She had challenged him to a race and he thought it quite ridiculous really, how could a lion possibly beat a cheetah? Now though he was starting to regret what he had boasted. Sure he had gained a head start but now, well now he was running out of steam and cursing himself for being such a fool and allowing her to set the distance. His muscles burned and his tail was staring to droop. Pyaodee, had never been a good loser and he was going to lose because of his cockiness. Damn.

Cozi'kari giggled as she nipped the tip of the pale blue cheetahs tail. "I'v nearly caught you Pyaodee!" She smiles widely her pale eyes dancing joyfully as she finally pressed her shoulder against his. She was no fool, cheetahs were faster sure, but they were no good at long distance. "You could always give up now!" She giggles again licking his cheek playfully as she started to pass him, her tail flickering against his back.

Lahna was in an irritated mood... well sort of. It as just how she was anyways... but since she had gone out on the traditional pilgrimage of the swamp pride with her friend... companion... what ever he was... she hadn't been able to get him away from her.... or she hadn't really made him. She sighed, her eyes half lidded as she sat under a tree. She told him to stay put for a while since his pelt was black... the heat would kill him out here... and she was away hunting. She stood, stretching her gloved legs before yawning and shaking her ears. She wasn't much in the mood for hunting.

Syr
Pyaodee pulled to a sudden halt "Stop, stop." He states standing guarded as he looked at the female before them. he didn't know her and that made her a threat, in his eyes any way. "You there, who are you?" he grumbles stepping in front of the lilac lioness. Hardly really any larger than a normal cheetah, just rather taller, Pyaodee looked down at the female before them his tail twitching in an irritated manner.

Cozi'kari sighs a little "Awes and I was going to win." She giggles looking around the tall pale blue cheetah with a smile "He means hello." She chuckles quietly nodding tot he other lioness, a sweet, gentle smile on her maw. "Don't mind him, he doesn't know how to greet anyone properly." She rolls her eyes dramatically.

Lahna watched the couple approach and narrowed her eyes cautiously. she had never seen a creature like the blue one... He was not a lion but she wasn't sure what. She stood her ground, her winged frame standing strong. "I should be asking the same question... you blue thing..." She said, wrinkling her nose as the other lioness approached. She looked at her for a moment, a bit more comforted at the presence of a species she knew. "Uh... Hello.... There..." She said, not sure how to talk to outsiders

Syr
"Blue thing? I am a cheetah, Lion!" He snorts looking at Cozi. "Blue thing? Are lions so miseducated these days that theydon't know a noble cheetah when they see one?" He grunts not at all appreciating being called a 'thing'.

Cozi giggles. "Oh Pyaodee, not everyone is as well travelled as you you grumpy blue fluffy thing." She smiles at the young lioness. "He's easily offended." She giggles again. "I'm Cozi and this is Pyaodee, he's a cheetah, have you never seen one before my dear? They aren't all as grumpy as him." She grins and winks playfully.

Splitty
Lahna eyed the strange blue one for a moment before turning up her nose. "Well i didn't know!" She snorted. She then looked to Cozi. "I haven't seen one before. I am from the Swamp Pride... we don't have cheetahs there. I am on my pilgramage to find my adult name... with my friend... were ever he is... " She sighed cause she knew perfectly where he was waiting. "I'm Lahna... but that won't be my name for long... Nope."

Syr
Cozi raised a brow, the swamp pride? She had heard of it but didn't know anything about it. "I don't suppose his little feet would be able to get through a swamp." She grins at Pyaidee. "Don't be offended dear, he is just a big lanky grump sometimes. He means well, most of the time." She chuckles nudging Pyaodee aside a little.

Pyoadee snorts and shakes his slender head. "Your pride must be full of ignorance if they can't even tell their young what a cheetah is. Corse,w e are much more wonderful than any old lions so they probably fear us." He grumbles quietly, he was not best impressed and felt very insulted, despite knowing that Cozi might be offended by his words.

"Oh Pyaodee, he doesn't mean that my dear, he is just easel offended. Your pride sounds very interesting, you say you change your name?"

Splitty
Lahna wasn't sure whether she should loose her temper or what... she wrinkled her nose in dislike rather and decided to ignore the cheetah. She looked too the lioness. "its just a secretive pride I suppose... and we had some hard times not long ago..." She sat for a moment in thought at the fact she was with the murderers son in fact. "Yeah. We go out before we are adults and aquire our names... it's just what we do... I want to find my name so bad... I dislike it out here... too dry. My feet dislike this hard ground..." She looked down at them.

Syr
The lioness smiles lightly "Oh yes, it must be hard to be away from home, how do you know when you've found your new name? How do you know you haven't found it already?" Se questions a brow raised at the youngster, this pride sounded very interesting, perhaps she would visit one day, perhaps not, but it sounded like a strange place.

Pyaodee looked at the young lioness and grunts, "Not in to getting my feet wet and muddy. Cheetahs are much too sensible for the swamps." He mumbles. "Just call yourself mud and go back to it then." He sniffs.

Splitty
Lahna's eyebrow twitched at his rude comment. She kept her attention on the lioness rather. "I don't know... I am not sure... I think we do something to remember or something... It is hard to explain. Some lions never come back from the pride... it may never happen...."

Syr
"Im sure you will find your name soon. If you miss your family and home, it'll come to you." She smiles, she had a feeling this female wouldn't be out on her own for too long. "perhaps something to do with homesickness, or lost, or even found may help you." She smiles nudging Pyaodee. "Apologise to the poor grill Pyao, it's not nice for you to say that."

Pyaodee sighs and grumps "Finefine. I'm sorry. But if you miss your how so much you should just pick a name and go home."

Splitty
Lahna looked to him and shook her head seriously. "I Can't do that... It has to mean something to me... I can't just pull one out of no where and use it... I want something that will MEAN something to me... forever..." She nodded. "I am not sure what... I don't really miss it soo much that I'd want to make something up... I want it to mean something... make my parents proud."

Syr
Cozi nods gently "It will come to you when you least expect it, these things always do." She chuckles and noses Pyaodee. "We should really be getting on, we were racing to the watering hole and I am starting to feel a bit parched."

Pyaodee rolls his eyes. "Good, this conversation seems to be going no place." He grunts walking away though he waited quietly a few feet away for Cozi.

"Forgive him, he just doesn't know how to be social." She giggles padding off after the tall blue male. "Good luck finding your name my dear. I hope you find your way home soon."

Splitty
Lahna simply nodded her head to Cozi. "Well, it was nice to have met you two..." Though she meant mostly hte lioness since the cheetah didn't seem so happy about even having to breath in her direction. 'I hope I find it too..." She said, standing up and walking back to her friend... even though she hadn't found anything to eat.
