User ImageAn odd chill coated the evenings dusky landscape. The air was still and most wildlife was gone. It was an odd sort of evening, it held an eerie undertone to it, like a night when ghosts would walk the earth. Excitement buzzed through the air, a tenseness was carried out in anticipation. The way of the air could be welcomed by some but others found it aggravating. One mare in general despised the tension and anticipation of the air.

Angeetia's ears were pinned down and her tail thrashed occasionally, a habit she'd picked up on from her most prized toy Einar. Her hooves fell quietly upon the earth as she attempted to stomp her way through the forest. It was times like these when she felt more like a ghost then a shadow mare. She stalked through the forest quietly though she wanted to be loud and obnoxious as she walked. She ground her teeth together slightly, she didn't mind the eerie undertone to the night, no what she was not enjoying was the stillness of the air and the anticipation in the air, Something big was going to happen and it was those moments the mare hated the most though they could lead to pleasant happenings. It was on a night such as this that she'd captured her best toy. The forest was not her home field though, she was not fully accustomed to the forest. If she were to come across something dangerous she'd have the disadvantage. Though the night didn't have to happen that way. The hair on the back of her neck lay still and no odd sense had made her fell in danger at all, which were good signs. She had a goal in mind and she didn't see where she'd remain in the forest much longer, her goal was a water source, she hoped upon arriving she'd get away from the tense air.

Necro glanced over the oddly still forest with his creepy all white eyes. They were the only thing about him that didn't blend into the dark forest. He may have been big, yes, but his body though slowly could swiftly move throughout the forest without any sound. The only notice left that he was even there in the first place was the bloody footprints he left everywhere, and the bloody smear marks his broken wings made when they brushed lighting against a tree.

He didn't mind the still air of the forest, nor did he mind just how silent it was. He was use to things like this, it reminded him of his unofficial home of the graveyard. The thing he didn't like was the tension and excitement ticking in the air, it felt like there was something else going on in this forest that he was unaware of. It was unnerving to him, he had to keep glancing around to make sure nothing was gonna pop out at any moment and get him.
Which was quite silly really, since he had already died once then brought back with a terrible curse,to forever walk this land slowly losing chuck after chuck of his body till he was nothing but different body parts rotting in the sun. What else could the spirits throw at him? Nothing that could shock him now, thats what. He was use to pain, he was use to being lonely, and he was use to being a monster. In fact he dared them to come up with a challenge that would shock him!

His large body lumbered forward at a fairly slow pace. He could finally hear the sweet sound of rushing water crashing over the rocks of the river. He wasn't going there to drink, the stallion no longer really needed to drink more then just a few times a day now. No he was simply going there to cool off, and well follow the stories he had heard from his close friend about strange beings that were part fish, part horse. He felt the need in his bones to seek out strange ones like him, to show them that there were others like them out there. And with these fish horses, to him, they were like him. Different, strange beings that most likely were shunned by 'normal' soquili. A soft smile played upon his face as he thought about it, he could feel it somehow that he'd meet someone as strange as him. Were they gonna be those fish people? He had no clue, but he was looking forward to it all the same.

The sound of water crashing against the rocks caused Angeetia's ears to flick forward. She wasn't far, the river would be just up ahead, crashing over rocks more like a small bout of rapids. The water was like emotions. Trashing and ever changing. Fluid and unpredictable.

She often found herself at the river by the forest. Like a ghost watching over the river as it tossed and thrashed. Like a mother that watched over a child with fever. Twigs snapped under her footfalls causing her to smirk. She tried to stomp her feet to make noise and when she stopped trying she made a sound.

The river where she approached it was separated from the land by a short cliff. It was not too far but she didn't feel like jumping down so she;d stand there and look down upon the river. Not far the small ledge lowered in a slope to meet the river.
