Jumping around excitedly Kairi’s tail swung back and further the wind blowing her hair wildly, this was the life! She had a game partner and she was apparently going to have more game partners in a few months! Though she wouldn’t be able to play with them right away she knew that much about puppies but she so wished that she could. She might never have paid attention to the important things about mates and puppies but she did know that she was going to make sure that her puppies had an amazing life. Sighing Kairi stretched calming down a bit before glancing around, it was nice to be part of something and with her memory it felt like every day she was being accepted anew, she only wished she could understand her feelings for this Jono fella.
He seemed nice, and loyal… And kind of cute but part of her was afraid, she didn’t know what of she just knew she was afraid of taking it too far. Again she had no idea what ‘too far’ was so oh well! Moving on Kairi locked eyes with that of some moving leaves nearby and quickly hopped off wanting nothing more than to chase after them.

Jono slipped through the underbrush, keeping comfortable under the shade trees. It was hot, and his bulky fur only made things worse. He still felt a bit put out over his situation, but he had been watching the female, as he had watched his own mother, his own grandmother. Kairi was showing the same signs that the other females in his life had shown when they were going to give birth.
His puppies. It was a very strange feeling, but he tried not to dwell on it. Things would be alright. The news had made Loki extremely pleased, and he felt for once that maybe she was more happy with him than she was with his brother Castor. Interesting turn of events. Jono still wasn't sure how he felt about that little mess, but things would right themselves in time.
It wouldn't be long now, though, for Kairi. Maybe he should find her, and make sure she was alright. There was no point in trying to avoid her. The big male smiled as he corrected his direction to take him on a course that would most likely intersect with the one Kairi might be on.

Hearing another approaching Kairi smirked spinning around only to become sick at the sudden movement, that’s been happening a lot lately. She’d become sick at the thought of sick, she’d been sore, tired more and also a lot more emotional; she had never been emotional. She knew it was her pups doing it to her but part of her didn’t understand WHY these things just HAD to happen during the pregnancy.
Shrugging Kairi let the nausea wave through her body making her shake near the end, but there was no vomit this time. ‘Thank god…’ Kairi hated throwing up, it tasted bad made her shake and feel weak and also made her more sore on the inside then what she already was.
Sighing Kairi shook her head, she knew that game her and Jono had played lead to this and part of her felt more sick thinking about it what she didn’t understand is why she was so willing to play it again sometimes. Sometimes… at night she would wake up really hot and really… Needy, it was an odd feeling because all she could think about was Jono and that game.
What did it all mean?

"Hello dear." he greeted the female upon coming near her. He figured she would be in a bad way, feeling sick, dizzy, maybe even more forgetful and stressed than her usual self. He just hoped things went well when it was time for the pups to be born.
He nuzzled her gently and motioned for them to continue walking, leading them to the river that separated the two packs from each other. The only truly safe way to cross the river was to cross the large fallen tree that lay across the fast-moving body of water. This is what he intended to do now.
"I want to take you to the pack's sister pack - Hollow Earth. They make their homes under the mountain. I think you'll find it interesting, unless you're afraid of the dark." he smiled and continued to lead the way, slowly so Kairi wouldn't be too stressed physically.

Kairi’s tail went up after she was done her sickness wave, happy to see Jono the wolf might confuse her but he sure made her happy sometimes… Suddenly too. It was odd. Shrugging Kairi followed after the guy ignoring his gestures of affection, she wasn’t the affection type she was just a playful spirit. She liked to sleep next to someone yeah but that was a deep seated weakness that not even Kairi knew of truly.
Wait, afraid!? Growling Kairi’s tail dropped, her mind had wondered as she followed Jono but once her ears picked up that of a challenge Kairi let out a low growl. “Afraid!” Laughing Kairi started to dash forward only to slow down, her stomach hurt if she ran like that now a days.
Grumbling Kairi huffed, “I might not be fierce right now but I am not afraid!” She sounded like a pup herself, oh gosh the thought of her raising pups. Oh whoops back to Kairi, huffing to herself Kairi continued onward not caring where she went just as long as she didn’t seem afraid to Jono.

The happy demeanor washed suddenly from Jono's face. He hadn't meant to make her feel belittled... he had only been playing with her with his comment. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean..." he trailed off as she rushed ahead. There was no reason for him to try to placate her, it would only make things worse.
"Where are you going?" he asked, keeping up with her, but a few steps behind as to not aggravate her more. "I was hoping we could spend the day together, I could introduce you to some new friends. I know this pack is slow and boring right now... I just wanted to make you feel more at home." he pleaded, hoping to get back in her good graces, and turn her mood in a more positive direction.
That is, if she even wanted this to be home. He hoped to live out their days together, playing with and raising their pups, watching the pack grow stronger. Maybe she didn't want that. It was a heart breaking thought, but Jono would never try to chain a free spirit. That would only hurt everyone, in the end.

Huffing Kairi shrugged off Jono’s little spat about… stuff, what was he talking about? He was always talking about, things, and he always wanted her to respond with more of his talkings. Don’t get Kairi wrong she did like talking but right now she wanted to play… ‘Oh wait I can’t…’ Grumbling Kairi slowed from her prance to walk next to Jono.
He wanted to talk, fiiine… She’ll talk with him. “It doesn’t matter where you go, as long as you have the adventure you’re meant to while on it.” Glancing around Kairi watched as the trees moved and the leaves danced, she so wished she could with them, to dance with the wind… Smiling Kairi’s body calmed as she thought of what Jono was talking about.
What was he talking about? Oh yeah! Family, friends… Friends? This brightened Kairi’s mood, her body twitched to jump and hump but she knew that she couldn’t… Surprisingly. “New Friends?” Smiling brightly Kairi’s tail wagged as she thought of all the games she could play… but wait she can’t play games right now. As fast as her smile had appeared it disappeared in the same time, stopping in her tracks Kairi plopped onto the ground, “I can’t make new friends right now…”
Why was she so sad? She could still make friends she knew this! But then… Why did she feel like crying all of a sudden?

The bigger wolf nodded and moved close to her again. "Yep, new friends. There's a whole pack of them right over the river." he explained with a loving smile. "Any wolf from our pack is welcome in their pack, and the opposite, at any time. We're sister packs." he told her, happy to have her fit in more every day.
"The pack's alphas are Samhain and Draka." he recounted, giving as much information as he knew. "Draka is my cousin's daughter, and Samhain is..." he trailed off. He remembered Schatze. She had been his 'sister' a long long time ago, but not by blood. His parents had adopted her, and she had left as a teen and apparently found a pack and a mate. Samhain was her son. "Samhain is my nephew." he stated, matter-of-factly.
"So, do you want to go meet them?" he asked, wondering what other wolves would be there. He knew his brother and sister, Pol and Sol lived there too, and a rogue wolf named Freed. It would be quite the meeting for Kairi if everyone was home.
