Helena didn't have a lack of love growing up. But like many children of celebrity parents, there was a bit of resentment when it came to them having busy schedules that didn't always include her. But they did they best they could and to the delight of all it was soon found out that little Helena was a gifted child that had an IQ that was far over normal and well into the genius stature. The girl always had her nose in a book or was elbow deep into the experiments that she'd run in her miniature chemistry lab that her parents that added on to there expansive Gothenburg estate. Helena grew up with a great love of poetry and all things scientific.
Though she had another passion that didn't quite fit in with her academic loves. She adored to ski. Cross country and down hill, it didn't matter. She thrived during the winter months, her nannies having to keep a close watch on her for she would forget how long she'd been out in the winter wonderland that surrounded her family estate. Another passion would be awoken the year that she turned fifteen. She had attended an ice sculpting festival in a nearby small town and fell instantly in love with the craft that could make ice look like diamonds or glass. The smooth lines of fantasy come to life before her eyes and this was what gave her parents uneasy pause, no one wants to give their 15 year old daughter a chainsaw but like with everything when it came to their darling little Helena, they couldn't say no for long. So they got her into lessons and low and behold she held a natural talent for this as well. Soon enough she was creating works of art that would unfortunately perish as the warm weather would return to Sweden once more.

As is common with those of fine blood-lines, which is true on both sides of her parentage. Helena was promised as a bride at the age of five to a young man of wealth and nobility. One Nathan Montibello, son of a family friend. Whom she has only met once in her life. A brief meeting that she barely remembers at all. Funny enough the most vivid of that memory was a happy little baby boy that looked more like a doll with those long lashes and big expressive eyes to match. Such a cute button nose and tiny bow for a mouth that was just perfect for the giggles to squeal out of when she'd carefully tickle his chubby little belly. Nico, that was the baby's name, little baby brother Nico.

Now at age sixteen she's about to embark on a trip that has feeling more uncertain then she ever has in her life. Her parents are on their way to do charity work in Haiti and while they will be busy there for many, many months they do not like the idea of leaving their teen-aged daughter alone. So she is on her way to live with the family that she will one day become a part of, the Montibello estate in King's City. But will what she find there live up to her youthful fantasies or will it fall horribly short?
