Owners of edited Kirin may request for the offspring to be unedited. However, owners of unedited Kirin cannot request for the offspring to be edited, since the parents have no edits which they could pass to their offspring.

Basic rules:

1. No homosexual or bisexual relationships allowed! Period!

Concerning Gaiaonline breedable/changing pets I am laying down a rule that any shop with my lineart (commissioned or not) at this point cannot contain homosexual characters on the templates and lines that I create. I've offered the following "rule" to add to the front in case you get angry customers:
"As per request of the template artist, homosexual and/or bisexual characters are strictly forbidden from the shop. We want everyone to understand that this is not attack on those of this lifestyle choice or those that sympathize with them, it’s simply a request by the artist so that her artwork is not used to promote something that violates her personal beliefs. If this rule is too much for you, there are hundreds of other shops on gaia, some that don’t allow hetero characters. If you absolutely must blow steam at someone over this, feel free to contact Thalion, but do not bring it up in the thread or harass the staff over it. This can get you gray listed or blacklisted."

2. No incest, meaning Kirin cannot breed with any of their blood related family. Please keep track of your kirin's family.

3. Your Kirin must be at least 30 days old adult to be able to breed. If kirin was obtained as egg it means it has to be 58 days old in total: 28 days required for it to grow to adult stage + 30 days required for adult to mature enough for breeding.

4. Breeding is not activity required but it is encouraged since that will increase possibility of higher number of foals.

5. Lowest number of eggs that pair can get in breeding is one. Edited breedings can result with four eggs maximum and unedited breeding with six eggs maximum.

6. Time needed for mares to lay their eggs is 7 days, for eggs to hatch is 7 days and for foals to grow up to adult is 14 days.

7. Each owner can keep only one egg per breeding. If there are extra eggs left, they can be homed by the parents' owners or given to the shop to be homed. Under no circumstances may you sell them.

8. Kirin can decide to mate with one partner for life or have more than one partner. They can also live in herds.

9. Once a breeding slot is obtained, stallions can breed again right away, while mares must wait until all offspring have grown to adulthood.

10. Owners may post up to three pairs in each breeding raffle, but can only win two slots per month. Whether you enter all three pairs in one post, three separate posts, or divide the posts with the other owners is up to you. Still you can win only one breeding slot per breeding raffle.
