Nya wasn't sure if her deal with Primitus was such a good idea. She wasn't sure why she was second guessing herself. They would be raised by Primitus and his mortal mate, Nya would visit often. She had no reason to worry for her cubs, they would know her and Nana both as mother. And nya could help fulfill that families need. They wanted a family of godlings to raise. She wanted to help. She didn't have the time or the well... the safety to raise them herself. She hoped they wouldn't see her as wrong. She paced back and forth at the watering hole, her wings fluttering nervously.
It was fun, being in mortal form, fun and exhilarating and interesting and just fun. Being a fit of the size he normally was and having four hooves was something he had, had to get used to, but hiding in this mortal form allowed him to see things differently. From a true prey beasts perspective. Of course, when he saw the goddess he felt a little weary. She may simply hunt him but she seemed distracted, confused even. "Hello." He says simly, standing a good distance format he goddess, showing no fear but keeping his distance away from her, just incase she did decide to make a meal out of him. Of course, he could always flit back to his immortal form, but he wanted to see if he could fool a goddess with this guise.
Nya lifted her head as someone called out to her. Her eyes were soft and sort of serene. She looked to the klippspringer with a soft smile. "Hello there..." She said softly as she stepped in its direction. "What are you doing out here little guy...." She said, her face now soft and gentle.
Palahala snorted, he knew he was larger than your average Klipspringer, it was hard to fit all of everything in to a smaller body, even though this was his disguise. "I often come out here to drink." He states, his tiny stumpy tail flickering his ears twitching. "You're not going to hunt me are you ma'am? You seemed sad, do you need someone to talk to?" He questions raising a slender brow at the soft lilac female.
She chuckled softly. "No i won't hunt you... I have no desire too... especially with you so polite." She said softly, sitting and wrapping her tail around her paws, her feathers adjusting. "Well. I suppose if you felt inclined to talk to me... I would not mind the company..." She smiled.
Palahala smiles remaining standing, the soft brown Klipspringer nods his head and gives a little snort, checking around, as a normal klippy would, to check no one was sneaking up on him. He had developed this habit a long time ago, but it was never more necessary than when he was in this form. "Well, it's right to be polite to others, more so to a goddess." he states. "My name is Pala." He smiles, shortening his name, further his disguise "what is the matter mistress and how can I be of service?"
She nodded her head. "I am Nyasambe. Goddess of Mothers. I figure it is more formal to introduce myself as such." She said softly, her eyes half lidded in worry. "And my problem is... well I suppose... I am going to be pairing with another god... so he and his mortal mate can raise my cubs. I am okay with this in every way... it will bring them much happiness but... I can't help but feel the cubs may hate me or something.. I just can't raise cubs now... I am on my way back to my pride... and they are having hard times..."
He smiles then, a little glint in his chocolatey eyes "I have children, but they only spend some time with myself. They spend a lot of time with their mother because she wished for them and I helped her to have them. I love them dearly and they know it but they are not always mine." he sighs lightly "I sometimes wish I had waited until I found, the one, but I know I made her happy by giving her the gift of children. You are doing a very selfless thing madam."
Nya nodded. "I know it will bring them such happiness... Primitus said his mate Bokoboko wishes she was a goddess... She was raised by a goddess herself so she will raise the cubs right... they have a mortal litter as well... I think it will be a good home... a safe pride... It is all wonderful. " She smiled. "Thank you for the compliment Pala... someday I hope to find a god to be with forever on end.... It is just a hard thing to find..."
The klipspringer nodded "yes it is, it's hard to find that one amongst the crowed." He sighed, he was looking amongst the mortals of the world himself now, for that one. "You should do what you think is right ma'am, it's a hard decision to make but it sounds like they will be raised well."
Nya nodded. "I am happy for their happiness." She said simply, inclining her head and wrinkling her nose. "As long as I make a mother happy. I am happy... that is my domain and my whole being." She puffed out her chest and her brothers feather flutter against her chest in the breeze. "It is my destiny to make mothers out of females... thats what I do. Hehe."
Palahala smiles lightly "Thats a very selfless domain ma'am" He states his little tail twitching again, he wondered if he should show himself to this goddess. Introduce himself as the god of prey or if he should keep his guise. Perhaps, another time. "You are doing a wonderful thing ma'am and I think you have made up your mind already so, please, smile, it's not right for a beautiful lady to be sad."
Nya giggled softly. "Now now... young pala.... what a flirt you are..." She giggled again. "It is a selfless domain. I would give my life to a mother if it meant her own. I would also give myself over in sacrifice for my pride as well... It is only right."
Palahala smiles perfectly charming smile "Well, you are pretty ma'am." He chuckles and nods sagely, he knew he could and would put himself on the line for his herd, for other prey beasts, that was his domain after all. He had to look after those within it. "You are a very good soul Mistress, I hope we can meet again some day, but I must get back to my herd before I am missed." He smiles and looks at the water deciding he didn't need a drink he turns to hop away. "Good luck in your venture ma'am, I hope you find happiness in your life."
Nya nodded knowingly. "Yes yes... I need to find my pride... I have been searching for them... and I need to go to primitus... he is awaiting me." She smiled. "I am glad we met Pala. I hope to meet again someday!" She stood up and shook herself off, her pale feathers fluttering.
