׺°”˜`”°º× ׺°”˜`”°º× Dice Eliza Quinn kept her head held high as she travelled. There had been a bump a long the way but she had quickly over-thrown the obstacle and got back on track with the origional reason for wandering around the Kawani. After the village she had decided to take a small step towards the river. It was beautiful, the waters surface danced and glistened in the light of the sun. Fish swarmed the underbelly of the banking in between weeds and small stepping stones.
Staring in to her reflection, onyx bangs blown by the soft breeze, for the first time she saw someone other than a pawn in a game. She breathed in deeply and closed her eyes. Taking in everything around her and just relaxing for a moment. Peace.
Until she heard hooves. Her ears swiveled madly, ribbon tassles bouncing against her hair. She turned her head, her eyes staring in the direction of the clip-clops. She turned quickly and jumped in to the shade of a few tall evergreens. Sneakily peering around the corner at the other soquili.

Devicius moved slowly along in the shadows of the trees, for once enjoying his time away from his secluded clearing. He let out a large sigh as he looked around, noticing that he had let his feet lead the way for longer than he had wished. The surroundings were unfamiliar, but still normal for him--he very rarely set foot outside the forest. Still, he could not help but wonder what may be lurking beyond the trees, be it good or bad. Or beautiful...
Yes, it had been a long while since Devicius had made a tryst with a female. Ever since he had met Io and acquired her friendship, he just hadn't felt like playing his old heartless games. They seemed unnatural and careless, as if he was taking one bite out of an apple and throwing it away. He didn't like it... but he still missed the excitement of flirting and wooing, and wondered if he'd ever get another opportunity to do so.
He stretched his sightly neck around and gazed at his coat... Hmm, it seemed that he had been staying put for too long lately. The dust and dirt had grown, creating a barely noticeable, yet highly annoying, sheen of filth over his bright coat. It only seemed proper for him to wash it off... now to find a stream!
And thankfully, not too far away, he heard the sound of flowing water. However, when he crossed the barrier of the trees onto the soft grass, he noticed that the body of water was larger than anticipated, and that he was no longer alone.

Concordia Discors moved along pondering where she was heading exactly. She did not have the sense of direction like her so called "Father" had, but all she knew was that she wanted to be no where near that smothered stallion of a "Father". Her ears piqued forward and swerved about observing the area around her. It sounded like water was close by like a stream or river? She pondered to herself, looking down to her tan skin. She could use a bath since she had gotten a bit dusty from her travels through the plains. It was a warm day so a cool dip didn't seem unappealing.
Following the sounds of the water, she entered the river's area. Her eyes quickly found the nearest living thing. She was a striped mare, similar to her own stripes, and only holding the difference of a darker and monochrome coat. She was pretty, but it was nothing the mare would announce out loud. The resemblance of the mare to her own self was uncanny, and held hints of suspicion. Finding the gaze of mare at her, she stared right back at her with her teal eyes. "Hello there~" She greeted the other mare civilly.

Racardo had been swimming in the river for a short while, simply enjoying the gentle splash of the water as it lapped playfully at his sides, it cooled and gave him a happy sensation that truely made him feel happy. He had left his two annoying brothers not to long ago having declared that they where simply no fun to plot or play with anymore. His scheming needed more.... a mare parhaps? And definatly not a sister of his! Someone he could flirt and play with. Yes. He needed a challenge, but when none arose he had decided to rest for a while instead.
The strange black marking upon his belt seemed to stand out more now that the yellow was freshly cleaned and still moist with droplets of water that seemed to magnify certain aspects of the design.
He was actually enjoying begin alone for a change when he heard movement not too far away. He looked up, almost half expectantly but found himself to be disappointed when another stallion joined him. An an Angeni at that.... there was something about the breed that always made him feel lightly inferior -not that he would let on of course. The other creature of was of equally bright colours just of a different sort and for some reason Racardo had the impression they where two peacocks strutting their wears for possible onlooking females. The very notion brought a grin to his face.
Continuing to wade he looked almost half lazily at the other stallion as he spoke, a mischievious grin still upon his hamsome face. "So.... what brings you here this day? Female or other?" He chuckled a little, a lot of the stallions he had enountered had been due to them avoiding females or mates. He guessed they simply didn't have his charm.... or maybe be mated was just too much? His parents had always made it look easy.------------------------------------------------ Chandra was fuming, why did this flying thing have to be so hard when her sister (Io) and father (Maion) seemed to make it look so easy. Great, just something else she wasn't good at. Maybe she really was a runt like her brother Mal always teased her with.
She had been flying low for a while, but the ache was already starting to get to her. Giving in she looked for a good place to land, the forest was always near impossible to land in -well if you wanted to look graceful at least, if you didn't mind falling on your arse it wasn't so bad. But near the edge of the forest she saw a small clearing that seemed to lead to a lake. Not bad, of course she could also see two figures. "Great," she mumbled to herself with a roll of her eyes, "...now I have to try and land well or I will make a fool of myself." Taking a deep breath and counting to ten she started her descent to the earth once more.
It didn't take long and she found a place just south of the two figures -hoping they would not even notice her. Concentrating with all her might she remembered the lessons her father had given her and Sonnet. Change the wing shape -check, flick the end of your wings up -check, possition legs -check, and landing in.... one... two... three.... she landed with a soft thud, her hooves carried her for a few steps and then she came to a stop. A grin spread over her face - she had done it, and not half bad if she didn't say so herself. Yet as she finially took the time to take in her surrounds she found she was standing in the middle of two groups of two. Behind her there where two grounded that she believed to be mares, and infront of her there was two stallions of different breeds. Deciding the mares would be easier to address rather than two males she started towards them. "Hello," she chirped.

׺°”˜`”°º× ׺°”˜`”°º× Peering around to see who was there, she was met with two bright eyes, pale in colour but they belonged to a beautiful mare, with a tan coat with very familiar markings. It was like looking into a mirror almost. With the obvious exceptions of course. She looked like she also belonged in heartland. The ribbon neatly tied in her hair, decorated with cream lace and the multitoned mane and tail. Dice broke a very gentle smile and stepped forth, revealing herself from the darker shadows, making her coat less dull and more vibrant in the sunlight.
"Hi." She happily greeted back, tail swaying slowly side to side and flicking at her back legs. "You look awefully familiar." She chuckled, reffering to their appealing features. She made her way over to her, so they were only mere steps away from each other and studied her closely.
"Your really pretty." She complimented, not one to hold back where comments were needed. The thud of another set of hooves caused her head to raise and c**k to one side, seeing a graceful, sparkling mare with the blessings of the night sky amongst her coat and curly blue hair; a horn of silver upon her head. How strange, two mares in one place. That was unnusual where she came from and not once yet had she come across such company. She didn't mind of course, it would be a nice change.
"Looks like were not alone- Hey! Come on over." She offered with another smile, returning the winged mares greeting.
The splashes in the distance also indicating this, as two stallions trailed in and aside the lake. Handsome too. This was going to be fun!~

Devicius stood still for a moment, assessing the new situation he found himself in. Despite the fact that another stallion was in the river, and had already spoken to him, his eyes trailed across the river to where three other beautiful mares were standing. He usually avoided groups like this, even when most genders were female--he was simply a withdrawn and seclusive soul and preferred to have his fun in private. However, the setting could not have been any more enticing; A perfect place for bathing, a shining sky to reveal his bright colors, three gorgeous females to lather attention upon... he wasn't sure if he wanted to pass the opportunity up.
Deciding to stay and try out a new game, Devicius finally turned his attention back towards the other stallion, letting his wings spread out a bit from his sides as his muscles relaxed. His eyes carefully ran over the stallion's coat; Bright colors, similar to his own, adorned it in a galaxy-like pattern. The yellow eyes seemed smart and cunning, perhaps a bit of a challenge to the experienced seducer. But Devicius felt comfortable enough to offer a reply, and let a smooth smirk spread upon his face as he replied,
"Neither. I came only for a bath--though it seems that I have ran into something much better. I would not mind spending a few extra minutes for the sake of females..." His eyes flicked over to the grinning feminine faces, and he began to feel a bit of his old lusty self arise from deep within. He turned back to the stallion. "Would you mind if I joined you? I am in need of a bath, and this river is highly appealing."
He grinned, and without waiting for an answer, he tipped his head to the side and let his feathered hat fall to the ground, not wishing to have it water-logged. With a graceful flutter of his four wings, he lifted from the ground and slid easily into the cool water, enjoying the shiver that ran down his spine.
"Ahh... much better." He turned to the ladies, making sure they were watching, and winked in their direction, an open invitation.

It didn't take long for Concordia Discors to realize that the river was getting busy. The sounds of idle chatter around her brought testament to that. Turn her head one direction, she took in the males who were congregating on one end of the river, and turning her head to the other part of the river, were two mares. She assumed one had just arrived, and that being the angeni mare. Her teal eyes narrowed slightly on her, before returning her attention to the grounded mare. "Do I?" She paused. "A familiarity can be seen between us. Our lustrious hair, curled in a direction or another. The bow that adorns our hair. Even we share a common striping along our back." She purred lightly to the mare. "It appears we share common attributes~."
Listening to her seemingly darker counterpart, her eyes followed her gaze on the angeni mare. She did hold beauty, but it would not be something she would admit. Her lips pursed in thought before she decided to manipulate her expression to a more pleasant expression. "Hello~" She greeted back the mare in return for her greeting.

((Sorry guys I never noticed it was my turn)) Racardo's attention was instantly divided by him noticing that several females had appeared at the edge of the river. As the angeni spoke he heard himself say "Yeah sure, not like I own it..." but he had no consicious thought of actually thinking it.
He swam a little to get a better look at them and his fell instantly on a particularly beautiful grounded mare of darker striped pelt, yet there also seemed to be her sister with her, also beautiful. His eyes drifted from each of the mares before looking another Angeni, he didn't know if seeing two of their kind in one day was a good omen or a bad thing. Looking at the male that joned him in the river he decided it would be fun to make a bet, either way the end result would be one that would work in his advantage and make things..... interesting. "I have a proposition. The challenge is to get all those beautiful ladies to join us. The prize.... well...." he smiled slyly, "...whatever they want." His eyes drifted to the dark coloured mare once more.
He flashed all three of the ladies a charming smile and continued to swim half heartedly around the lake in an effort to appear nonchalant.------------------------------------------------ Chandra watched the two similarly patterned mares as she approached with a smile and a delicate nod of the head in welcome. "My name is Chandra." Raising herself to full size once more she took in the details of the two and asked the first question that popped into her head, "...are you sisters?" She knew that not all siblings looked alike, her and Io looked very difficult like night and day when they stood side by side but there was something very similar about their markings.
She turned behind her to spy the Angeni stallion winking in their direction as well as the regular grinning like a cheshire cat. She cocked a eyebrow and couldn't help the giggle that escaped her lips as she turned back to the mare, "...it seems someone wants our attention."

׺°”˜`”°º× ׺°”˜`”°º× Dice listened to the similar mare with a smile on her face, everything she said was flattering but it was bound to be, they were both so pretty. Her eyes took to the angeni mare as she approached and asked a simple question. Though they weren't she wondered if she could get everyone to believe they were sisters, twins in fact. She gave the other grounded mare a knowing look wondering if she would play along with her little plan. She walked closer and stood at her side, beaming with a wide smile. "Of course! Were twins." She chuckled, tilting her head. "My names Dice."
Although her attention didn't last on only one pair of eyes for long because they filtered over to a regular male, who was splashing around close to them and grinning in their direction. She looked to the other females but realised, it was towards her. She smiled back at him sweetly, acting shy as she moved her head to the side, letting her bangs fall almost fully into her eyes, just a snidey peak leaking through with one of her blue orbs. A blush sealed on her face.
Made loud enough for him to hear, she spoke to the other mares. "Hehe, don't you think the males here are soo handsome? Especially the one in yellow. Mhmm." ׺°”˜`”°º× ׺°”˜`”°º×

Devicius dipped his head beneath the water, gently shaking it to loosen any debris that might have been in his thick hair. He then re-surfaced, bobbing his head to let the curls fall back into their natural place. He sighed, glancing back over to the females. For the first time, he noticed how similar the black regular and the tannish regular were. Their markings were fairly similar, and even their hair resembled eachother's. However, despite her friendly facade, he could see that something naughtier lurked beneath the tan's features. He knew that game all too well...
He looked to the side, and saw that the splashing grounded male was attracting all the attention of the females. A bit of his old jealousy surfaced, and for once, he felt his age. Why was he simply bathing? He would have went right into the seductive routine from the start a couple of years ago. It was time for the competitiveness to begin...
He chuckled at the other stallion's challenge, and replied, "Excellent idea. Move out of the way, boy."
He moved forward, deeper and closer to the mares on the other side, and spread his four large wings out wide, dipping them beneath the water. Then, with a seductive little smirk, he drew them all forward in a quick snap-like motion, splashing water onto the bank and just short of the mares. He then gave them a little ruffle and settled them back at his sides, swimming deeper into the water.
"Come on out, ladies! The water is fine, if I say so myself." He grinned, giving an inviting gesture of his head.

(( SORRY ABOUT THE HUGE DELAY! ))
Concordia Discor's eyes met with the darker pelted mare that shared a resemblance with her. Her eyes moved from her 'sister's' form to the angeni mare before them. "Indeed. Can you not see that we are of common ancestry?" It may not be true, but it would be enjoyable to see the mare fall for this lie. Her eyes glimmered in amusement. "And I am Concordia Discors."
Her eyes again shifted from the angeni mare before her to the stallions that were vying for their attention. She glanced to the grounded stallion to the angeni stallion not too far off. "Is that so, sister? I must agree, but the angeni stallion has a mane to die for~" She purred out, making an effort to make eye contact with him.
As she continued to watch the stallion, it appeared that the stallion was moving forward to take a dip in the water. It wasn't until the stallion made a quick movement that the mare tensed up at the sight of water splashing onto the bank. Her hair was standing on end. "So eager to see us wet?" She purred out to the stallion in the water, trying to shake off her nerves.

Chandra couldn't tell if they where teasing her or being serious, so assuming they where telling the truth she simply nodded at them before commenting, "Well you are both very pretty."
Taking a step back as a small tidal wave of water splashed upon the bank, she had nothing against getting wet but she liked to do so on her terms, not the terms of a flirting male. Although Chandra had little to no experience with flirting she suddenly felt the desire to try.... but why did she feel so guilty about Sonnet? Curious.
Pushing the thought aside she was about to speak when she noticed that the yellow grounded stallion was joining them. Curious and curiouser....------------------------------------------------ Racardo was desperatly trying not to admit to himself that the mane on the other stallion left his own lacking, but still Racardo was confident enough in his own body... though something told him he was about to lose the bet and first pick. "Watch who you are calling boy." He growled low under his breath before directing his gaze back towards the females.
It seemed the angeni's attempts to draw them into the water was working, or at least had their attention. Too bad Racardo didn't want to play by the rules.
Swimming to the bank he pulled himself out of the water and gave his mane a swift shake to dislogde some of the water droplets. With a confidence that he really didn't fully feel any more he strode towards them, an almost smug grin peeled upon his face. Bowing his head in welcome to them before speaking he spoke in no more than a soft whisper so that the male behind him couldn't hear without straining. "So, ladies. How about helping a man out....?" he paused to cast a glance back towards his opponant and then back to the three beautiful females, his gaze settled sereval times on the darker coloured ground but he did his best to resist staring. "That male behind me just had his heartbroken by a devious vixen and could really do with some cheering up. I am sure the company of three beautiful ladies will help snap him to his senses." He softened his expression so that it appeared almost sad, hoping they would take pity on them... or rather the Angeni. As far as Racardo was concerned what he had said was a complete lie, an excuse to simply entice the ladies to join them.

׺°”˜`”°º× ׺°”˜`”°º× Dice gave the angeni with the dark coat a smile at her compliment and a nod of agreement as she remained silent. She was happy that this mare beside her had gone a long with the silly scheme however they were alike and had no problem with actually pretending. She appeared to be a great connection to keep anyway. Her eyes soon turned to the Ivory angeni that caught Concordia's attention, he was very handsome and sparkled with the creative essence that even those of the heartland kept but, the normality made a high interest to the game she was playing after all, she was trying to stay away from the flashy, very perfect kind of guys.
"Is that so?" She looked at the yellow male questionably, but didn't mention her doubts. With a smile she flicked her tail off in to the air behind her and trotted past and towards the water. If they wanted to see a lady wet, then why not? even if that meant her hair and ribbon would be soaked like a drowned rat, they thought that as sexy. Most stallions, at least. She slid her eyes either sides to take in the ones around her before placing one hoof in to the water. She braced herself.
He was right, the water was fine and wouldn't come as a spine chilling shock getting in to it. With a sigh of relief, she made her way further in and started trotting through the shallow, so the droplets sprayed and danced across her coat. Grinning with a faded blush on her cheeks.
"Come on, lets have some fun!"

Devicius watched the other stallion with half-narrowed eyes as he moved forward--until then, he had had the ladies' attention. Now the other stallion seemed to be saying something to them that made them look almost empathetic... what in the world was he saying?!
But the tan mare with the stripe-like markings seemed to be the most interested in him. Despite the way she tensed when he had splashed the water, he saw how her eyes lingered on his hair... he smirked, joyed that he still had the ability to woo the female gender. Now, if only he could lure her in!
"They do say that water makes movement so much easier--would you not like to move with me? It feels so nice, almost as if you are walking on air." He grinned, lifting an eyebrow, and gestured with a wing. He liked her, this tan mare. She seemed to have a fierceness beneath that sweet mask, and it was the fire that he craved.
He watched as the other mares started to enter the water, not minding so much now that he had to share attention with the other stallion. There were three beautiful ladies to share the day with! What more could he want?
