"Passengers boarding for the flight to Japan, please report to Gate 11" The announcer's voice floated in the background, while people bustled around the airport. Many of them were boarding for their next flight, or coming back, picking up their luggage. Senri flipped open his passport and boarding ticket for the person at the counter to verify his return, having just finished with a photo shoot that had taken him out of Destiny City for a week. His flight had returned to Destiny City in the morning. Senri flipped open his cellphone, reading 9:12 am. "All right, Mr. Cross. You're free to go."
"Thanks." Senri picked up his duffel bag, which was the only luggage that he had since everything else had been provided for him on the trip. He normally didn't go on trips that took him abroad, but his manager had begged him to accept the offer. She had offered him a weeks worth of food at his favorite bakery. How was he supposed to refuse that?
But at the very least, Senri was experienced with airports. He exited the west gate and easily stepped outside, where cars were loading and unloading themselves. People crowded in all corners, relatives, friends - Senri didn't care. He held up a hand, waving it in a customary motion to beckon one of the many taxis in the airport.

Adira didn't normally go through airports. She normally was brought to her plane directly. But considering her father had been away on business, and had absolutely needed her to contact a client, the girl had made do. First class wasn't terribly bad, but it was a step down from what she was used to. She was still dressed from the meeting, a fashionable cocktail style dress and heels. She didn't have any luggage, so going through customs had been a breeze. After getting her passport stamped again, she picked up her phone. "Hey Rupert, you here?" She paused. "What do you mean my mom said I didn't need you to pick me up anymore?" Another pause. "She just had to get groceries didn't she? alright, well, not your fault. I'll take a cab." She hung up her phone with a short click before turning back to the business at hand. It was never particularly difficult for her to hail a cab. There were a few other people along the curb attempting to hail them. Stepping onto the curb, Adira did an old school whistle as loud as she could manage. Apparently, it was loud enough for a taxi driver to screech to a halt in front of her. Or maybe it was for the boy next to her? She wasn't sure. She turned flashing him a smile. "My taxi or yours?" He was certainly cute enough.

Senri had noticed the female next to him, as he noted his other surroundings. Yet, that was all the attention he paid to her. At least until she produced one of the loudest whistles that Senri hadn't heard in a long time. His mouth curved in amusement, still smiling when the young girl flashed him a smile.
"Neither." His arm rested on the hood of the car, looking down at Adira. A quick assessing glance, Senri noting that the girl most likely had a rich upbringing or still had judging from her attire - Well, that didn't affect Senri's thoughts as he wasn't easily influenced by wealth or such materialistic things. He just needed a taxi, and he had no energy nor intention to fight for it. "I have no problem with sharing." Senri said with a lazy smile. "Especially not with a pretty girl such as yourself."
He moved to open the door, and asked the young lady "How about it? I promise I'm no danger." Really. Senri was more interested in getting back and sleeping in his familiar bed, then kidnapping or doing anything else untoward towards a stranger.

"I would be fine with sharing." She smiled again, moving to brush her long hair over one shoulder. Adira thanked him quietly for the open cab door before slipping inside, moving over to allow the boy room to slip in beside her. The cab was snug, but not overcrowded. Leaning forward, she told the cab driver where she was headed before leaning back again. She crossed her legs and looked at her cab companion. Extending a hand, she smiled. "I'm Adira Perses. Pleased to meet you."

Before stepping into the car, Senri leaned into the seat next to the driver's and passed the man a slip of paper. The driver unfolded the folded sheet, scanning the words. Most presumably, it had his address listed to which the driver nodded to acknowledge it. After the driver's confirmation, Senri slid into the back seat behind the girl. It was a great deal less of a hassle when neither of them had to go through the trouble of packing their luggage.
When she introduced herself to be Adira, Senri easily found himself returning the polite greeting. "Senri Cross. I'm equally pleased to meet you." Senri shook her hand for a brief moment, and reclined into the seat afterward. "What was your business at the airport?" It was better to have a conversation, even if it was shallow, then to let it subside into awkward silence.

"Not pleasure, unfortunately. Running a few family errands in Milan. How about yourself?" There was a reason her father was incredibly good at what he did. He prided himself on personal and friendly relations, and sometimes that meant his lovely daughter delivering messages. She noticed that the other boy hadn't packed heavily either, which piqued her interest. It must have been a short trip on his end as well.
The cab lurched forward, navigating through the somewhat heavy airport traffic. It wasn't long before it had escaped the gridlock and moved into the highway. It was a bit awkward sharing a cab, but small chit chat was something that she was used to.

"Mm." The male didn't seem too concerned about the awkwardness of the close proximity in their cab. Or at the very least, Senri couldn't be considered 'shy'.
Errands? Looking at her cocktail dress, Senri could guess the general idea. "I'm sure that whoever had you show up on their doorstep must have been happy to see such a beautiful woman." He couldn't help but compliment people, accompanying it with a knowing smile.
When she asked of his business, he answered the question easily, "I was doing a photo shoot in France." France and Milan within Italy was fairly close to each other. Senri had one or two previous occasions to visit Italy, having seen the capital of the small country as well. "I've heard that Italy is a nice place." He hadn't seen Milan, but he had read about it in his textbooks when he was still a student. Milan was easy to like, having been a place of diverse specializations. Maybe he would visit it one day if he had the opportunity to do so.
He was looking out the window, staring at the familiar scenery. But it hadn't affected his attention span in the least, when he asked, "I hope you had a chance to enjoy the sights at least?"
He slid a smile to Adira, his blue gaze focused on her. "At least to suffice, both of our trips were short and easy. Although I confess that airplanes are not my favorite of transportations." The air pressure, long wait, and airplane food was less then appealing after all.
