Personality: A loner by nature, Vakim does not care to be around other Jedi and is not one to sit around when he could be training or on a mission. He is a sarcastic man with slightly aggressive tendencies and is minorly narcisistic. Vakim is very combat oriented, foregoing diplomacy after five minutes of talking and resorting to fear and intimidation to solve confrontations. The only time he is not threatening or or fighting someone is when he is inside the temple, which he believes to be his place of rest and, when he's not aiding in training younglings and padawans in lightsaber combat, is most often found meditating in one place or another. Though he is aggresive and combative, Vakim is a peaceful being at heart, he just believes in peace through combat.

Born an orphan on Dantooine, Vakim was discovered by a Jedi knight and taken to Corusant. There he was admitted into the Jedi Academy at age five and spent the next nine years as a youngling and padwan before being taken as an apprentice to a Quarren Jedi Knight. He progressed at an alarming pace in his studies and training. Vakim took and passed the Trials at age nineteen, becoming a Knight in the process and began taking on the most dangerous missions he could to prove himself to himself. He has become reputed as one of the best combatants of his time.
