The Ten Haven Commandments
1. All Mercenaries are expected to follow the Gaia ToS and the Gaia Rules and Regulations when acting within the Haven.
2. All Mercenaries are expected to abide by the Mercenary Code and the Terms of Contract when acting within the Haven.
3. RP ranks will to be respected within the Haven, and every Mercenary who participates in the Haven will represent their respective ranks properly and maintain the expectations of RP efficiency set to their rank. Failure to do so on a consistent bases may result in a demotion of RP rank. You have been warned.
4. Absolutely NO Munching in any of its various forms is tolerated within the Haven. For a clear definition of Munching and its forms, I redirect you here: AMP.
5. The Haven is a Role-Play only subforum. No discussion threads, no game threads, and no hangout/chat threads are allowed to be posted within the Haven, they belong in the Parlor. Bar/Inn/Social role-plays are of course permitted. Any improper thread posted or any post made without role-play content OUTSIDE of OOC will be deleted in a swift manner. You have been warned.
6. Any member of the Mercenary League is allowed to post a role-play of any kind. However, all content of the RP itself must abide by the expected efficiency of the creator’s RP rank. As always, all RP's and the content inside it will maintain a strict PG13 level.
7. Creator’s are allowed to set a restriction on their RP's by RP rank, meaning any member below the specified rank of the RP are restricted from applying to it and posting within it. Members ranked the same or higher than the RP’s preferred rank are allowed to apply. When applying to a RP, remember your rank and the rank specified, and also remember that creator’s are allowed to deny any member from their RP for whatever their reasons. RP's unmarked by a set rank are regarded as open to everyone.
8. LIMITED OOC is allowed within any RP, unless otherwise specified by the creator. Any extended OOC discussions (over 6 points or more) should be moved to the main OOC thread or the RP's individual thread in the Parlor to avoid clutter with OOC content. All OOC limitations are up to the discretion of the creator.
Concerning OOC threads: Initially, RP's will use the main OOC thread located in the Parlor for their OOC needs. However, if a role-play becomes popular enough (above ten joined members or fifteen pages total), they are allowed to make their own thread in the Parlor for RP OOC. We’ve done this to limit OOC thread clutter in the Parlor to only the role-plays who we feel would need their own threads. Any OOC thread created before the ten member/fifteen page mark will be deleted from the Parlor. You have been warned.
9. If a dispute arises between members concerning something that happens in a RP, it should be brought to the creator of the role-play’s attention first. If the creator cannot settle the dispute in a timely manner, or needs aid settling the dispute, it should be brought before the RP Haven Mod and the respective Heads of the Research and Development Department. If it continues to be unsettled after it’s been brought to the Haven Mod and other respectable figures, it will be brought before the Crew for Crew ruling. Upon the Crew’s interference and ruling over the dispute, the outcome of said dispute will be respected by all members involved.
10. All member submitted content within a RP must abide by the specific limitations/detailsset by the creator and the AMP. Exceptions concerning RP characters, direction of plot, and story content are up to the creator’s discretion, and will be enforced by the Haven Mod should something some up. Consistent failure to abide by the limitations set by the creator may result in the demotion of role-play rank. You have been warned.
Breaking the rules:
Failure to abide by any of these rules when acting within the role-play Haven will result in the following. The first infraction of a rule will result in a warning, and the appropriate suggestions to avoid breaking the rule again. The second infraction will result in a demotion of either role-play rank or Armeekorps rank, or both if the situation calls for such action. The third infraction of the same rule will result in a warning of ban. The forth infraction will result in ban. If you break multiple rules over a period of time, you’ll receive multiple warnings. If any of those rules are broken a second time, you’ll receive a demotion, and so on.
The rules are the law of which all members who participate within the Haven must abide. Failure to do so will result in whatever consequences higher figures agree are reasonable. You have been warned.
