Okay, so, Otakon is THIS WEEKEND.
I get to go get my badge tomorrow. My boyfriend is coming down and everything!
I want to know...
WHO'S GONNA BE THERE?!
I won't be going to the Gaia panel (it gets too crazy there!) but we could always arrange an SG meetup!

HEAVENSDARK AND I WERE GOING TO GO.
BUT NOW WE'RE NOT.
Every other convention I've gone to have sold badges both per-day OR per-weekend. I wasn't aware that Otakon did not follow this standard OR that the price was 75 bucks for the whole weekend!
PLUS my parents claimed that 3 1/2 hours was "too far" of a drive, and forbade us from going unless we got a hotel room, which at that point meant that for TWO DAYS of the convention we were going to be running around 120 bucks each... which is too expensive.
Next year we'll be preregistering early, getting a hotel room early, and getting more people to come with us.
