 Kotone sighed softly to herself, a soft song coming from her lips as she waited. She had been determined to polish her voice for him, to make it the best it could possibly be. Jupiter. The one who had promised to be her body guard, to sing with her while they made their fame. Well, made his fame and brought hers back. He promised not to let her be hurt again, and for whatever reason she trusted him. Sitting on the bow of a ruined ship, her tail flicked in rhythm to her soft song.

 As he was usually found, a clear tenor song stunned through the water as Jupiter headed to the meeting place. Today, the song was upbeat and cheerful, like his mood. Kotone and Jupiter: singing sensation. Or would it be Jupiter and Kotone? He was pretty awesome, and handsome to boot, maybe his name should be first? Well... she was rather good looking herself. Actually... she was very pretty. Pretty darn hot. And once her voice was renewed- oh man!
He laughed and did a few loops in the water and swam a bit faster. He didn't want to keep her waiting. And there was the old boat! And there she was, waiting like she'd said. "There you are!" He said, swimming in a corkscrew path toward her to show off a little. It was in his blood. "Did I keep you waiting long?"

Kotone stopped singing the moment he came into sight and smiled softly, watching him as he came up to her. She... had been waiting on him all day. But she didn't want to admit that. In all honesty, she really hadn't been thinking too much about their fame. More about the travels and the fun they would have singing together. Jupiter put a sort of confidence into her she hadn't had before. Though humbled, she still wanted to shine.
"No, you haven't kept me waiting long at all." Her voice was clear, in near perfect harmony with his. She couldn't help but look him over every time she saw him. He seemed to only get more handsome. Pushing herself off of the ship, she swam in a loose circle around him. "Well, how will we practice today?"

Smiling with pleasure, he unconciously gave his muscles a flex, something he tended to do without thinking when he felt someone was looking at him.
"Good. Mustn't keep a lady waiting as they say." He remained still as Kotone circled him, assuming that she was looking him over. Didn't all females do that where he was concerned? He put a finger to his lip at her question. "We've made a lot of progress, so I'm thinking we can go more complex with our lyrics and patterns." He grinned. "We'll go from our high pitches to our low pitches, up and down a few times in quick succession."

Kotone stopped behind Jupiter, swimming silently up next to him. He hadn't missed a day of meeting her yet... That showed he had dedication. Though no dangers had come into play yet to see if he would hold true to protecting her. He did look very strong... Kotone tore her eyes from his muscles to look at the back of his head and smile.
"This probably isn't the best place to practice, though. It's not very open here." She wanted an excuse to find a nicer place to be with him at, though she wasn't sure where that place was.

Looking around the area, he nodded. "Sure, wherever you like then." He smirked, turning to face her. "Would you like to find somewhere new or go to one of the usual places?" He tilted his head to think about the places they'd already been to practice. Maybe a new place would be good to practice in.

Kotone eagerly took his hand, grinning. "Let's find a new place." Her eyes were alight, she had missed the life of traveling. "I don't care where we go, really. I just want to explore." She laughed a little, excited. They had never really gone far from their meeting place before.

Squeezing her hand, his smile went a little goofy. "So, you mean, you want a free day? Just to hang out and explore?" She wanted to hang out with him, not just get lessons....
He looked around excitedly, wondering where to go. Maybe someplace...... quiet? "How about this way?" He said, tugging her in a direction.

She blushed a little. "If that's alright with you, that is." She liked singing with him. And thanks to him, her body had remembered how to sing in a way she had once forgotten. He made her feel warm again. Eagerly, she followed him, her trust almost fully in him. "Alright. Where ever your gut tells you to go is usually the best places."

He laughed and did a little somersault. "Of course it's okay! I mean-" he chuckled bashfully. "we have been working hard. I'd say a fun day is about due!"
As they reached more open waters, the coral below thickened, providing a comforting display to see. "Ah... open water always tastes fresher, don't you think?"

She giggled softly. "You're right, we really have done a lot lately." Kotone looked at the coral below them, struck by the colors for a moment. It seems like after living in the sea all her life, she would be used to it. But how could you get used to so many colors?
She grinned at him, blushing a little as she realized he was colored similarly to the coral. She took in a deep breath of the water. "It tastes like so many different things.." She closed her eyes, taking it in for just a moment before giving him another warm smile. It was quiet and peaceful here.

Swimming just a bit further, Jupiter spotted an outcropping of rocks. "How about we break here for a minute." He said, leading Kotone down to the worn stone. Fish swam through and around the cracks and tunnels the rock created, playing with each other and finding food.

Kotone willingly followed him, gently sitting herself down on the rocks. She waited for him to sit down next to her, watching the fish for just a moment. Slowly, she brought her light eyes to look at him again. "..Jupiter? Thank you."

Settling next to his new friend, he watched the playful scene contently. Looking over at Kotone, he grinned and nodded. "Sure, you're welcome." He turned back to the fish before a confused frown flicked onto his face. "Eh... for what?" His darker eyes caught Kotone's pale gems. What'd he do? ...Well, other than be his awesome self.

Kotone held his eyes with hers. "For giving me someone to trust. I thought everyone would be the same, but you proved me wrong... thank you for that." Her smile was both warm and serious. He had opened her up and gotten her to sing again. "I probably never would have sang again..."
