Yeah, I'm pretty late on these chapters. Anyways, not much happened content wise in either of these chapters, though 160 did reward us with a nice moment.
Chapter 159 is fairly short. Not much happens aside from the wrap-up of the fighting with the thugs. Ren looked ready to kill, but was snapped out of it last minute by Kyoko. Ren himself asked "Who am I" and mentioned a black devil inside of him. It was a little heartbreaking actually.
Chapter 160 is much longer in comparison. This chapter returns the dangerous siblings to their shared apartment/hotel room/wherever. Humorously, Ren had swapped out the pants Kyoko told him to replace with a bunch of other outfits. xD Guess Setsu just can't win against her brother. We saw a small glimpse of some event that probably happened in Ren's dark past, as he stares blankly at a broken watch that he apparently always wears. It's probably a reminder of something. Needless to say, Ren is fairly messed up over losing control like that. On the other, more fluffier side of things, Kyoko ends up walking in on Ren showering. whee Probably the only exciting thing in this chapter, and a good departure from Ren's brooding.
I can only hope that the next coming chapters have more fun Ren and Kyoko moments. And at the same time, I can't help but wonder what was Ren's present. I hope the mangaka hasn't forgotten, or that the actual reveal will feel super anti-climactic.
