So to tie in with our new contest about Paranormal Investigating we are going to have this weeks discussion be about the paranormal. Do you believe in ghosts and spirits? Do you believe because you've had an experience or do you just believe? What kinds of experiences have you had? Any information given by someone in this discussion may be used towards your investigation as long as you have their permission to use it.

This is a great idea! I always had a knack and a liking for the paranormal. So I just wanted to see what others believe and what others can find dealing with the paranormal. Plus when I was younger I had some experience with the paranormal. I can't wait to see some of the responses to this discussion, and I hope it can be used towards the investigation contest!

Yes, I do believe in ghosts and spirits. They ARE very real~
I've had my great deal of paranormality, my whole family has really, however, my family are quite the spiritual folk. :]
A lot of our experiences comes from my HEAVY native american ancestry on both my mother and father's side, mainly maternal.
On my mother's side, which I hold accountable for the most is because my Grandma (mom's mom) is Navajo- big on practices, evil stuff, spirits, all that jazz. She also had premonitions when bad things would happen. My Grandfather (mom's dad) was also spiritual, he was a 33rd degree Mason- my mom was also an Eastern Star/Witch :]
So there's bloodline for sure. Love my family.
When I was younger, I had a sixth sense of 'presence and perception'. Even today, I can tell when someone presence or aura will be near me before they do most times.

I don't know whether or not you have this gift too, but she was able to make anyone feel better no matter what the circumstances. It's why she was one of my best friends in Cavonia.

I think Romani women- Gypsies, are pretty :] Yes, people tend to come to me a lot for support, or that I always brighten their day by a simple smile, gesture, or just something nice. As far as I know, I don't have any Native American blood in me. Both my parents had the sixth sense though, so I was doomed from birth.

Anyway I definitely believe in the paranormal. My best friend has had some interesting experiences, some good and some not so good. She can see spirits and sense things, it gets sorta scary sometimes. o.o She's had a few premonitions as well.

Doing alright now though, anyways you are just like Butterflee in a lot of ways!

well being the type of gift i have ( seeing the deceased and having dreams) i cant ignore the supernatural. i totally believe in spirits and for me it started as i was a little kid. i dont know much about my families supernatural history but i know my mom is can sense and feel them she sometime also has dreams. my gift is a little more powerful. it started when i was three when i approached my mom and asked her for a rueban snadwhich with tomateo and extra mustard grandpa said to put butter in the saurkraut. the catch was my grandfather had been dead for 4 years and i was 3 and they never told me about him because they didnt want to confuse me. that was the biggest hint to my mother. after that it only got more pronounced as i got older. i see my grandfather somewhat on a regular basis sense he always is guiding me. less now because i dont get scared anymore but when i was younger. he was around me.
