"Iwwy! Over dere! Wook!" Seth said for what felt like the billionth time as they made their way down the street PACKED with people. On any normal day there was what felt like a manageable crowd of people that swarmed the stands but not today. Today it felt like everyone and their cousins decided to go and visit the street filled with vendors of all kinds. And usually Seth didn't get on her nerves but today, Ily was extremely irritated and found it far more annoying than what was usual. This was because one, the loud chatter and two, she hated it when people crowded around her. Call her claustrophobic or whatever else, it didn't make her anger subside any more.
Which was why she was forcefully shoving through the crowd and snarling angrily at anyone that dared give her an angry look. What? It wasn't HER fault they all decided to just STAND there in her way to freedom or a stand she could stay at for longer than ten seconds. "Iwwy?" Seth asked again, this time softer as he noticed his sister's anger and rage at the crowd of people. Usually he paired it with the usual crowd stuff that went on but today... Today was different. She seemed far angrier than usual based on how far people were shoved. At least she wasn't THROWING them...
"Sorry, I hate crowds and PEOPLE THAT DON'T MOVE THEIR GODDAMN ASSES!" Ily snapped, elbowing someone out of the way and finally moving over to what appeared to be an open area in front of a random stand. It was better than nothing and she seriously needed some air before she just exploded on the idiots out there. Last time that happened... Well... Lets say she wasn't allowed in a certain store anymore. It wasn't like the guy was seriously hurt or anything, just a few bruises and a concussion. At least the guy wasn't DEAD or bleeding on the outside.
Seth just sighed as he slowly climbed down from his sister's shoulders and onto the ground, admiring what lay around him. His hand gripped Ily's hand, careful not to let go. It was their system during times like this. Either Seth was on her shoulders or holding her hand, that way they didn't get separated and Damon chasing down whomever happened to take the other child.

The busiest days of the week were the best days for pillaging - that being the word of the week for Gabriel Avenue. The young spawn kept himself surprisingly silent as he walked slowly past a small stand selling one-of-a-kind blown glass trinkets and the like. With a subtle, shifty movement of his green-tipped fingers, he stole a small glass butterfly from the table, skirting away with an innocent smile on his face, already long-gone by the time anyone noticed the missing trinket.
It was at that point that he pulled the small item out from the deep pocket of his large, blue pirate's coat, holding it up to the light. The small item was almost completely clear, yet it somehow managed to hold every colour of the rainbow in the ways that the light refracted through it. Gabriel smiled softly as he slowly lowered the delicate butterfly, eyes lowering with it before they snagged on a gem much more colourful and eye-catching than any glass trinket.
Red eyes widened when they settled upon the girl, heart fluttering in a surprising way at simply a glance of the female, however angry she may seem. He was accustomed to that by now, between his brother and the remainder of the gang members, anger was not an uncommon thing. His eyes stayed locked on her, expression more shocked than happy at that point as his tail swayed back and forth behind him. It wasn't until she let the small snake boy slip from her shoulders that he devised a plan to be able to improve her life with his presence, a rather devious smile tugging up the edges of his lips.
Slipping a hand into his other pocket, he produced a lolipop, no part of his mind realizing how creepy what he was doing may be considered. He knelt to the ground, tipping his large, gold-fringed hat to shade his face as he held the candy out as soon as the toddler's eyes fell on him while the girl's were elsewhere. He smiled softly, nodding for the boy to come in his direction, still holding the candy out. The distance between himself and the other was still large, thus it may take a moment for the boy to actually find him, but it was worth a shot, right? After all, to be introduced to that pretty, pretty girl that the little boy was with...
Sigh...

Seth looked around curiously at the people and varying stalls for a while, not really paying attention to who they were or what they were selling. At least, till his purple eyes came across a child dressed as a pirate. The costume was probably enough to get his attention and pull the toddler away, but the pirate seemed to be determined. Well, judging by the sugary candy he held out invitingly to the sloth toddler.
A sucker..? Well... It wouldn't hurt to go over and say hi right? It wasn't as if the other kid was going to kidnap him or something while offering candy. Slowly, Seth released Ily's hand and snaked over with a happy smile on his face.
"Hewwo~ Dat fow me?" he asked, just in case. When one lived with Damon and Ily, they quickly realized that just because it appeared to be offered didn't mean it was. Or that you were the intended recipient for said offered item or, in rare cases, it was being used in a prank. But the strange pirate boy seemed nice and sincere so it had to be the real deal, right?
Besides, he was a PIRATE. "I Seth. Who yoo?" Seth asked, peering curiously at the older child.

A slow, broad grin spread over Gabriel's face as the small snake boy's hand slid away from the female's. The serpentine child wound through the crowd and his kidnapper felt a momentary pang of guilt. He was stealing someone's younger... relation for the sake of having a chance to talk to a very attractive female. Really, had he sunk so low as to be on par with his father's entire gang family? ...actually, he wasn't sinking low at all. For that matter, he was taking the talents that he'd been taught by one of the Fours and improving upon them greatly. Besides, he wouldn't get caught; he'd made sure that she hadn't cast her eyes upon him even once in the time that he'd been luring the boy closer.
"MmHmm. 'Courthe it'th for you!" Gabriel replied brightly, seeming oblivious to how grating his awkward, high-pitched, poorly spoken words were. He pulled the wrapper off the top of the lolipop and offered it to the boy once again, tossing the piece of paper-plastic off to the side. "Unleth you don't want it?" he questioned, tipping his head to the side a bit.
When asked who he was, Gabriel grinned brightly, standing tall once again, though he wasn't a whole lot taller than the little naga-boy. "My name'th Gabriel Avenue," he stated happily, tail flicking a bit, ears and headwings perking up as he removed his frilly black hat, wrapped one arm around his front and one around the back, bending at the middle to bow to the young bow, keeping eye contact just as he'd been taught. He then stood once again, flipping the hat back upward and onto his head, grinning happily. "Nithe to meet you, Theth- er, The- Thhh- Er... Nithe to meet you. Tho, who'th that girl that you were with?"

Seth squeaked happily and took the lolipop, popping it into his mouth almost instantly. It was probably the best thing he had had that day so far. It was made far better since a pirate kid gave it to him so freely. "Tanks! Vewwy nice o' yew," he thanked, tail tip flicking back and forth happily. It certainly didn't take a whole lot to make the sloth spawn happy.
"Gabwiel Av'nue," Seth said slowly, attempting to pronounce the strange syllables and name. Being young and new to such things, it was all in all rather difficult but he managed it... sorta. "Nice t' mee' chu tew~ An' my sissy? Dat's Iwwy. Why?" he asked, not realizing that the only reason Gabriel might want him to come over and give him a sucker would involve some sort of elaborate plan and evading Ily. But, with her raging against everyone around her, who wouldn't?
And of course, she had yet to realize her brother had run off. This was mostly due to someone shoving past and setting off her slowly dissolving anger. Eventually, Seth knew, she would calm down and be her old hyper loving self again. Once the people were gone anyways...

When the boy took the lolipop with no kind of hesitation, that ever-growing smile only becoming larger on his face. Had the male been older, there would be a high likelihood that passer-bys would wonder whether or not his lolipop happened to have ulterior motives or was laced with chloroform, especially considering the slightly crazed Cheshire grin on his green-speckled face. Gently, he fluffed the feathers on the small naga's head before tugging the boy a bit closer by his shoulders, making sure he was staying out of the way of blind, inconsiderate people. He blinked his red eyes at the way his name was said, but shrugged it off regardless. "Clothe enough."
His green, horned tail flicked back and forth behind him as he glanced around, making sure that the technicolour female hadn't wandered off. Surely, she had to be of the same blood at his brother, at least half of it, but which half? And he would certainly not approve of her in that case... Curses, his plan was already unraveling after it had been formed. Pouting softly and only half-listening to Seth for the sake of hearing the girl's name; he gently ruffled the toddler's hair once again, an idle gesture as he made sure to repeat his plans a few more times.
"Wath jutht wondering 'bout her," he said absentmindedly, butterfly headwings tipping back while his ears perked up, making sure that she hadn't quite yet noticed that he was gone. Best to start looking like they were looking for her. Which... was actually what they had to do; the preteen, at least from their height, had completely vanished from view at this point, causing his eyes to widen and his ears to drop with his wings. Shaking his head, he chuckled awkwardly and took Seth's hand, tugging him gently. "Shoot, I dun'no where she went... did you thee?"

Seth paused in his licking of the lollipop to look around. After several quick sweeps the color drained from his face. "I... I... Iwwy?" he sniffed, shrinking into the coil of his tail a bit. Ily hadn't left him in the crowded marketplace, had she? No! She always promised to come after him! And... and... But where was she? Tears threatened to emerge as the sloth boy realized just how alone he was among the hundreds of strangers.
"Iwwy... Sissy gone!" Seth wailed, the lolli and boy completely forgotten as his terror at being forgotten overwhelmed him. Tears rolled down the sloth spawn's green-freckled face only to be wiped away moments later. With his vision obscured by tears, he completely missed the pair of neon boots that moved through the crowd farther in as well as the familiar calling of his name over the general chatter of everyone else.
Of course, Ily wouldn't just leave her brother at the market for anything mostly because of Damon's reaction to her coming home empty handed and no brother in sight. Which was why she was panicking and shoving people around in a frenzy trying to find the little naga boy. She even asked those kind enough to question why she was freaking out so much as to the location of the boy to no avail. Great. She was stuck in a crowd alone and brother-less. It made her want to scream and punch things in frustration.

And there went his plan.
Gabriel's blood red eyes got wide at the panicking of the little boy, squeaking in surprise when the male began to cry. Shoot!! Biting his lip gently, he knelt down and pet the little one's hair, looking around the marketplace frantically, sure that she couldn't have gone far, and wouldn't have gone far without her brother. Right? Well, he couldn't be completely sure. After all, his brother went around without him all the time, and usually hated it when Gabriel actually went anywhere with him. Whining to himself, he pouted, looking around once again, only for that same pair of neon boots that Seth missed to grab his attention immediately. There was no chance that those boots wouldn't perfectly match the pretty neon girl he had seen earlier.
"Shh, Theth, it'th okay, I think I found her," Gabriel said, a little louder than necessary considering the crowd. Taking the boy's hand tightly in his, he tugged the smaller one after him in the direction that the boots had disappeared in. She had to be there, she had to be! If he could have, he would have lifted the small boy into his arms, but considering that the naga was about his same height if you counted the tail, it was unlikely that he would be able to do so. Unfortunately, that only made his life harder. Still with the small child in tow, he realized that he had lost her again, eyes growing worried until he flat-out collided with those same legs wearing those same neon boots, falling backward onto the hard ground with a soft 'oof'.

Seth sniffled and followed Gabriel, teary-eyed and barely noticing where he was going. Most of his concentration was on keeping his tail as close as possible so as to not get stepped on so when the boy ran into Ily, her voice came as a shock. "IWWY!" Seth wailed, latching onto her neon-colored boots despite the snarl she let loose at being bumped into.
Ily gasped, realizing it was Seth and another, slightly older child that had ran into her legs and not some irritating crowd member. "SETH! Ohmygodyoufoundhim!" the girl gasped, crouching down to hug and pet the poor, sobbing toddler in an attempt to calm the poor soul. "Shh, it's ok Seth, I'm here. No need to cry," she murmured soothingly, gently picking the toddler up. Thankfully, they were on the fringes of the crowd and thus in no immediate danger of being trampled.
"And you!" Ily's gaze flashed over to where Gabriel was, eyeing him curiously. "You found him and I cannot say thank you enough!" she continued with a happy and very relieved grin on her face. Releasing Seth, the pre-teen pulled the boy close into a huge hug, possibly crushing a few ribs in the process. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" she giggled, eventually releasing the poor child to dot on Seth, checking to make sure he was essentially fine despite the tears that still poured from his eyes. At least he had stopped actively crying, only sniffling now and again.

Gabriel grumbled softly for a moment from his place on the ground, wincing at the growl that had his headwings instinctively laying back against his head, waiting for some kind of attack, red eyes pressed shut. When the attack didn't come, he hesitantly opened one of his eyes, then the other, blinking a couple times in surprise. Well, it was surprise at first. Then... then it was awe. From afar, her beauty had seemed something great, but... but up close, she was... she was...
Magnificent.
Gaping like a dying fish, the pride spawn slowly eased himself onto his feet, wobbling a bit when his vision fuzzed from the sudden changes in altitude. Regardless, he was still unable to pull his eyes away from the sight of this girl, an object that he had only pined for from afar, planning and plotting a way to gain her favour. His brother thought he was stupid. The gang said he was stupid. He would have never guessed that this plan would have... would have actually worked. There was no way!!
That was what was running through his head a moment before she turned to him, and he stiffened, afraid that her statement was one in anger. That was a moment before he was suddenly wrapped up in the wrath girl's arms, being crushed so tightly that he was afraid his lungs would never decompress. When he was released, his face was bright red beneath the green scales that dotted his face like freckles. Grinning in an adorably sheepish way, he rolled his shoulders nonchalantly, trying not to look to pleased with himself. "W-well, it'th the leatht I could do, really. After all, I couldn't juth- jussst let him be lost and alone, could I...?"

Ily giggled. This kid was pretty cute, wasn’t he? “You could have, but I’m glad you didn’t. What’s your name? I’m sure you already know Seth’s… I’m Ilyrosa, by the way, but you can call me Ily. Or Rosa, I’m not picky really about nicknames,” she replied, speaking at a relatively faster pace than most while still remaining understandable somehow. A miraculous feat, that was for sure. Thankfully she had broken out of the habit of speaking so fast no one could understand her without getting the feeling of speaking in slow motion when the girl slowed her speech down.
“Wait, are you lost too? And did you come from the facility?” Ily asked, suddenly curious about the boy now that Seth had finally calmed down and, true to his sloth DNA, fell dead asleep with a sucker resting in his mouth. An adorable sight, although easily duplicated when the boy tended to fall asleep whenever comfortable, tired, bored, or overly warm. The wrath girl took a glance around the bustling, and thinning, crowd. She didn’t see a single parent watching nearby and Damon had rarely let her run off alone when she was the boy’s age… Gah! She sounded like someone’s mother, not a girl who partied at night and broke kids’ noses for pissing her off. Yuck. “Wait… I remember you… Your Fifth’s kid…” It had taken the wrath spawn a moment to remember those little instances where they had been mentioned or been nearby. Strange… Guess the world really was a small place after all.

Gabriel was certainly stuck in a bit of a haze, his arrogance seeming to have been forgotten as he basked in the light of his newfound beauty. Of course, his patience DNA allowed his ears to pick up each and every word that fell out of Ilyrosa’s mouth, slowing them down a bit so that he actually managed to understand and process what it was she was saying. Her name was Ilyrosa then. Ily. Rosa. As beautiful as the girl, herself. A soft, enamored sigh fell past his lips, though he hadn’t intended the sound, brought back into life when he remembered what she had been asking him.
Right; he had a name, too!! Wait, but… was he lost? And from the Facility? Eek! She was asking way too many questions for him to keep up with, his red eyes slowly widening further and further as she continued to speak too quickly for him to get a word in edgewise. Lucky for him, the statement she ended on gave him a good starting point for where he could talk from.
“Right. Yeth, Fifth ith my dad,” Gabriel said simply, a smile on his green-speckled face as his tail flicked gently behind him. “Altho, to anthwer the retht of your quethtionth: No, I’m not lotht. I come here every day that the fair’th thet up, and I know thethe thtreetth better than motht grown-upth. Yeth, I’m from the Fathility, too; my combination ith pride and patienthe. And latht but motht thertainly not leatht, my name…” he ended this grandiosely, taking the pirate hat off of his head, wrapping his arm around his middle and bowing deeply, free arm stretching out to the side. “…ith Gabriel Avenue. It’th a pleasure to meet you.”

Ily giggled softly at the grand ending and bow Gabriel performed, finding him incredibly cute, not at all missing the soft sigh he emitted. "It's nice to meet you too, Gabriel. You're patience? Hm, so is Seth. How odd we should run into you, then. Once again I'm eternally grateful you found him. Is there anything I can do to repay you?" she asked, glancing around anxiously. The shops were already closing up so it wasn't like she could buy him a gift in return.
She could, however, walk with him back to wherever he lived or perhaps walk to the nearest shop and buy him an ice cream cone. Money wasn't exactly an issue when Damon tended to shove a wad of fives at her for a daily allowance to cover both of them. That meant meals and bus fares or entrance fees, but that also meant the man generally expected SOME money back. "Although we should be getting home, as should you. It's getting late," Ily added, adjusting Seth on her back. Yes he was light, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt when an elbow dug into her shoulder blade.

Gabriel was perfectly content to receive all of the praise from his beautiful Ilyrosa, tail flicking back and forth like that of a happy puppy. When he was offered some kind of repayment, he shook his head, headwings tipping back gently. "No, it'th fine. I'm happy jutht to help~" Well, yeah, he was also happy to be receiving the large amount of praise that the female was giving to him. It made him feel warm and kind of as though he could melt. It was a nice feeling.
"Oh... well, you're prob'ly right," Gabriel said with a slight smile, glancing at the sky, where the light was just starting to disappear from the sky. It seemed that the crowd was starting to thin on top of that, meaning that he wouldn't have to wrestle his way out of the market, but he was also less likely 'happen upon' someone's lost wallet. Regardless, it was worth it to have met this girl... "It wath nithe to meet you, Ilyrotha."

Ilyrosa simply nodded and straightened up, glancing around in hopes of finding the bus that brought them to the market in the first place. Unfortunately, it was already speeding off into the distance, meaning she'd have to either run and catch it at the next stop or wait for the next one.
"T'was nice to meet you too Gabriel. See ya later and thanks again for finding my brother," she replied, waving back to the boy as she made her way across the street, taking off down the sidewalk at top speed as soon as her shoe touched it. Seconds later she was out of sight, tracking down the bus home.
