I'd just tell your friend to back off and leave her alone. If she wants to play everything wrong, go ahead and let her. If he's being obnoxious about the girl's playing, he needs to stop or change his attitude when he lets her know what's wrong.
If she's the one just playing wrong, knowing it, and not doing anything to correct herself, and being a jerk when he tries to point it out to her nicely, then he should just back off and ignore her. Yeah, it's really annoying when people play stuff wrong OVER AND OVER (seriously, I was the only second flute of the three in the top band that could play my part), but he needs to learn to ignore it and be happy he's playing correctly.

I feel the opposite. If the entire band is playing and she doesn't play the key signature, she should be corrected. Not saying he should be obnoxious about it, but he should point it out to her so she doesn't keep doing it. Just one person playing wrong notes can mess up the entire sound of the band. Believe me, I've heard it before. If she repeatedly misses a not, he should also point it out to her, but if it was only one time then he should keep quiet.
Tell your girl friend straight up that she has temper issues. If the guy in your section is politely pointing out some note or piece issues, or at least in a way that isn't provoking, then she shouldn't be cussing at him. Even if he is being annoying, she shouldn't make herself look just as bad if not worse by throwing a fit. & if she's like that to the entire band, that's not right.
Just one person playing incorrectly can make the whole band sound wrong.

Just one person playing incorrectly can make the whole band sound wrong.this. you and your friend should stop being so sensitive about your playing. if you're playing incorrectly, you're playing incorrectly. if you're playing incorrectly and you KEEP playing incorrectly, someone should correct you. band isn't about "you" it's not about how you feel. it's not about having your ego stroked by having everyone tell you how wonderful you are at your instrument. it's about getting better at your instrument and it's about "the band". if you sound bad, the band sounds bad. you need to be able to realize that even if someone is being slightly rude about fixing your mistakes, they're still better than you because they're trying to make the band sound better. if you throw a hissy-fit because you don't think someone has the right to tell you that you're doing something wrong, then no matter how annoying that person is, YOU'RE the one that should stop, not them.

She's obviously selfish, and honestly, she needs to get the living hell out of band. Bands dont need stuck up ******* like that who can't even validate their argument, and if shes playing wrong, then obviously she has an attitude problem. What I would do is annoy the living **** out of her until she breaks, cries, and runs out of the rehearsal. It's what's right... If she wants to be selfish and think of only her playing (NOT THE ENTIRE BAND) Then honestly, make her life miserable. I know it sounds passive aggressive, but it's true. People like that should just quit.
Also, she seems very VERY Egotistical. I don't suggest getting your hopes up. Just pray that she just leaves and decides to just quit.

I think you should confront them, and tell them to back off. I know what it is like to be in between friends, and it's a horrible feeling. Just tell them how you feel.
