So, I'm sure everyone has met someone who is psychic on some level, I know I have. So, this topic is to chat about either our own PERSONAL experiences, or of experiences we have had with another person.

Personally, I'm somewhat psychic, though I'm dependent. What I mean is, that I use the tarot to channel my abilities. I don't think I've ever done a reading that was wrong. But without them....I'm not the best at predictions. There are some times that I have a prediction out of the blue, and it's dead on, but it's rare. My fiancée on the other hand...it's kind of scary. We like to play this game, where we'll take a full deck of cards, and I'll look at the card, and he has to predict what it is. We predict the suit and number. He get's BOTH right 7/10 times, and he always guesses at least the suit correctly. It's kind of creepy, but cool at the same time. He has dreams too, and since I'm good with dream interpretations, I've found that they tend to be about things that are soon to happen.

My youngest sister is a mind reader, I SWEAR. She always seems to know what people are thinking, especially those close to her. I remember when we were little she could ALWAYS find where our grandparents hid our things (like if we got them taken away for being bad). And they hid our things in the most obscure places.

Just an interesting thought and I figured it would make for a good discussion. smile

If you mean "Why does the fence repel it?" then I don't think anyone here can really give you that answer. You live there and don't know. I can give you a basic idea. Someone may have put some sort of protection spell over it, or perhaps while that "spirit" was alive, it was either afraid of crossing that fence or something similar. I have never seen this spirit, dealt with it, felt its presence, nor do I know the history of your home to be able to give you any real idea as to why it is repelled by it.

If you want to be rid of the evil "spirit" I suggest simply telling it to go away. Though if it does have "evil" intentions, it might not be so simple. Sorry I can't be of more help, more details would help me to give better advice.

When I was 4 my great great grandmother died and we moved to Georgia. For several years I would go out on the back deck and just start talking to her. With my mom, that landed me in several years of therapy. Then when I was 10 my cat died, it had been put up to me whether or not she would be put down. I hated seeing her in pain so we put her down. Even to this day when I curl up on the couch I can feel her curl up beside me under the covers. There have been many more like that and it doesn't really scare me. But I do use a spirit board occasionally, and almost everyday I use my tarot cards.

And I know this will sound all Avatar-y
but I can bend fire slightly with no air blowing, I know there is a better magickal term for that but I really don't remember it

If the little girl is a murder victim, that doesn't necessarily mean the evil feeling one outside was her killer. It could very easily have been a father, or brother, or anyone close to her. Maybe they were trying to save her when he too was killed, and the anger and hate is because he couldn't make it in time. Maybe the fence was the only thing that had kept him from getting there in time to save her. It could be her killer, but that would make more sense if he was on the other side of the fence and trying to get AWAY. There are quite literally an endless amount of possibilities.

I tend to see/hear/sense spirits or [I used to be skeptic] demons. It's in my experience that psychics are like beacons of energy which draw things in. My mentor and group thinks it's a little odd, but they're of a different time than I [generation-wise]. They don't see it like that, but maybe I'm just wrong?

Agreed! I believe everyone has various paths to take in life, and I would dare say everything you do in life effects your path. Some in big ways, others in smaller ways. Whether you want to argue it is free will or destiny is up to your own judgement. With that said, no matter what a psychic sees for you or what the tarot cards say is subject to change. Whenever I do a tarot reading I feel like the cards are saying, this is what may happen if you continue to go as you are now.

And I think that what you are saying is true. Because the predictions weren't definite. Like she told a friend that she would have three kids, and she had two, and was pregnant with a third, but had a miscarrage. So she did get pregnant with three children, they just all didn't birth.

And then with husbands she never says a name or anything, just uses metaphors and such to describe them. So it's not completely set in stone, just glimpses of what can happen.

But I totally get the path based thing and how we are our own destinies and such.
