This is a [ PRP ] Private Roleplay
Enyeto Sioux (Kanove) and Castiel Zehaira (Enikil) are the participants.

Setting: A crowded hallway just after the bell for class to be over.

A teach standing taught at the head of the classroom muttered off meaningless squable as the anxious students eyed the ticking clock. His voice was the only thing interrupting the silence that the classroom possessed. No student dared hush him for the weight of his authority would come down upon them like a hammer, and they individually knew such.

The History Instructor knew well that the students were staring at the clock, for their eyes were staring straight above him, not at him. His mind kept on moving, uttering out random lines of text from the textbook that was spread before him.

Enyeto's own eyes were concentrated on the swaying trees surrounding the common building. He hated the dry, sappy taste of the building's air. No room calmed him and no space he was given made it feel anything like home. The Nateev native was used to spending his life outside in the wilderness, planting and harvesting.

It had been the only reason the boy had stolen a few seeds and planted himself a garden far in the trees. It was a secret little plot near the riverbed, disguised by overgrown grass. Nearly completely relaxed by his thoughts the sacrifice jumped and stared skeptically at the bell by the clock. It rang that it was time for lunch, and Enyeto knew that it meant time for his escape.

He hadn't, since the first day, dared to eat with the other students. They had already formed cliches or were off in their own little world. Many of them made him insecure of his safety, but he had been instructed by his Instructors that safety of was ultimate priority on Ciphar and no harm would become of him.

Doubting their faithless words he presented himself with a new form of security, nature. Since coming to Ciphar the boy had received a bow but had been instructed to leave it in the dorm, for it was not of need yet. It irritated him for the string had already begun to feel familiar to him but now it felt as foreign as a knife felt in a child's hand.

Strutting off the disappointment in the institution, the ranger made his way through a throng of students and pushed his way into the busting hall. It was filled with chatting groups as they hovered around and waited for the Cafe to open up. Once it opened, the halls would be abandoned. By then, Enyeto would be gone.

Unlike most students, shifting and fleeting glances towards the windows; there were a very very select few who were genuinely interested in what the teachers preached. The whispering wind through the lush trees becked no calling to one boy; who found the outdoors more foreign then the very building he sat in. Books and teachings were all he knew and for this, his love for literature and all things bookish were what he lived by.

As the bell made its shrill calling, the raven haired youth sat still, a book clutched in one pale hand. His slender fingers drummed over the spike of old leather bound book, brilliant turquoise eyes glued to said book. Castiel wouldn't remove himself from the classroom till all were gone, not wanting to get caught in the hustle and bustle of the rush out. Crowds made him nervous, the sheer amount of people made his stomach flop about. It took what little courage the small boy had to trek out among the other students, as he was a prime target to get himself pushed about.

Breathing in deeply once the classroom was empty besides himself and the teacher, he rose out of his seat. Giving the instructor a simple bow, he turned and picked up his things before exiting the room. There were still students milling about the hallways, none of which he stopped to speak with. It wasn't as if he was ignoring them, he just had no reason to socialize with them fore he had no idea who they were. Castiel clutched his book to his chest and ventured through the crowds, just wanting to find somewhere nice and quiet to continue his reading.

The bell sounded again.

It only rang twice this time, meaning that the Cafe doors had been opened for student entrance. Darting off down the hall the ranger slid his way blindly through flocks and throngs of cliched individuals, with hopes to avoid bumping into any of them. As his success was granted by sight of the open Common House doors, he smiled. This was his big chance for escape. Even though students were free to do whatever during this time, they were not permitted entrance into the forest without a pass. Getting in it was the easy part, the hard part was escaping it with enough agility to make it past the post-meal guards.

Journeying down the steps and across the training field the hyper Enyeto threw himself forward and walked on his hands for a moment, before returning to his feet and colliding with another individual. As his eyesight spun for a moment he blinked a few times and in an attempt to identify the person he came within close proximity. "Hey there-" he paused as his vision settled, "Hey Cas! What are you doing out here?"

His roommate had introduced himself as a respectable by shy individual and Enyeto had never once seen the boy outside of the dormitory or class, considering they shared a majority of their classes (besides the core studies).

Drawing attention away from the individual and to the book he was holding the boy slid behind Castiel and attempted to read the fine print on the cover of the leather-bound book. "What is it you are reading today?" Enyeto asked, laying his head casually on the others shoulder. He meant no harm by the gesture.

"Oh, come with me, I want to show you something!" he suddenly announced, taking the other forcefully by hand and dragging him across the field. Castiel had no choice in the matter, and Enyeto hoped he had made that clear earlier on. The boy was coming to see his secret spot in the woods, regardless of feeling.

He was too quiet lately and Enyeto knew an individual like that needed air (or so he thought).

Castiel made his way outside, finding for once that indoors wasn't very comfortable. There were far to many people for his liking, much too loud for the reading he wanted to accomplish. Reading while he was walking was a skill he learned early on in life, as books were normally his only means of entertainment. So completing simple tasks like, walking for instance, was easily accomplished whilst walking to ones next destination. However there are always variables, and for this situation the variable came in the way of Enyeto; Castiel's room mate.

Making a soft sound of surprise when he was run into, he missed a beat and almost fell right into the ground. Though luck was with him and he regained his balance and looked up at his friend. Giving the taller a friendly smile, he held his book tightly in his small hands.

“Hello Eny...” He greeted, closing his book after putting a bookmark in between the pages to keep his place. The last thing he wanted to do was lose his place completely and have to start over. Although he did like to read books over once he ran out of books to read, he didn't have having to stop and restart reading a book. He didn't like the disruption of flow that came with it.

“ Its a book of legends and fairytales of this region... “ He replied, trying not to startle at the contact. It was something he'd have to grow used to as Enyote was a very touchy sort, something which was foreign to Castiel. Not saying his parents weren't loving, it just they weren't ones to give hugs and such on a regular basis.

“W-What? Where are we going?” Castiel squeaked out when dragged away. Clutching his book in one hand, he staggered to keep pace with the other. “But I thought the woods were off limits during schooling hours?” The mage exclaimed, bright turquoise eyes wide with the idea of getting in trouble. The raven haired boy didn't like trouble although Eny seemed to enjoy a little trouble every so often.

The will to observe and analyze. Enyeto was a ranger-in-training who specialized in tactical and special techniques used by the Ranger Core. He had observed in days past his roomate's comings-and-goings, which happened to be few and far between. He hadn't attempted to question the other on his reasons but Enyeto pinpointed the only sole obvious reason being the mountain of books he always had borrowed from the library. In a couple of months Castiel would have read them all.

With a shrug he listened to Castiel's answer about what he was reading yet made no comment. Anything concerning this island or the culture on it made Enyeto cringe. He disliked the atmosphere that existed here. If anything he avoided learning about it at all costs. He was good at changing cubjects in his class, and often the instructors and teachers went with it.

It was obvious, many of the students hated it here. He was just coming to terms with it, but still, the temptation to run away and hide was still great.

Enyeto slowed his pace to allow Castiel to catch a breath. They need not run too fast or else they might catch the eye of an instructor. After all, although he had only replied with a nod, Enyeto understood the restrictions on anywhere but the common house and training ground during school hours.

With a small shrill the boy paused and held Castiel from going any further. They would have to find another way in lest they wanted to get in trouble. Pulling him off slowly in another direction Enyeto ducked under a branch and pulled his roommate with him. With a scowl he pushed aside branches and kept the other close, hushing him periodically when he made a sound.

However, then their tracks had made it beyond the border of patrol Enyeto began naming off random plants and animals, a few of the things he had learned in his classes.

"Can you hear what is in the distance?" he said, hearing the faint sounds of falling water and a swimming stream. He hoped Castiel had ears like his, ones who could pick up the faint sounds on the horizon. The boy seemed like an apt individual.
