Rule One: No Universe-twisting. This is my Universe to work with in RP form, and I control the events and occurences to a degree. Interaction with your party, travel to planets, and the like are almost exclusively under your control.
Rule Two: NPCs are usually controlled by the GM (Me) unless you request to control your own crew and droids. Enemies, Major Players and minor NPCs such as shopkeepers, people on the street and military forces are controlled by the GM. You can interact with any NPC however you wish.
Rule Three: Literacy is a must. You must be able to type full sentences (paragraphs at the least), roleplay well, spell properly, punctuate and capitalize. I have a bit of leeway, as the odd mistake can pass without harm. However, constant mistakes that detract from the roleplay will mean that you have one warning within the next week. If you continue to disappoint, you will be ejected.
Rule Four: Show some goddamn respect. Your fellow Roleplayers, unless total flaming idiots, should be treated with as much respect and dignity as anyone else. Unless you're part of our normal group, at which point mindless insults are pretty common.
Rule Five: Try to remain realistic according to the Universe. An untrained gunman won't be able to use a Lightsaber well, a Jedi who has never used a Blaster should be a fairly poor shot, an unskilled pilot shouldn't be able to fly a class-4 Corellian Cargo Freighter. These are basic facts. Try to think about how everything works before you try something, eh?
