Charis was not his usual calm self. Azrael might come here to this grove to see him! Oh how he hoped she would show up, surely the moddeities wouldn’t play such a cruel joke on him. Making her so perfect then placing her out of his reach. When Charis couldn’t speak it was her kindness and compassion that gave him the gift of speech. She was his grey angel whether she believed it or not. Just thinking of her made his heart race. Her fur reminded him of a storm cloud. The weather might seem glooming to most, but Charis it wasn’t. He knew that storms had a beauty of their own and they are responsible for giving life in their wake. She was like that too, she seemed so caring and kind, wherever she went joy and prosperity would follow. Charis’s head started floated with thoughts of Azrael.
Unable to sit still Charis stood up and started moving slowly along the edge of the grove. His paws felt good moving in the soft grass growing there. The trees and the sky were creating the perfect romantic atmosphere and the sweet song of the birds only added to the splendor of the area. Delicately spreading his wings to stretch them Charis looked at his fur in the dappled light as he walked under a tree and hoped he didn’t look like a mess. The last thing he wanted was for Azrael to walk into the grove and see him looking a disheveled wreck. The flowers by the entrance to the grove wafted through the air (My apologies for the shortness and the cheezy title, this is my first time setting up a PRP)

Azrael was nervous...she was going to meet Charis. She hoped she'd able to find it since she'd never been that way before. She walked instead of flew as she felt if she flew her thoughts would would carry her on the wrong coarse. She was completely on cloud 9 and didn't want to leave. She was thinking of how sweet Charis was. He called her an angel, but she still didn't think she could compare with one of supposed great beauty and grace. She felt she had neither....
She saw in the distance the flower entrance, to be sure it was the right one she flew up into a nearby tree that over looked the area. She saw Charis, he was moving about like the energizer bunny. Her heart beat so hard as she watched him. When he went under the tree she was in, her nerves accelerated and her heart beat so fast she thought it would pop out of her chest. She leaned forward to look at him through some lower branches, but she leaned to much and with her nerves she toppled out of the tree right on him!
Azrael got up, at first not realizing she had fallen on him. She then looked to where she landed and went wide-eyed, "Oh My God!!!!!!!Charis...oh my are you ok?", she said frantically. Her face was as red as can be. She was so embarrassed that she turned away and refused to face him. "Im so sorry, why me? I'll....I'll just go get some help....", she turned almost at tears and started to walk away not planning on coming back. She thought no one would like her after she hurt the one she cared about so much.
((You did great in starting...im not good at starting them sometimes....and I din't think Im a very good rp'er at times))

Charis was slammed to the ground when something fell on him! Quickly twisting his neck around he saw grey fur on top of him. His mind froze. It wasn’t until Azrael got off of him that he could start to think again although still slightly addled he managed start sorting out what happened. Me? Oh I’m fine. That was quite a fall but nothing damaged here, what about you? Charis didn’t really care whether he was fine or not, so long as Azrael was unharmed. That was all that mattered.
Realizing that Azrael was leaving Charis sprang to his feet and moved swiftly to her side. I’m really alright. There’s no need to get help, unless you’re hurt. Mistaking Azrael’s watery eyes that looked close to tears for physical rather than emotional pain Charis began to worry. Azrael… you aren’t hurt are you? A small worried noise choked in Charis throat as he said this. His ears twitched with anxiety and he shifted his wings with distress. He held up his paw close to her shoulder but didn’t dare touch her for fear of hitting a bruise and causing her pain.
(Thank you to be honest I looked at how Demon set up her RP for our foxes and tried to do something like it. I think you would do fine starting an RP, and there is no way that you're not a good RPer after all it took me a few moments to stop laughing after I read your post. you make Azrael so cute!)

Azrael looked up at Charis, unsure of what to say. She wiped her eyes a bit and looked from his eyes to the ground embarrassed and angry with herself. She finally was able to muster the courage to speak to him, but her voice cracked from her straining to hold back for tears. "I'm fine....Im sorry I fell on you and hurt you. I didn't think you'd want to see me after that....I'm sorry.", she said her voice getting softer and softer.
She looked back to his face, not able to hold the tears back. She fell to the ground and found herself in Charis's arms. She had heard the concern in his voice. She buried her face into his chest as she tried to stop crying so she could speak again. Finally with a few more sniffles she looked back up at Charis and said, "Im not hurt, not physically. Are you sure I didn't hurt you? I....I fell so hard *she pulled away a bit and looked at the ground* I don't deserve to be here with you." She glanced back at his face with a few stray tears falling down her own. She was ashamed and embarrassed, she thought she'd ruined the greatest thing she'd ever had, and lost the one she cared about the most....her angel.
((Thanks....I wasn't sure how Azrael would be when I first got her, but it turned out cute...and good. It's fun and I really like her. Oh and I was wondering if you maybe wanted to mate them. I figured we'd at least breed them, but I think they'd make good mates. I don't think Azrael will find another like Charis. smile heart 4laugh ))

Charis was baffled completely and utterly baffled. Why would he not want to see her? Azrael was the one thing in his life that made him feel like flying. Suddenly there she was in his arms. Her scent made his head spin. As soon as she held her face to his chest he wanted to grab and hold her close. Seeing her crying though made his heart stop. It was painful to the point of actually making him feel as if his stomach was twisted into painful knots.
When she pulled away he was worried she would run away. When he listened to her say that she didn’t deserve to be with him, he could stay silent no longer. Don’t be ridiculous! Azrael you are best thing that ever happened to me! Where it not for you I would still be lost in a world that I couldn’t reach out to. You taught me to live and to move forward when I would have drown myself in despair before I even spoke a word! Leaning in softly he licked the tears from her cheeks . Look here Az, I’m not hurt at all Taking a quick set of steps back away from Azrael and stoops up on his hind legs and turned around twice. As soon as he got back on all fours he moved back up beside Azrael. There is nothing that you could do that could ever hurt me, so long as you're with me. Charis gave Azrael a gentle kiss on her forehead. She was the brightest star in his world and he didn't want to see her hurt in any way.
(She turned out great :nod: . I don’t mind if they end up mated. Azrael has already left a mark on Charis’s heart that will never fade I think.)

Azrael giggled a bit as he jumped back and forth to prove he was alright then she smiled. "Im sorry, I guess Im just not used to....this....feeling this way. I also seem to have a bad habit of falling out of trees. I've got a hard head, but maybe i've learned my lesson now.", she gave a small laugh and another smile. She was still embarrassed and now didn't know what to say or do. Her first date and it was already going the wrong way. She walked closer to him and glanced over him to make sure he was alright. He had a stray leaf on his head so she decided to fix it for him, but when she took another step forward she tripped over a stray twig and went landed on Charis again, but this time she landed giving him an impromptu kiss. At first surprised, but after a second she just went with it, unable to really stop herself.
)(I think she feels the same about Charis...so I say Mates....lol XD They are really cute...I can't wait to see how their babies will look XD...it's kinda funny though...I've paired off both of my Modiphim girls, not long after I got them and to male modiphims that haven't been around long wither.... smile Out of all my couples...only 3 aren't new and only 1 is a pure fling-for now anyways...lol))

Charis had started thinking of ways to tell Azrael that he wasn’t used to feeling this way either, when suddenly she had stepped forward in and kissed him. Charis was taken by surprise, his wings opened up partially in reflex. After a second having not a single thought run through his mind Charis kissed Azrael back. He didn’t think his heart could beat any faster than it was right now.
Gently pulling back from Azrael, Charis realized that Azrael might be hungry; after all it’s not like either fox had eaten. Softly as he nuzzled the side her neck he decided to bring it up. Are you hungry? This grove has a nice apple tree out of sight past those flowers over there. Charis gestured to one side of the grove with a wing not wanting to really move from the side of his grey angel.
(Mates it is then! I know what you mean when you talk about pairing off your foxes as soon as you get them. As soon as I started RPing with my ‘phim female I ended up in a PRP with Demon and if things continue the way they are in the RP then Marcus and Anila will be mates. Azrael stole Charis’s heart on the first night I got him to RP with ^.^ Yet my normal fox Rynn only started a PRP recently. I think Lisa started that because she was bored though.. Maybe a fling. *shrug* )

Azrael was as red as can be. She held her head down completely embarrassed. Surprising the leaf was still on his head, making her giggle a bit. Her stomach growled at the mention of food. "Apples sound good, but first....", she used her wing and brushed the leaf off his head. "Ok, that's better now you mentioned apples.", she giggled again still blushing as she moved towards where the apple tree was.

Looking to see what Azrael had brushed off of his head Charis could only see a few stray leaves. Had it been a leaf or a bug of some kind? Well either way he was glad that Azrael had cared enough to clear it away. How many other foxes that he knew would do such a thing; not one. Charis walked to the apple tree with Azrael.
When he arrived at the tree he was a bit surprised. He had known there was an apple tree here but he had never stopped to really look at tree. It was not a very tall tree; perhaps only five or six feet high but it was sturdy and loaded with apples. The dappled light of the forest canopy made the small tree seem mysterious and elegant. The apples seemed crisp and made Charis’s mouth water almost as soon as he smelled them. Looking to Azrael Shall we? He bowed and gestured to her to proceed first being a lady.

Azrael smiled at Charis, she was falling hard, Fast. She didn't care though, she was slowly seeing she didn't have to be so shy, nervous, around him. She followed Charis to the tree, it was a small tree, but she knew that sometimes smaller was better. She looked to Charis then the tree and then reached up and grabbed one.
She looked back at Charis and waited for him to choose an apple, before she took a bit of hers. "These apples smell delicious!", she said with a gleeful smile.She settled down, almost laying down under the shade of another tree and waited for Charis to join her.

Charis liked watching Azrael move. She had a grace that Charis couldn't even begin to compare to anything he knew. When she made a comment about the apples all he do was nod his head, his tongue was tied into knots. It was only when he saw that she had already picked an apple and was waiting for him that Charis's mind finally could tell his body to move.
Walking up calmly to the apple tree Charis grabbed an apple and trotted over to where Azrael was. The apples do smell great. Azrael's smile was infectious and Charis found himself grinning.

She continued to smile, she couldn't help but do so around Charis. She finally bit into her apple and giggled a bit, "It's delicious, I've never had an apple so sweet before." She laughed a bit and continued to eat her apple and stare into Charis's eyes.

Taking a bite of his apple Charis made a face. I'm glad you got a sweet apple. I had a misfortune of picking a sour one.. Ah well sometimes a little sourness isn't all bad. Charis took another bite out of his apple trying not to make a face, yet failing.
Off to the side a small rabbit approached the apple tree to nibble at the tender grass below the tree. It kept a weary eye on the foxes.
((Added)) Storm clouds started to thunder in the distance. Charis despaired but couldn't stand the thought of his angel having to fly in dangerous weather. I know it's early but perhaps we should call this date to an end. The weather doesn't look good. Perhaps I'll be able to see you again?
(now we can time skip ^^)

Azrael laughed at Charis with his sour apple, but stopped when she looked to the sky to see clouds heading there way. She then heard a light rumble of thunder in the distance and a frown found it's way to her face.
She agreed with Charis, it was best they get home before the storm came and stranded them who knows where. "I look forward to the day we can see one another again.", she smiled and gave him a light peck on the cheek and reluctantly they parted ways.......
The time they would spend apart would be long. Azrael still had her shy nature, but she grew as well, but she never forgot Charis, she would return every other day or so to the apple tree hoping to see him again, but their paths seemed ill-fated to cross again.....or so she thought
.......It was a warm day, not a cloud in sight. The trees were in bloom. Azrael returned once again to the place where she and Charis had their first an only date. Even though she no longer hoped on hope to see him this place was special to her.
She sat in a tree that overlooked the entire area. The winds were gentle through the trees. She looked over to the apple tree, it's blossoms many with young apples scattered. Azrael sighed and thought back to that day. It was ill-fated, the winds that day, but maybe one day fate would bring him back.
She stayed in the tree, hidden among the leaves. As mid-day and the high sun passed over head she was lulled into a nap by the wind. The wind seemed to be in a better mood this day, it was starting to intertwine Azrael's hope and good-luck to bring about better days......

Drifting about in the air Charis thought about Arzeal yet again. This really wasn’t something new since he always seemed to think of her at least twice a day. He thought of her soft silky hair and her beautiful storm cloud grey fur. It had been so very long since he had last layed eyes on his grey angel but he still remembered every feature of her.
Since his separation from her Charis had learned to be more independent. He could socialize so much easier now. He had even joined a tribe of all things. He was happy in his new life, but still he missed Azreal. He escaped the city and flew to the apple tree whenever he could. Sometimes he would near freeze himself in the middle of winter just laying below the apple tree staring up through its branches.
Pulling himself out of his mind he noticed that he was getting close to his destination he landed in the clearing a short distance from the apple tree. He was mildly surprised. Normally when he landed a rabbit, bird, or sometimes a deer would scatter from the clearing at his presence. This time there was nothing despite the apple bosoms’ casting their yearly spell of beauty that often had other creatures entranced enough that they would stay in the clearing. He looked at the magnificent tree and whispered out the name of his beloved in memory. “Azreal.”
