It was his first time really being alone, without Kwea's guidance, without his Father. He strolled free, small, but proud and had bumped into a few Banu's he recognized and a few he wasn't sure of, he saw cubbins he'd played with and a few he didn't.
He wasn't really sure of what to do with his time away from family and found wandering was best. His paws didn't even carry him far. Egemon was blown away by the scenery and was excitable.

Kifaranga had just finished dragging a kill to Kwea it was no where near enough for the family at its current size. She was quickly getting tired of this even though the other banu were now helping. It still felt like she could barley have any of Kwea's time. Between the cubs and other banu she found herself wanting to fight for his attention. She was also worried that she might not have cubs for him. Kifa wasn't sure how long it took for it to show when one was pregnant. Was she now? Or was there something wrong with her? Besides that how could she get more attention from Kwea? How did one become a beybanu? Would that get her more time with him? Her friend was a beybanu...yes that's it she would go ask Amani about it before heading out to hunt again.
Excited that she might have solved her problem she almost trotted towards the cave of pad Nywele where Amani lived, but something caught her eye. Kifa spotted and eyed a cub walking alone among the chaos of the day. "Egemon`Psyche?" Kifa questioned pretty sure that was one of the cubs Kwea had adopted. She really had not spent much time with them though she had been told in a way she was their mother too. Kifaranga worried that he shouldn't be alone and padded towards him. She knew even male cubs were to be treated with some sort of respect but would he tell her the truth if she asked him a question. "May I ask, does Kwea know you are out here alone?" Kifa spoke with respect in her voice, but her ears flattened daring him to cross her in anyway. She would make sure to confirm information rather she believed him or not with Kwea later.

Egemon`Psche glanced from his current path to gave up at a familiar female. He recognized her immediately as one of Kweas from his pad. A Banu known as Kifaranga, though he chose to call her Kifa, a much easier word to pronounce. "Kifa?" He offered a smile, then a head nod of greeting.
"No, Kwea isn't aware I suppose." He said, slowly, obviously trying for a more sophisticated and complicated sentence. He felt accomplished after his spoke and his tail flick and eye sparkle proved it. He saw this female as a Mother, but more as a female, as what he'd rule in the future.
"Aren't you going to get more food?" He asked, not trying to pry at her work, but he seriously figured she'd be out hunting or something for Kwea, that's' what Banu's did. Fed, prized, and bred with the pad male. His eye's were honest and kind, a heart of gold inside.

Kifa raised her nose a little, when he became older she would request he call her by her full name. She figured for now he might have trouble saying it all. Kifa sat in front of him and smiled a bit satisfied that he did not lie to her.
"I'm not sure he would approve you being alone out here." Kifa tired to remember she still must treat him with respect which she thought was just silly for a cub, but there were a few of members of the pride about and she did not wish to shame Kwea in any way. "I know you are a strong pad, but there are troubles even the strongest pads have facing alone. At least it would be good for us to know where you are so we do not worry about you."
Oh that made her make a face who the heck did he think he was....Kwea's son go figure. "I just dropped a load off at the den. I have to take a break in between of Ill never catch anything. Keep that in mind for the future little pad, give your banus a break or they will break themselves." She tired to smile, but she was starting to bore of this child already this was not getting her any closer to being a beybanu. "Hmm but you could do your father a favor and escort me to Pad Nywele's cave. I wish to visit Beybanu Amani, she has three cubs of her own. They are older then you but I'm sure they would like to meet you. I also need to see how little banu Vashti is doing on her singing practice. What do you say?" Kifa figured this way she can keep an eye on the little brat while getting the information she needed.

As young as little Egemon was he knew faces for what they were almost instantly. He recognized she was tense and searching for a way to relieve it, he was anoying her and though his little face didn't show it, he was proud. His ears twitched as she explained why he should not be on his own and he stared at her a moment. "If I wanted to stay safe I'd have told Kwea I was leaving on my own. Then Id have not left at all!" He stated this plainly and sat his rump to the ground.
His head shifted and moved with her tales of bringing fod back, and she thought he was boring. This poor cub was being stiffed with silly litle chatter. Then cubs were brought up. He rarely went to other caves, baely spoke to other cubs. She had been right about being kept tight to Kweas paw. Something was afoot here and so he agreed whole heartedly to go with her.
Besides he enjoyed a good wander every now and again. "Sure, how far is it?" He asked, with his cubbin memory he could not remember venturing there, even as his words faded with the day he stood up and awaited her direction.

Kifa smiled a bit at what he said. Did he feel Like Kwea was suffocating him? She had been there before wanting to just get away and explore a bit. "I think I can understand you feelings little pad. How about you just let me know from now on so maybe I can keep an eye on you from a distance at least. Kwea wants me to take care of you and your siblings, so please help me obey my pad." Maybe she was starting to like this kid after all. Perhaps she could slip some of her own ways into this cub some how and make the lives of his banu better in the future.
"Its not far at all. If it was I doubt Kwea would allow me to frequent it. Oh another interesting thing about Pad Nywele is he is a god!" Kifaranga got to her paws and headed off towards Nywele's den. She knew she had been very excited that Nywele was a god. Kifa had never met a god before and she wished she could fly like he could. It wasn't long before they reached the den. It was very decorated with paints and cloth hanging at the entrance. Nywele had brought a lot of the items from the realm of gods and goddess for the decoration of their den.
Kifa sat outside the entrance and smiled at Egemon wondering what he thought of the overly decorated den. Kifa thought it was a bit much but it was still interesting.
"Pad Nywele?! Beybanu Amani?" Kifa called hoping some one was home.
"Banu Kifaranga!!!!" A ball oh brown and other colors launched out of the den landing on top of Kifa. The little banu didn't even see the other cub. She tugged on Kifa's ear playfully before jumping off and composing herself in front of Kifa. "Ive been practicing Banu Kifaranga! But I still can't sing like you!" Finally her eyes fell on Egemon and she looked a bit embarrassed. "Oh whoops...."
Nywele was much slower to come out of the den. He yawned and fluttered his see through wings as he stepped into the warm sun light. He smiled brightly and his markings brightened as he watched his daughter interact with Kifa. "Hello Banu Kifaranga. And who is this?" Nywele said with a tilt of his head.

Egemon walked with Kifa, he wasn't used to wandering around andfound himself zoned out and staring around. She was right it wan't to far, and had the Banu not launched herself from the hole which they called a den Egemon would have still been zoned. "A God?" He whispers, as if just hearing what she had said and ignoring the female who'd said oops he stood still and shocked.
The life form that had now approached them was massive, a mane the size of Egemon and then some, and then more! His body, covered in beautiful markings. He was bewildered, scared and just excited. He could barely moves his jaws to say his name.
His belly pressed to the ground he let out a squeak withhis name. "My.. My name is Egemon.. Egemon`Psyche sir!" He stated. He didn't knwo how to act around a God, Kwea had mentioned Gods before, mentioned respecting them, but not what to do if you met one. And he never thought he would meet one, buthere. Not to far from home was a beautiful, elegant God who actually spoke to him. He never believed a mortal woudl be able to do this, just run into a Gods home and he nearly wanted to give Kifa a good whack for such an intrusion.

"Good to meet you pesar Egemon'Psyche." Nywele said with a raised brow before looking to Kifa. "Told him I was a god huh? Well guess the wings would have given it away anyways." Nywele gave another hearty laugh.
"Yes pad Nywele I'm afraid I did. Should I not in the future?" Kifa said flattening her ears worried that she may have messed up.
"No no its fine, just wasn't sure why he was graveling at first. Sometimes I forget what I look like. I love it here it lets me forget I'm a god and lets me remember I'm a lion. Pesar you don't have to lay on your stomach I am a normal pad...with unique talents." Nywele said giving the boy a smile.
Vashti moved to sit near Egemon, with a big grin on her face. But as she listened to the adults talk she seemed to become irritated. "Uh hmmm!"
Nywele laughed and rolled his eyes at his daughters little fit. "Pesar Egemon, this is my daughter Banu Vashti."
Vashti did a little polite bow. "Pleasure to meet you pesar."

Egemen was so entranced by the God that he barely noticed the pretty little female who'd' taken up a spot near his side. He looked at her, she was awfully close and quite a bit older then he was, and Pesar? He was stirred up in a good wheel of movements.
"He-Hello Vashti!" He blushed instinctively, pale pelt becoming a beautiful ruby red to match his markings. "My, my name is Egeman`Psyche!" He blurted and nearly shrunk in his spot even more, basically burying himself in the ground.
Then she bowed, he caught the grin that became something of a small treasure, he was still a bit startled by this females forward behavior, but she wasn't ugly. He smiled back, a weak smile to add to his weak knees. "It's a pleasure to meet you Vashti... Banu Vashti!" He quickly fixed his statement and then blushed deeper and with this blush looked away.

Vashti blushed seeing Egeman blush to place a paw gracefully in front of her face to cover herself. She giggled lightly running to her father and peeking around him his side trying to get him to play with her.
"I think Vashti wants to play Egeman." Kifaranga said with a giggle. Watching the cubs reactions was making her feel closer to him some how. She so badly wanted cubs of her own so maybe it wouldn't be so bad to give these cubs a little more affection then she had been.
Nywele smiled at the reactions between the two. He really had only seen his daughter with her brothers so this was something new for him to watch. "A splendid idea. Perhaps it will allow the little pesar to relax."

Egeman wachd closely as she scampered away, what aweird thing to do! He thought to himself then the grownups spoke to him, teaching him yet another new thing today. Giggles+Runing Away, from a girl, meant let's play! "Okay!" He bellowed excitedly, his ears flipping forward and tail trailing behind him, dove towards the God and his daughter.
"Here I come!" He calls turning this into bit of a chase and concure! He was used to all his siblings who played and pounced, this one had a cuter way of playig. He enjoyed throwing himself into the chase.

Vashti let out a fake yell of fear before fleeing to the other side of Kifa. Then off to the play area Nywele had marked off for his sons and daughter. There where extra little hills or rather lumps in the ground and hiding holes that Nywele had made in his free time. The little banu ran into a little log and then popped out the top of it before stopping to tease a bit. "Na na never gonna catch me!!!." Vashti giggled enjoying this a lot already.
Nywele smiled watching his cub play in the playground. "That Egeman seems sweet." He commented to Kifa finally looking over to her. "How are you settling in with you pad and the new banu?" Nywele still didnt see all the things that could be wrong with him talking to Kifa like this.
"Yeah seems that way." Kifa replied about Egeman. "Well I guess.....well I was finally liking being with Kwea, but getting used to the other banu now. Im just having some troubles...adjusting." Kifa knew she could talk freely with Nywele. He understood so much and was from outside of this pride so he treated her more like an equal. "Im sorry without Amani here Im not sure that I should stay near you for to long. I'm going to go get a better spot to watch the cubs from." Kifa bowed to Nywele before heading off to a spot in the shade.
"I understand." Nywele said with a nod. "Please send Vashti inside the den when you need to leave." Nywele responded before heading into the den.

Egeman scampered after her, then stopped a brief moment to stare at the playground. Handmade it appeared and something Egeman had never seen. "Wooow!" He admired slowly then saw her head pop out of a log he just didn't seem to see the first time around. "Hey!" He shouted and dove after her, not even doing the respectable thing and saying bye to the God exiting from sight.
"I'm gonna get you, just you wait!" He playfully growled, leaped at the spot just before the log and began to waggle his bum, preparing to leap a her mocking face. He'd never played chase before and he was certainly enjoying it, he was laughing and play growling lots and lots.

"I think not pesar!!" Vashti shouted jumping back into another hole in the log and shooting out the other side. Running behind a little sand bank and tucking herself behind it.
She hoped he didn't see where she went but her giggles were giving away her position either way.

"You sneaky little Banu!" He yelped at her and stopped moving, he'd caught a glimpse of her, but was no good at hide and seek. "Cmoooon!" he whines softly, beckoning the pretty female out. He was about a foot away from the sandbank and staring dead straight to it.
"Cmoooon!" He stood and waggled his bum a bit, waiting profusely to strike if she came out.
