The sun had just begun to set behind the African plain, yet the summer heat still lingered. A constant swift breeze gave cool relief to many of the rogue land inhabitants looking for a place to crash for the night. Or just start their 'day'.
Mutes had taken to a quiet walk about the plain. Contemplating what to do with the rogue Lion Jelani. He had proven to be more troublesome than expected.

Dez'i wasn't up to much once again during this day. Some times he found himself busy but then times like today he was just wandering around doing nothing other then wandering. His teacher and his mother wanted a break today and they insisted that he found something else to do for the day. He was driving them craxy with the whole. "I wanna train!' thing that he was doing all day. So he was going to find somethign else to do for the day and he was starting with wandering around and trying to find somthing to do.
He huffed then stretched his legs as he started to wander he needed to find something to do. As he caught glance at some one he stopped, pausing and looking at them trying to figure out who they were he was surprised at the wings was that a god? He had heard of them before... He paused before he started to wander toward the god. "Hello?" He asked, he was really hoping that the male wasn't one of those unfriendly ones or not.

It was a rare occurrence that Mutes wondered the pains without his mortal mask, and today was one of those rare days he opted not to wear it.
When addressed he turned toward young lion, but made no effort to speak or approach. Even from their distance he had to look down to get a full view of the lion given his unnaturally large size. Even for a god. From foot to shoulder to foot he stood a little more than twice the size of an adult male firekin lion.
Mutes scowled at the other lion, really for no other reason than that was his usual greeting face. Not the friendliest of sorts. It was as if he was forcing the other to prove himself. To what, only he would know.

Dez'i wanted a little closer to the god, he was really hoping that the male was friendly. He knew that some gods could be dangerous or at least it was what his adoptive mother had told him before but he wanted to know if the other god was going to talk and if he was Dez wanted to be able to help him.
"Are you okay sir?" He asked curiously, the male seemed to be in a bad mood and well... Dezi was just a friendly lion.

It was a very good sign for the other lion not to run. That meant that he was not a total coward and therefor not particularly on Mutes bad side. The good manners were a plus.
"Why would you care whether or not another is in alright?" Mutes spoke boldly as he gazed into the young lion's eyes. By his tone, though it was cold, the question was not a scolding nor sarcastic. It was an honest question.
