This roleplay was done on Aim,We haven't quite finished it yet.
Polette: Scraping his hoof against the ground, Anarion was breathing heavily. He had been running for awhile, exhausting some pent-up energy he had acquired from sleeping in so late this morning. It wasn't a normal thing for him, but he had wandered into a forest, and everything just seemed so comfortable and relaxed there that he couldn't help but want to stay for a little while longer.
With the edge of the forest behind him, he found his ears being filled with the sounds of rushing water. Golden eyes looking around, it wasn't hard to find the river just a few yards away. Finding himself rather parched after his run, the large stallion slowly trotted over to it, feeling his armor clink with every heavy step.
Moomoo: Splashing around in the river far down it from the stallion was a dark brown colored mare with a black star over her right eye.Giggling the mare chased after the fish that were swimming around in the waters. She wasn't the one to chase butterflies, but she did love to chase fish.Nara did love her nature, she cared so much about it.Snorting when the fish hit her nose with its back fin,she quickly went after another.Usually she just..wasn't this playful.Huffing Telnara finally stopped her childish way and laid next to the river.Huffing and puffing she looked around near by.Telnara had no idea that this other stallion was near by,but she had heard some hooves coming from somewhere.
Polette: The water felt so nice to Ari that he debated jumping in. But he just really didn't feel like dealing with the uncomfortable rubbing that wet armor would do against his pelt, so he decided against it.
Ears swiveling to the side, Ari glanced over while he continued to drink. It was odd, he could have sworn he hear something splashing in the water, but as he looked over, there wasn't anything in the river. Raising his head from the water, he spotted a brown lump in the grass and felt a rush of worry come over him. Was someone hurt? Did they need help? Trotting over to it, the figure of the mare became more clear. "Are you alright?" Leaning over, he kept his head straight to avoid jabbing it with the long horn that protruded from his helmet.
Moomoo: Nara let out a huge happy sigh in relief from the heat fave that bounced upon her skin.Hearing something coming towards her she sat up and look at the stallion. Her ears flickered back and forth at his words. Her words started to come out soft and gental."I'm fine,i was just playing in the river, then i became tired."Telnara looked at the stallions armor and blinked."I'm perfectly fine, just trying to relax on this hot day."
Polette: "Oh, I'm sorry, I thought..." Looking out towards the water, Ari felt rather embarrassed. But at least she was alright, right? "Yeah, it is pretty hot out today." Shaking his body, Ari tried to loosen his armor up a bit, so his skin could breathe. He had come so used to it that it didn't burn like it used to, but it was still hot.
"Playing in the water, huh? That doesn't sound too bad, especially on a day like today. But I'm afraid I might sink." Laughing at his own handicap, Ari looked over the mare. Her blue eyes seemed to pop out from her fur. "May I ask your name? I'm Anarion."
Moomoo: Telnara stood and dipped her muzzle into the river and ran it over his skin. She knew he was hot from that armor."Its okay, believe me."She smiled and looked up at him.Nara dipped her muzzle into the river again and ran it over his skin, she watched the droplets run down his body."You must be hot."Her words came out softly."Yup its way to hot out today for it to be a relaxing lay out in the sun day."A giggle came from her small muzzle.Blinking she answered."I'm Telnara,Please call me Nara. Its quite a pleasure to meet you Anarion."
Polette: Anarion gulped as she came in close. He couldn't help but stare at her for a few moments, perplexed by her movements. It took him a little while to feel the cool rush of the water running along his skin. "You.....you can call me Ari." He stumbled over his words, looking down at the ground as he said them.
"So, um. Nara..." He blinked as he tried to gather his thoughts. "Do you live around here? It's such a relaxing place..." He took in a deep breath and looked around at the scenery. It made him feel more at ease than his previous home in the mountains.
Moomoo: Nara giggled and repeated the water on his skin for a couple more times."Okay Ari."She looked up at him some more. Her eyes watched his eyes go to the ground."I live not to far from here.It is indeed, its quite lovely here in the winter time."Looking at a near by tree that was close to them, walking over she grabbed a couple apples and rolled them over to him."Try them, they are my families favorite."Nara bit half of one and munched on it."Where do you live? You don't seem like someone who'd live around here."
Polette: "In...the winter?" From where Ari had grown up, winters had been fairly unpleasant things. So was life in the mountains. Things always seemed like life or death, and there was so much anger amongst those who lived up there- mainly creatures and beastly things.
Taking a few steps towards her, he carefully took a small bite from one of the apples. It was something different, to say the least, but he liked it. Another wonderful thing from this area, he supposed. "I'm from the mountains. Well, I was..." Looking back towards the tree line, he had actually been considering going back a few days ago. But recently, there seemed to just be too much here for him to leave.
Moomoo: "Winters are actually not as bad as you think they are.All depending on the day i suppose."Nara ate a couple more apples. She smiled when he took a bite at one of the apples."Really?I've been there a couple times.Where do you like now?"She asked.
Polette: Looking at her, he tried to imagine what winter would be like down here. Probably not as rigid as they were up there. While Ari's armor got really hot, it didn't keep in heat during the cold season. It was a rather dysfunctional thing, now that he thought about it.
"Well, I really like this are. The forest mainly, I guess, just because it's a little more similar to where I grew up than out on the plains." Giving a huff of laughter, he took a few more bites of the apple. "Much better company here, too." Glancing up at her, he couldn't help but smile a little.
Moomoo: Nara giggled at the stallion."It is quite calming around here.Enless you see my sister running after butterflies."She smiled at the thought of her sister. When he looked up at her she kinda gave a blush and looked away quickly.
Polette: "Maybe.....I'll stay here for awhile." Grinning, he looked up at the tree, looking at the sky between all the little leaves. He could use a change in his life, and this seemed to be the best time.
"That is, if you promise to show me around." Winking through his armor, Ari was stepping a little out of his comfort zone, but he thought that it'd be worth it in the end. He was young, after all, and it was okay to have a little fun.
Moomoo: Nara blinked at looked at him.She blushed deeply and sighed happily."I-i-i'd love to show you around."She said blurting out her words quickly.Flicking her tail her eyes just drifted to his.
Polette: "That's great." Grinning with a mouthful of apple, Ari could feel his confidence rising. Ever since he came down from the mountain, he'd been nicer and breaking out of his previously very rough shell. And a kind face probably didn't hurt, either.
Moomoo: Naras tail flicked back and forth as she looked up at him.She loved his company."Mhm."She tugged on his short mane pulling him to show him places."I'm gonna show you my families favorite place."
Polette: Swallowing what bits of apple remained in his mouth, Ari's ears flicked up as she spoke. He felt a slight twist in his stomach- had she really agreed?
"So um...so you have family around here?" He couldn't help but wonder what they were like. His family had kind of....split after Ari was born. His father, he knew, wasn't the most pleasant of stallions, and had more armor than Ari had. And his mother was the fearful type, so he knew that she couldn't have stayed, even if she wanted to.
Moomoo: Nara wasn't quite afraid of much of anything. Not at all.She looked back at him."Yeah, theres my sister,me,my father soup, cousins Brian,Accalon,Then aunty Viper and Niele."She giggled softly."I have a lot of family. There are a couple others that we don't see much."Nara tugged on his mane more and walked with him."They're actually really nice people.Very welcoming."
Polette: "I...I trust your word, I guess." Laughing, he really didn't think he had much choice in the matter. He'd jumped head-first into this, and he wasn't going to back out. And besides, if the rest of her family was as nice as she was...well, then that'd just make his day even better.
Moomoo: "Don't worry."Nara looked at him and giggled."I promise if they hurt you i'll hurt them back."She said quietly,it was like she knew this male for years and was willing to protecting him,But she barely knew the male.Huffing she thought of her familiy even hurting him."They wont attack you,if they had a good reason to hurt you they would."
Polette: "Then you're my protector." Nudging her, he laughed at the apparent reversal of roles. Even though he was sure he could protect himself from one or two family members, he thought it was nice that she'd be there to make sure of it. "Well, I hope they never find a good reason to."
Moomoo: Nara let a giggle come from her lips. After a couple minutes of laughing she became serious."As long as you don't hurt me they have no reason to."She nudged him back.
Polette: "I wouldn't dream of hurting you." Swishing his tail, he grinned, eyes washing over her figure. He would never hurt a mare, out of pure respect for them, but this one...well, there was something a little different about her. "And I don't think I'd let anyone hurt you, either." Looking at her, he had a fairly serious look in his eyes. He stopped for a moment, staring at her, but quickly returned to his trot, a grin on his face.
Moomoo: "Why not?"She rolled her eyes and huffed.Nara just kept walking and looked away from him."Why wouldn't you let anyone hurt me?"She asked quietly and started to trot beside him as soon as he sped up.
Polette: "Why...?" Ari's mouth hung open a little as he barely mouthed the word. "That seems like a fairly odd thing to ask." Stumbling for words, he really didn't know what to say. It seemed like an obvious thing, but there was something else pulling at him.
"Unless you want to get hurt." Trotting a little faster, Ari came around and cut her off, looking at her directly. "But how....how could I let someone as, as....special as you get hurt? I think it'd tear me to pieces." Staring at her, he couldn't really find the words he wanted to say. Sure, they had just met, but she had shown him kindness that no one had ever shown him before, and it meant a lot to him, probably more than even he knew.
Moomoo: Nara stopped quickly and started at the stallion."Well...No."She rolled her eyes with a grin."You care?"She looked at the stallion dead in the eye."It'd tear you to pieces?"She licked muzzle and looked at him."I'd be hurt if you even got a scrape."Her words came out her muzzle slowly, then she walked out around him.Nara did care a lot, even though yes they did just met.
Polette: "Even a scrape?" Ari smiled a bit. "I think my armor scrapes me enough as it is." He watched her carefully, not too sure of himself in this situation. "Well now, if it keeps going like this, we'll both be in protective bubbles by the time either of us is happy." Laughing, he couldn't help but wonder if she was feeling the same thing he was. "I guess we'll just have to always be together, to make sure the other one doesn't get hurt." Looking up towards the sky with a grin, he glanced down at her, quite curious as to what she'd do next.
Moomoo: "We mise well."She flicked her tail in his face and ran faster."Stick together?"She rolled her eyes and huffed."Only if you can catch me."She took off into the trees.Nara was indeed feeling the same way.Very much the same way.
Polette: His smile turning into a broad grin, Ari felt himself being pulled after her, into the trees. He felt a bit overwhelmed, like he was going to burst, but it was a nice kind of feeling. What lay in the forest with her was just the adventure he was wanting most.
Moomoo: Nara heard the beating of the stallions hooves behind her.Jumping over a huge log she rushed past a creek going into it,only splashing water that would get on the stallion. She whinnied back to him.
Polette: Something about the whole situation seemed a bit like a fairytale to Ari. Growing up, he had heard stories from those who had been out to this area, and everything seemed so happy and unrealistic to little Ari up in the mountains. But now, this just seemed like a dream come true. Of course, the chasing after a pretty girl was something new, but totally welcomed.
Moomoo: "Stop day dreaming and come on!"She yelled back at him as she ran faster. Her hooves beat against the ground,a smile grew upon her face. She loved him, even thought she barely knew him.He was sweet, and just too adorable to let up.
Polette: Shaking his mane, Ari pressed on, pushing harder and faster. It felt nice to be able to run so hard, though the armor clanking against him wasn't the most pleasant of things.
He could see himself getting closer, and his body burned so much, but he pushed until he finally caught up to her. "Caught you!" Pressing a little inward, he got closer to her, and hoped that she had tired out a bit, too.
Moomoo: Nara looked at the stallion finally catching up to her.She laughed and pushed herself forward. Her legs started to hurt but she wanted to see if he could keep up."You may have, but you might want to jump!"Nara yelled to him and jumped over a river.
Polette: Watching her for a few strides, it took a moment for Ari to realize what she had said, and by that point, it was a little too late for Ari. Trying a jump, the momentum of all the bulky armor sent Ari straight off the side into the river. Creating a large splash, Ari flailed for a few moments before getting his footing. His weight and bulk kept him from floating away, but he still felt rather foolish as he looked up the bank.
