By: Roxanna Lyons.
I ran down the cold path, my bare feet slapping on the concrete sidewalk as the beast approached me, screaming my name.
"BRITTANY!" He screamed.
Roxie was following us, barreling through the tree branches like the wild assasin she was.
I screamed for her, "ROXIE!!!"
She laughed, as though this was a joyous moment. She exploded from the treebranches and landed on the beasts back. In holwled in pain and I stopped dead in my tracks, turning around to see the wolven creature plummit to the ground with a thud.
Roxie sat otop his back, grinning with pleasure, "Isnt it lovely?" She heald up a knife, glistening with rubies.
They dripped off of it like a light sprinkle in rain at the end of Fall.
She slid off of his slick black fur and walked to me, helping me keep my balance. She pulled out her gun and fired at the beast.
Double tap.
"Click click boom." She whispered, then turned to me, placing the gun back into its holster, "Its alright, Brittany. He cant hurt you from now on."
I nodded slowly and she hugged me. I buried my face into her shoulder and cried, my shoulders heaving as the shoulder of her black leather trench coat had a downpour of saltwater from my eyes. She patted my back and I sniffed pulling away.
Then.
As though nothing had ever happened, We walked home...
The End.
