'She's so bossy! Wish she'd jus' leave me alone,' Dorian thought glumly, peering around in the slightly murky water. It was a little harder to see, but still clear enough to navigate without too much trouble. Thankfully Mhairi deemed it unworthy of her presence and wouldn't find him. Well... She probably would just be unable to actually GET him.

Spotting what looked like a tattered black shirt floating along in the distance, Dorian quickly found upon closer inspection that it was the sails to a pirate ship. And by the looks of it, a really old and once extravagant pirate ship.

Curious, and never one to question such things when it means something ancient and mysterious, the boy made his way warily to the ship. A sigh of relief escaped him upon seeing that the ship didn't host the remains of the crew. Despite being awesomely cool to find them, he didn't want some creepy skeletons chasing after him.

Miles had been allowed to venture out at sea that day for a little bit, but not too far. Unfortunatly, while Miles knew how far out he was from shore, his relative distance of 'not too far' in nautical miles was different than what he would generally call 'not too far' in terrestrial terms. He was actually quite far out past the shore and completely submerged in the water, so that nobody but he knew where he was, and only the current let him know where he had been.

He was enjoying the bubbly murkyness that came from his own body heat around the water, when suddenly a figure much his own size shot past his vision. His first instinct was to flee, but then noticing the face attatched to the body that flashed by was strangely familiar to his own, and looked like a young boy too. He decided that it couldn't hurt to follow the boy then, being as strong a swimmer as he was, he could easily escape if it really was dangerous.

Tailing the boy for some time, Miles eventually came across the Pirate ship as well and a smile spread across his face. Anyone else would've been afraid of something so dangerous, but it was in the water and so Miles knew it posed no threat. The ship was sunk, which meant that it could only be used for one thing: fun.

Drawn by the intrigue of the ship, and a line of heat flowing behind him, he swam right up behind the other boy was and exclaimed "Woah.." in his eerily airy voice at the sight of the interior of the ship.

Dorian would have jumped if he had been on dry land, but instead jerked away from the voice. The voice reminded him of something a ghost would have or... something but as he looked, it was to his utmost relief it wasn't and an even bigger relief that it wasn't his sister. Had she shown up, all his fun would be ruined, as would his hiding spot. "Oh... Hi," he replied, noticing the kid had a similar tail to his sister, Mhairi. Which ultimately meant the kid didn't pose as much of a thread as, say, his previous thought of the kid as ghost did. Still, the voice continued to linger creepily in his ears.

"Explore?" he asked, gesturing to the ship. Might as well ask since the boy HAD just showed up expressing interest in the sunken pirate ship. Best to be polite after all since one could never tell how deadly another could be. Or gifted. Speaking of which, wasn't the water colder moments earlier?

"Tee! Yeah." Miles giggled in excitement, hoping that he'd be asked to come along, thinking that no harm could come of a little deep-sea exploration. The ship looked so big and inviting. Even if it did look run down and old, things didn't move so quickly in water as they did on land, so even if the whole thing started to collapse around them, there was no problem with him getting out.

Miles swam a small circle of joy around the new boy and then dove himself inside the hole in the cabin. It was a little dark at first, but faint light shafts from above shone through the holes and cracks in the structure, allowing for a small amount of light that was akin to full moonlight. Hammocks hung from pillars and some flooded, some sealed chests were scattered about the area. Miles swam up to one of the hammocks at the top part of the cabin and looked down on the rest of the area.

Dorian couldn't help the smile that took over his features at the other boy's excitement at joining him in the exploration of the sunken ship. True excitement over such a simple thing like joining someone really made him feel... Dorian couldn't think of the word, but it felt great.

"Wha's your name?" he asked curiously, following the boy closer to the ship and to the hole that looked in on the cabin area. Thankfully there wasn't any skeletons or half-rotted corpses hanging around. "Wow... Wonder wha's in here," he muttered, moving away from the boy and to one of the sealed chests. There was a place for a key but if the key was on the ship somewhere... he hadn't a clue.
