i got ff7 on my ps3 two days ago and it won't save anything, so i leave it on all the time so ive been very cautious when im playing. i have not died once yet im at the part where they escape shinra prison, and i have a few questions for those who have this game or already beat it: 1 if i do die and have never saved the game will i go srait to the begining of the game or will it let me retry like ff13? 2 for those who have this on ps3, is there any possible way of saving the game that i don't know about? if so plz heed your wisdom. hehe 3 if the answers are "no" to the questions above, am i completely doomed?!!! dramallama thx and plz no mean comments

One, it is weird that you are not able to save. You have to find a way maybe in the PS3 settings that will allow you to save. Since I've never connected to the PSN ever due to my slow internet, I don't know what it's like or how to fix it. Try searching "FF7 PS3 won't save" on google.
Two, When you die, it's game over. And you have to load a save file. Sooner or later, you will encounter things that WILL kill you. So I suggest you go over a fix before you start over.
Three, have mercy on your console. xp You need to give it a rest soon. But I have to admit that I did that once with Chrono Trigger in SNES when the batteries ran out so I cannot save.

well I think you have to create a PSX memory folder to store the data but I don't have a PS3 so I'm not sure if while your playing it you can open up a screen to create a memory folder
and if you can't save well when you die I'm afraid game over is game over...

Hate to say it but in ff7 if you die you go back to the main screen so if you did not save at a certain point you go back to the begining of the game. Also I think that ff13 is the first game to do that so that's cool. Um I don't own the ps3 but I do have ff7 for the ps1. P.s we have the same hair style
