° My story thus far : Alice was born to an unassuming family, but was soon moved to Saint Claire's after her parents discovered her powers. The sudden culture shock made her extremely withdrawn and timid.
° A little more about me : Alice is extremely timid, and a true introvert. She doesn't have many friends, but it's due to a lack of noticing her. Sometimes, Alice thinks that her classmates flat-out can't see her.
° I approve of these : Books, Stuffed Animals, A good Conversation (Hard to find when you're a wallflower), and pretty girls who can take charge.
° I disapprove of these : Bugs, Large Dogs, The Dark, and Very Bright Colors. † Extras --------------------------------------------------------------

° I came from this decent : Human with a bit of fey blood, 1/2 American, 1/2 Japanese.
° I'm only interested in : Definitely girls. --------------------------------------------------- Details † ---------------------------------------------------
° My story thus far : I was born into a strange family. Yes, I had both a mom and a dad, no they didn't have any kind of problem... will you just, listen!? Anyways, what was strange was that my dad had fey blood! Now, this doesn't make him some kind of freak with horns or anything like that. The fey blood stops you from aging after a certain age, makes you more appealing to people, and shortens the rate at which you heal. Thanks to my dad I got the same fey blood. I was home schooled my whole life until now. I finally convinced my parents to let me go to this boarding school and that's where I am today.
° A little more about me : I'm described as outgoing and fun. However if I get close to you I become overprotective and possessive, I get jealous at almost anything. It's not one of my best qualities but I can't help it. I'm also easily distracted which is why I tend to get a few bad grades every once in a while...
° I approve of these : Cute things, Adventuring, Cold weather, Snow, Naps, and meeting new people.
° I disapprove of these : The quiet, Thunderstorms, Mornings, Being bored, and Liars. † Extras --------------------------------------------------------------
° I might be a little different : There was something else I forgot to mention about the fey blood. I can easily persuade people to do whatever I want. I don't use it much but when I do, it helps a lot.
° How much more do you need to know!? : Serena is secretly insecure. She doesn't act like it but she doesn't believe she's pretty because the fey blood makes her more appealing. She wishes to be normal for at least one day so that she could see if someone actually liked her for herself.

Alice sat at the edge of the library, reading a large book in a plush chair. Quietly observing those around her, she noticed she was most likely the only one following any rules for study hall. She saw girls talking, using cell phones, snacking on foods and drinks not allowed in the large rows of books, and generally using the time as a early-morning break. Alice thought that she had even seen one classmate asleep amongst the musky pages, using the hour to catch up on her sleep. Again peering over the pages of her book, she took a minute to gaze at a classmate that was fixing up her makeup. Blushing at even this small action, Alice almost immediately went back to her book-- an epic tale of love and adventure, she wished that she was as brave as the characters in the novel.
However, thinking about what she'd do with that bravery was a fantasy that made her flustered all over again, so she quickly went back to reading.
Getting up and stretching a bit, Alice let out a squeak of a yawn, suddenly jealous of the sleeping classmate. She had stayed up too late reading her book again, and it was taking a toll on her. Staying up so late so often couldn't be good for her, but since the stories in her books were the closest things she could call friends, she greedily devoured the text on the pages every night.
Suddenly finding that she was depressing herself with her own thoughts, Alice left the library to get some tea.

Serena's head shot up as soon as she heard the door open and close. She sighed seeing as it had just been another student. She had been the student that was asleep. Serena wasn't particularly a light sleeper she had just trained herself to wake up every time a door opened or closed. That way if a teacher came in she wouldn't be scolded. Not that she would listen to what they had to say, but it gave her headaches. Much like the one she had now.
Looking around, Serena couldn't figure out who had left the room. She didn't really know anyone yet since she had just moved to this school but, she recognized everyone's faces. It didn't seem like anyone was missing. Serena stood up and walked towards the door, deciding she would go take a look for herself.
Serena walked out of the library and silently stalked a girl she believed to be the culprit. She was heading towards the vending machines. Although she could faintly draw out the memory of the girl she did look familiar and cute.
Serena decided to move closer to get a better view of her classmate. She sneakily moved across the hallway to hide behind a pole, only to end up tripping on her untied shoe laces and falling flat on her face. "Ouch." She mumbled, hardly audible since her face was facing the ground.

Alice was just about to buy a cup of tea from the vending machine when she heard something hit the ground. Turning around to check if she had accidentally knocked something onto the ground, she was extremely surprised to see someone there. Suppressing her immediate reaction to run away and hide, Alice slowly and nervously approached the girl who had seemingly face-planted onto the floor.
"A-are you...a-alright?"
Alice couldn't help but notice how cute the girl looked, even--Or is it especially?--(this brought a blush to her cheeks) from behind. Unable to bring herself any closer to the girl, Alice continued to look in concern as she tried to help.
"Ah, um... Sh-should I call the n-nurse? Y-you a-aren't hurt...A-are you?"
Alice hated her own inability to interact with people at that moment. People normally ignored her, so there was never any need to help someone before. Now that she had the chance, she could do nothing but stand a foot or so away and ask if the, admittedly cute, girl was okay.

Serena stayed sitting on the ground and propped herself up with her hands. She had gotten a small cut on her cheek but it'd go away in a few seconds because of the Fey blood.
Serena looked at the girl that had spoken. At least she had gotten closer to her. "I'm fine, I'm fine." Serena said with a wide grin and held up one of her arms shooting the girl a peace sign.
She finally stood up and dusted herself off. She walked closer to the girl and examined her. Serena was just a little bit taller. Which she didn't mind because she hated being the short one in a group. "Hey, were you here since the beginning of the year? What's your name?" Serena questioned bluntly.
If she grew fond of the girl she would be one of the first friends she made at the new school.

Alice backed away a step or two as the mystery girl got up. Her eyes widened in wonder as she saw the cut on the girl's cheek heal almost instantly.
Studying the girl's face once it was visible, Alice found herself blushing. This mystery girl was so cute! Noticing a little too late that she had been staring, Alice tried to look away, hoping she hadn't been caught.
As the girl gave a wide grin and a peace sign, Alice couldn't help but giggle. What kinda person made a show like that outside of her books? The girl was interesting, to say the least.
As the distance between them closed, Alice started to feel nervous. She wasn't used to being this close, especially to a cute girl. Feeling her heart rate go up, she tried to shuffle back a bit.
At the blunt question, she nodded slowly, looking up at the blue-haired girl ever so slightly.
"Ah, I-I've been going here for a few years now, actually..." She looks down and away, almost ashamedly, "People don't really notice me..." At the inquiry as to her name, she looks up, a little surprised. No-one ever asked her name on their own before. "I'm... I'm Alice. Um... What's y-your name?" As Alice's sentence progressed, however, the initial shock wore off and her volume diminished as a result. She was having a tough time with this whole "interaction with other people" thing.

Serena noticed that the girl backed away a bit when she got closer and was a little shocked. Usually people would come up to her and now someone was backing away? Serena thought for a moment that maybe her wish came true and she became normal but her wound had healed already. That had to be anything but normal.
Serena felt a little sorry for Alice when she said no one noticed her. Here she was trying to fit in and Alice probably hated it. "Ah, I'm sorry I didn't notice a pretty girl like you before!" Serena exclaimed. She was never one to hold many of her thoughts in.
"My names Serena." She said pointing to herself with her thumb and her other arm on her waist.
Serena wondered if Alice had any power or something of the sort. When Serena got to the school she had discovered that some of the people here had strange abilities just like herself. So now that question always popped into her mind and out of her mouth. "Hey, do you have any power or ability like other people here? I promise I won't tell." Serena whispered and gave her a wink.

Alice blushed a bright red as she was complimented on her looks. She had never really considered herself attractive, though it didn't help that she was seemingly invisible at times.
"Ah...I...It's okay...I'm--I'm used to it. Not...Not being noticed, that is." She looked down and away again. She didn't like to think about her total lack of friends.
Alice nodded as Serena gave her name. It was odd, most of the time Alice knew who people were, even if it was only from hearing conversations and people-watching. She hadn't met this Serena before. "Nice to meet you, Serena." She smiled a small, timid smile, but could feel that she had already become a little more comfortable around this girl. Only a little.
However, after being questioned if she had any powers, she immediately became nervous again. "I-I...Um, w-well, th-that is..." Unable to answer, she froze up, and immediately blinked out of sight. Her invisibility had just taken effect, triggered by her self-imposed stress. "Ah...D-d-does th-this answer your, ahh... question?" If she could be seen right now, Alice would be looking away in shame as she tries to reappear.

Serena's expression saddened for a second. The way Alice had said it...'It's okay...I'm--I'm used to it. Not...Not being noticed, that is.' It angered Serena just a tiny bit. "It's not okay! You don't really like being alone, or unnoticed do you?" Serena exclaimed with a weary expression on her face. Serena despised being alone. It was something she couldn't stand no matter what,so how could this girl bear it for years?
Serena's mind was easily distracted as Alice's body started to disappear, yet her voice was still there. "That's amazing!" Serena said simply. She couldn't think of any other words to describe it. She was always amazed by people's talents other than her own. She didn't find hers to be that incredible.
Serena giggled when a thought popped into her mind. "It kind of matches you." She said with a smile. Although she wasn't sure if it was a compliment or not.

Alice looked up as Serena berated her. She brought a small, loose fist to her mouth, though Serena wouldn't be able to see.
"I...I like being...near people...Sometimes. I...I just get so...nervous." She laughs, "It-it's kinda funny, ac-actually...M-most of the t-time I-I'm out of sight b-by now. If I d-don't run away...I f-freeze and disappear."
As Serena again complimented her, it brought a blush to her cheeks, which were slowly becoming visible, along with the rest of her. As Serena commented on Alice's ability, she smiled shyly. "It's nothing special... So I guess it does match me. It's good for when I'm reading, so no-one bothers me..." She smiled ruefully, aware that she had started to put herself down again. Perking up a bit, she asked Serena, "Um...what can you do?"

Serena smiled, she knew there was no way she'd like being alone. She was a little confused thought. "What is there to be nervous about?" She asked, tilting her head a little to the side.
It was a habit Serena had picked up from one of the kids in her old neighborhood.
She frowned a little when Alice said her power was just like her because it was nothing special. "I met it was like you because your so shy. Not because it's nothing special, which isn't the case because I find it absolutely amazing." Serena stated in a matter of fact tone and stuck out her tongue at Alice.
Serena was already getting comfortable with Alice.
For some reason she was a little shocked when Alice asked her what she could do. She didn't like talking about her fey blood that much because she disliked it. "Oh, it's nothing. Not even an ability it just comes with the blood that's in me. I was born human with fey blood from my father. It really only makes me heal faster than normal, more appealing to people and I guess you could say more convincing." Serena said with a nervous laugh.

Alice smiled back at Serena, finding the blue-haired girl's attitude slightly infectious.
"I...I just get nervous around people." Alice giggled at Serena's attitude towards her power, "Really? I'm glad someone likes it, then." She smiled, feeling at ease after speaking to this girl for only a few minutes. It was odd how she was able to talk with Serena as if they were friends catching up after spending a long time away from one another.
As Serena revealed her heritage, Alice's eyes went wide with wonder and excitement for a moment. "Ooo, Fey blood? That sounds interesting... I should read about it, see if there's anything else you can do with it. Though...You are interesting. To me, anyway. But...Not because of any powers, I think. You...you're just an interesting girl to me." She smiled. "I...I like you, Serena. You....you want to, um...be...friends?" She smiled shyly, pawing the tile a bit with her shoe.

For some reason what Alice had said made Serena blush a tiny bit. "Of course we can be friends! Who wouldn't want to be friends with you Alice?" Serena said and smiled sweetly.
She wanted to say that she probably did find her interesting because of her powers but she actually kept that for herself. "Ah, I'm not that interesting." She said with a small fake smile.
"What do you say we skip study hall and do something a little more fun?" She said trying to change the subject. Although she hadn't thought of anything yet, she didn't think Alice would agree with her anyways. Though she wracked her brain until she finally got an idea. "Like maybe we can go get ice cream. There's a store right around the corner but this school has some tight security so, I'll need your help." Serena said with a wink. She usually just used her power but she wanted to see what Alice could do. If she said it was okay.
