Our band director had a sense of humor...
Last year our show opener was from Elmo in Grouchland.
But this year we have a circus themed show...so we play that constant circus theme...

We're doing "Inferno di Dante" by Key Poulan, originally performed by the Italian drum corps, MillenniuM
I love working with Mr. Poulan; he's an excellent instructor and really built my school's program up. But, after doing his shows since freshman year, it's become a bit of a drag. His shows share many similar elements, and after a while, they all start sounding the same. But, the one day a week or so he works with us is totally worth it. heart

Our songs are Trailblazer, Shenandoah, and When Jonny Comes Marching Home. Our show is like some Old West show or something along the lines of that.

Well, we didn't really have a show theme, so we kinda did random songs. I believe the last show theme we had was:
Supercalifragulisticexpyaladocious -Mary Poppins
Thriller -Micheal Jackson
We Will Rock You -Queen
and then the Percussion just did a small ensoumble (excuse me if I spell that wrong >_<) of:
Tubz (On Chairs) -Josh Gottry

Last year's show: Hoe Down, Hayburner, Promise of Living, Copland Finale, and the themes of a bunch of westerns. We got to play the blazing saddles theme... Our show was the American West.
This year: African Safari Themed. The only movement we've received thus far is "Minuano", which is apparantly going to be five minutes of a seven minute field show... And my bd's writing another three minute chorale.
