Since that night Tori went out for Orchestra practice and had 'snuck off' to see Philip she had not been home. However, to keep her parents from coming to find her she had sent them text messages about every other day with small updates as to how she was doing. She had given them a vague idea where she was in the first three but not so much after that.

She had for the first time stretched the the truth to benifit her. She had told them she was traveling with the Orchestra. It wasn't entirely false as she had played for people she hadn't played for before... of course this was after she'd settled into her new 'skin'.

Now that Philip was gone as well as his killers Tori debated on returning home. To much had changed and she really didn't know what to do from here on out. But in the end they were her parents and she owed it to them to just not vanish.

She slid open the main door and stood just inside. It hardly felt like home. She carefully shifted her enchanted bag so that it was still on her arm but behind her.

She knew her parents and she knew that they would her her coming in. They would know it was her... She sighed softly, inwardly. There was no preparing for this...

Since Victoria’s disappearance Kaida hadn’t done anything but fret. Oh she hid it well, not wanting to worry the girls or burden Cas, but as a mother she couldn’t help it. It didn’t matter that they received texts from Victoria’s phone regularly, anyone could be sending them, and even if it was Victoria it was no guarantee that she was well. It didn’t help that she’d called the Orchestra and found out that they weren’t doing any tours and that Victoria had not been seen for a while, she’d nearly been literally sick with worry when she heard that.

But in the end there wasn’t anything she could do but trust her little girl, it wasn’t like this was the first time she’d run. She’d always been so independent. Still, each night she didn’t come home or even call them properly a little bit of Kaida cried. If it wasn’t for their other children she would have been out there flying high and trying to find their little girl, screw how much she obviously wanted to be left alone. After all Kaida knew as well as anyone how much trouble one could get up to out there.

At that though her hand trailed up to her neck, brushing over an old wound that resided there. Sighing she pushed the thoughts out of her mind; they would do her no good. As she did so a sound reached her ears, someone at the front door. Who could be coming to them this late? The girls where in bed and Vlad was somewhere around, doing heavens know what. Then it hit her like a flash, hope filling her heart.

Dashing towards the door the scent of her hit her like a wave, something was different but it still essentially her. Bursting into view she let out a gasp, “Victoria!”. Oh god! Her little- wow not so little, girl was home! Letting out a small sob she closed the distance between them and scooped her up in a fierce hug, willing to put the most immediate questions out of her mind for the second as she basked in the fact that her eldest was home.

Tori was actually more than a little glad that it was just her mom to greet her. She wasn't expecting such an opened armed welcome. She wrapped her arms around her mother, but the hug was distant- all it said was yes it is me. "You are best to stay away from me," she whispered.

"I should have never come back home." It was the truth because what if the hunters came for her here. Sure she made it a point to hunt them so that her odds of survival were higher... But if they came here that put her family in danger.

She wiggled herself from her mothers arms and took a step back. She kept it so her mom couldn't look her in the eyes.
