Hey everyone, I've just been accepted into this great guild, and since there doesn't seem to be an introduction thread, I figured I'd make this one so people can find out more about each other. I hope the mods don't mind. sweatdrop

Anyway, just give some basic information. Your name or whatever you want to be called, your hobbies, your favorite anime (just in case it's not RK), why it's your favorite, etc. You could also include some general RK info about yourself, like favorite character, why you love the series, that kind of stuff. (But be brief - there are other threads for in-depth discussion on these topics, and I don't want to be ripping off other people's threads.) And of course, feel free to add in anything else that you feel your fellow guild members should know.

Basic Information: So to start things off, you can all just refer to me as Celes or Celestial, since my username is a bit long. sweatdrop I love all kinds of music, doodling and writing in my spare time, and reading - mainly horror, mystery, and fantasy. I'm obsessed with martial arts, and I've been learning Genbukan Ninpo (aka Ninjutsu) for around 2 years. I'm also trying to teach myself something called 'Tricking', and bboying. (If anyone wants to talk about martial arts, tricking, or anything else, please feel free to contact me.)

General RK Info: I stumbled upon Rurouni Kenshin a couple years ago, while trying to figure out which anime I should watch next. I downloaded the whole series off Kazaa (horrible quality), but later bought myself the DVDs and manga. I love Rurouni Kenshin because of how deep it is, and all the morals that it teaches. The storyline was definitely new to me, and I really like the way Watsuki developed all the characters. And my favorite would have to be Kenshin, probably for all the same reasons everyone else loves him. I think I've always had a latent love for martial arts/action/fighting, and this is what sparked that interest. That's another reason RK means to much to me - it's the reason I started learning ninjutsu. I've made a lot of friends through ninjutsu, become more confident, and now I'm doing things I'd have never thought possible if I'd just stayed in front of the computer all day. So no matter how old I get, RK will always mean a lot to me and be my favorite anime. Even so, I'm still an avid otaku, so I'm still watching anime, although not as much as I used to.

Some of my favorites include: Naruto, Trigun, Noir, and Cowboy Bebop.

Other ones I've watched are: Ah! Megami-Sama!, Cardcaptors, Sailormoon, Serial Experiments Lain, Witch Hunter Robin, Crest of the Stars, Megami Kohousai (Hope I spelled that right, please correct me otherwise), Chobits, .Hack //Sign, Hikaru No Go, Tenchi, InuYasha, Love Hina, Shaman King, Weiss Kreuz, and YuYu Hakusho. I probably left out some, and I haven't watched the full series for some of these.

I started watching anime with Dragonball Z, too bad I haven't seen the first one or the sequel. I think it's DB GT and I barely saw an episode here on a local channel. I have seen other anime since then, I remember when Cartoon Network Latin America said it was gonna carry Samurai X and I started watching cuz Samurai & ninja stuff really appeal to me. I got hooked and I think the concept is great. Too bad I can't watch it anymore cuz CNLA took it off it's programming. Sucks huh? Still, I have watched Card captors as well, Inuyasha, Shinzo, Captain Tsubasa (which I hated), and I think there may be a couple more but I fergot the names.

My all time favorite anime are Inuyasha and Samurai X and that's why I am writing a crossover fic about the two shows. Maybe I should post or something, if you all think it's ok that is.

Well, that's it for me. Maybe someday I will buy me a DVD or something about the first seasons of Samurai X, before it is called that way. I haven't seen anything about Rurouni Kenshin just yet but I definitely will.
