This is where the wrestlers who didn't advance in the King of MUSCLE Tournament post their opinions on the outcome of the match. You don't have to post if you don't want to.

*YAMATO walks toward the cameras backstage, taking a seat in front of all the cameras. His hair is looking more a mess than normal, the man breathing heavily as he starts to talk.*

"Oi..this is just a setback. Nothing more than that. There's still the wild card, ne? And I hope that I see that f*****t teacher again when I get that spot. I'll make him hate men so much he'll want to think of nothing but p***y."

*YAMATO grins, too out of it to laugh apparently.*

"Nan'de? Dakara, Champion ga ore da. I am a champion and anyone else is scum."

*Walks in, shaking his head. Throws YAMATO a towel and sits next to him, pointing at the camera.*

"...Yeah, I know what you're thinking...my comrade here is out of the game. He was beaten by a low rate World Wrestling Entertainment jobber and an even worse commentator...but is that something to get down about? Ha...not on your life..."

*Wipes hair out of his eyes and grins at the camera.*

"You know what...not too long ago, I taught YAMATO that despite the fact that me and him don't see eye-to-eye, we're both alike in ways that he wouldn't bother admitting, and he can deny it for as long as he wants, but it's the truth...even though I dislike him, I have to say...there is no one else I'd rather have as an associate than the man next to me. You see, YAMATO and I are two pieces of dog s**t under the shoe that is MUSCLE LAND. We're nothing to them, but a nuisance that must be scraped out of their view, but underneath all of that, we're two brilliant individuals that have something over the rest of the roster...we may not be able to run fast, we may not be able to climb on the top rope, and surely we're not the best when it comes to wrestling...but what we may lack, we make up for with the fact that we're both gifted with superior intelligence. We're smarter than all of you. Smarter than you with our grasp of ring presence, the human emotion, we read each and everyone of you like a book neither us can put down, which in turn makes you our prey...and what happened tonight is just a flaw. A flaw YAMATO will overcome, because I believe deep down in my core, that he'll win that wild card and advance, because KAMIKAZE USA...we may ******** up once, but never twice and that's nothing but the truth..."

*Wipes his nose and stands up.*

"C'mon...I'll buy ya a drink..."

*Looks at Moxley with those big, brown orbs of his, taking in everything as he towels off, and actually kind of surprised that his drug-addicted, alcoholic partner is sort of eloquent. But he just grins by the end of it, getting back to his feet, still a bit wobbly on them.*

"Yosou. I'd kill for a Sapporo."

*He tosses the towel about his shoulders and leaves, almost knocking a few camera people aside in his wake.*

BOB SAPP TIME

*A camera man catches up with Bob Sapp, whom has just come in from the back from his loss against Minowaman, sweat glistening off of the skin of the gigantic man. He puts a hand up to his bald head and shakes it, trying to shake off the effects of the finishing touches. Speaking of, as Sapp goes quietly and slowly down the hallway, he turns to one of the monitors set in the back, which is showing the replay of the end of the match, which was not very favorable for the big man. Sapp takes a deep breath, then lifts the monitor and smashes it on the ground, yelling out his frustrations of being on the losing end yet again against Minowa. He turns his attention to the camera man, who is backing away, afraid of anything Sapp would do, but Sapp doesn't seem like he wants to smash the camera. Not yet, anyway. Breathing deeply, Sapp begins to speak, his words slurred a bit from the effects of the match.*

"Minowaman.. fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I hope that we meet again, and I hope even more that it is for the championship.. because that will make this final victory sweeter, that much more meaningful.. when I CRUSH YOU."

*At the final yell, he smacks the camera out of the hands of the camera man, which falls to the floor, where the outro is a very symbolic, familiar and disturbing at times sound, the belly laugh of Bob Sapp.*

*Brodie walks out form The Arena through the fire escape where he's greeted by a flock of MUSCLE Land reporters. Brodie puts his hands in his pocket and tries to walk pass the reporters. They fallow him, pestering him for a interview time. Brodie gets more physical as he gets closer and closer to the parking lot; shoving them off him.*

mad

*Brodie finally snaps under all the pressure and GRABS the camera man and throws his back up against wall. Brodie breaths in deep as his face turns bright red; showing off his teeth and the rage in his eyes. in fear, the cameraman drops the camera. He begs for mercy; Brodie looks down at the camera and throws him to the side. He picks up the camera and takes a few big breathes before finally getting the words out.

"I'LL. BE. BACK."

*Brodie then throws the camera as far as he can. the camera catches every single frame of the sky, the ground and all the surroundings before it finally hits the pavement; ending the frightening interview.*

-ROH- Samoa Joe

PostPosted: Thu Aug 05, 2010 5:50 am

Joe is sitting on a chair just behind the entrance curtain. You can hear the roars of the crowd and the slams of bodies hitting the mat as another match in the tournament goes on. Joe is drenched in sweat, his damp towel slung around his neck and sticking to his skin. There are lumps and bruises on his forehead from his match with Brock and one of his eyes looks to be slightly swelled. The noise from the crowd beyond is near deafening. Joe raises his head as he sees the camera approach. He raises his hand slowly to his forehead tentatively touching the welts on his face. The camera moves in further as Joe begins to speak, attempting to catch as many words as it can over the red hot Philadelphia crowd.

"I'm not going to sit here and try and make any excuses. I never have before and I'll be damned if I am going to start now. Everyone knew before you came here Brock that you were the real deal. You may renounce your past now that you are on top of the MMA food chain but I know why you are here. I knew as soon as I stood in that ring with you and looked into your eyes. It's not that you want to prove that wrestling is inferior. It's because you were once the best and after all of your MMA success you feel people have forgotten about your wrestling. I didn't forget. And another thing I won't forget is the look in your eyes when you saw me slap you in the mouth. You see I think you have been away too long. Caught up in your little MMA bubble you seem to have started to buy in to all of the hyperbole surrounding you. How you're the baddest man on the planet. How there is no one who can beat you. How what you did before meant nothing. How what you did before was "fake". Was it fake Brock when I smashed your face in with my forearm? Was it fake Brock when I threw you around with my suplexs? You can say what ever you want to say, but I won't believe you. Because I am the man who, after years of you being caught up in your little bubble, I am the man who looked you in the eyes and saw what you felt.

"But, at the end of the day you still beat me. Is this because you are a real fighter in a fake world? No. I'm sure that there will be countless people in your camp or team or whatever you want to call it who will tell you it is because of this, but let me assure you that it isn't. Because before you were a great mixed martial artist, and you are great, but before all of that you were a phenomenal professional wrestler. That is why you beat me. And underneath all of those sponsorships and coaches and logos, underneath that all you know that I am right.

"But enough about you. You beat me. So what?

"I'm not upset I lost. Because this?"

Joe brings his hand up again and touches the welt and bruises on his forehead.

"This is what I've missed. I came to MUSCLE LAND to push myself again. I came here because I wanted to prove myself again. And going out there and getting my a** handed to me proves that I made the right decision.

"Before tonight I told the entire world that I still am Pro Wrestling. And just because I lost that doesn't change a thing. Losing is all apart of the game. But tonight is not over for me. Not yet. There is still that wild card spot and, come hell or high water, I am going to get that second chance and I am going to leave this building the King of MUSCLE."

Joe wipes his face with his towel, cleaning it of all of the remaining sweat. He pushes himself from his seat and walks out of frame. The camera spins around to catch him walking through a locker room door.

*Instead of sitting in the locker rooms chatting with the boys, collecting his paycheck for working two matches, and getting some rest and relaxation for future shows, the Superhero from Splash Heaven is in the medic room currently having the blood wiped off his face. After a few minutes of "this will only sting a little" and "stay still", the cameras do a close-up of the doctors stitching Minowaman's cut cheek from the strike exchange between him and Joe. The camera now had a view of beloved fighter's face which was now red, bruised, and swollen. Minowa took an ice pack from one of the medic's and put it to his stitched cheek, and looked to the camera, finally about to speak.*

"....Not only did Kinniku Spirit fail me, but worst of all, I have failed all of you. I climbed mountains...I ran marathons....I slept in the woods for three days without food and water just to be crowned King of Kinniku, but it obviously wasn't enough, showing a sign that Minowaman must train harder and better to gain what's rightfully his. I'm going back to Japan to get my head straight, but before I go...I have something to say to Samoa Joe...you didn't shake my hand. You showed no respect towards me and you bested me tonight...but let the blood dripping all over the face, the bruises all over your body, the aching in your bones, the air that escapes your lungs, the hands of time now hours away from when we first met eye-to-eye in that ring be a reminder to you that Minowaman is not a joke, a gimmick, a 'real life' cartoon character as I've heard from my critics...and the next time we meet, I'm not going to ask for your respect. I'm going to make you respect me...Kinniku Spirit watches Minowaman always."

*Weakly fist pumps to the camera for his fans at home, then leaves the medic's out of camera shot.*

Striker walks backstage, obviously angry.

"Joey Ryan is a scumbag. His asinine antics have no place in an establishment such as MUSCLE LAND. My students, I will personally see to it that as soon as the KOM tournament is completed, Joey Ryan will learn his lesson"
