T h e P o k e m o n W o r l d is a world where humans and Pokemon live in harmony within one another.
They help each other throughout life and keep the world in balance... at least, that's how the ancient life lived.
In the present, it is far from a utopia.
As we bring the setting into the regions of K a n t o and J o h t o we see how their ancestors lived side by side. They shared the same terrain and and a border evenly separating the giant land mass. In between these two mighty regions were the Indigo Plateau, where the Pokemon League would later be held for the two regions centuries later and Mt. Silver, a gargantuan mountain whose peak punctured the very clouds. The friendly regions agreed to grant the Indigo Plateau to Kanto and the massive Mt. Silver to Johto.
That was many centuries ago.T e n years have passed since the legendary Red conquered the Indigo Plateau and eliminated the threatening Team Rocket.S e v e n years have passed since the invasion of Johto by the revived Team Rocket.
T h r e e years have passed since the destruction of the friendship between Kanto and Johto. You see, the massive Mt. Silver was found to have mass amounts of E v o p o w d e r beneath the mountain. Evopowder was later found to enhance the potential of the Pokemon threefold. At this discovery, Kanto tried to claim the rights to Mt. Silver saying it was within their territory. Johto refused, bringing up the ancient land rights.
The decision was left up to the Pokemon League. As the Elite Four has a split opinion coming from Johto and Kanto, the decision was left to Lance, the Champion.
However, before the press conference, the Dragon Master mysteriously disappeared.
With no proper decision made, the last option became war. The Pokemon League between Kanto and Johto crumbled, non-existent. The war has lasted three years to this day and is still occuring. In fact, there's a rumor that Team R o c k e t is resurrecting...
Where do you come in? M a y b e you have been in the war since day one. M a y b e you are just enrolling into the war.
M a y b e you aren't in the war. If you're part of the H o e n t o A l l i a n c e you're most likely in Vermillion...
If you're part of the S i n j o h A l l i a n c e you're probably at Goldenrod...
If you didn't take sides O n e I s l a n d was your safe bet... Maybe the truth will reveal itself as the story unfolds...

Rules
1. This is a semi-literate, long-term, active roleplay. (Or at least I'm hoping.) Post at least 2 lines per post. If you can't post within 2 days, this RP won't work for you. I'm looking for a minimum of 1-2 posts per day. Stay active, don't leave people hanging. Involve everyone. Use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and all that good stuff. I will be strict on this!
2. I'm looking at this for characters.
Maximum of 20 (might change if you're a special exception)
Minimum 5 Male
Minimum 5 Female
Minimum 5 Team Rocket members So if you're looking for these positions, you'll have a better chance of joining.
NOTE: You can roleplay multiple people if you can handle it.
3. Since there is only one of every legendary in this roleplay, there is enough for each person, but please message me ahead of time.
4. You're not unstoppable so be leniant on how many hits you take and deliver, minor auto-hitting is fine. No battle system will be used. Just pure imagination. Be realistic, if you have an important battle, PM the other person and discuss the results with them. You win some, you lose some.
5. Romance is an absolute! So have fun with it! Just no cybering in the forum. (Take it to Mt. Skype. ;D)
6. Please PM me your profiles and use the profile I provide. Title them with "I will win this war for" as well as your region.
7. You can be a beginner or you can be experienced. Preferred experienced trainers because afterall, it is a WAR.
8. Cussing, Violence, and Some Drama is preferred. :3

K a n t oThe catalyst of the war. Despite the war being fairly equal, Kanto has some distinct advantages.
The Silph Co. has the main headquarters in the capital of Saffron. J o h t oThe main defendant of the war.
Despite the war being fairly equal, the lack of technological advancement is holding them back.
The mining of Evopowder has helped them greatly. H o e n nAn island region with many different terrains located southwest of Johto.
Hoenn was neutral territory until they joined the war one year ago after Johto attempted to cut off a supply ship from Kanto to Hoenn.
Because of this alliance, later dubbed the "Hoento" alliance, the Devon Corporation and Silph Co. made a company merge.
The Hoenn harbours of Slateport and Lilycove have become essential, shipping good and trainers in and out of the region daily since the war. S i n n o hA island region north of Johto and Kanto with the legendary Mt. Coronet as its landmark.
Sinnoh was also neutral territory until Johto came to them, asking for help.
Because of ancient connections, they created the "Sinjoh" alliance.
They also believe that Johto has the rights to Mt. Silver.
Like Hoenn, ships and transport go in and out of the country frequently. S e v i iA archipelago just south of Kanto. They have declared the area neutral territory.
This has been enforced by the many elite trainers.
The famous Prof. Oak has also taken refuge here, not wanting to take place in the war.
Knot (One) Island has been dubbed the "capital" of the Sevii Islands. R o c k e tAh, the infamous Team Rocket.
They say it has been resurrected again.
Special agents have spotted them on both sides of the war.
Could they be using the war as a cover for true motives?
Could they be hiding in a base in the Sevii Island Archipelago?
Only time can tell...
