pointless and too different from the games, or a great idea made better by effects? give your opinions on the show (if you've seen it: i only saw a few eps cause a friend bought the entire collection) or just mock the characters. since it's probably one of the least known of additions to FF, it's hard to make a good parody of. ninja

I liked it, even though it was pretty campy. I have to admit that i was highly and repeatedly amused by Chobi dragging Ai around by her hair, I think she deserved it =)
Yeah, and the animation and character design were a little weird, but it wasn't too bad. the English voice actors sucked bigtime (go figure), but I think the Japanese seiyuu did a really good job. The Lords of Gaudium were definitely amusing/creepy. All in all, I thought it was pretty decent, enough to watch it a couple of different times with a couple of different friends.

I've seen the first 3 to 4 Episodes of it...but I find it funny...go Chobi!
Ai did deserve that...insulting a Poor Chocobo!

I really liked it, but it made the same mistake as Spirits Within. It used the Final Fantasy name, but didn't give us anything -- besides Chobi -- with Final Fantasy in it!
On its own, I think that it's great. I loved the art and the characters... the story was okay... but my expectations of what it should be like kind of bummed me, at first.
Now though, I don't care. I watch it anyway. n__n

As much as I enjoy Final Fantasy, both animes that have come out under the name Final Fantasy where just not good, at all. Though I did enjoy the older Final Fantasy, which I forget the name of, but I got the first 5 dvds for Final Fantasy Unlimited and couldn't get past the 3rd one.

FF Unlimited was I think a pretty good anime. I mean they had all the color chocobo's and stuff like that. Plus even tho its storyline was kinda not based off the game its pretty dang close enough with saving the world and shyt. But Chobi was the best out of them all even tho he was a baby he was pretty dang on smart for a little one.

It's okay. It's not the best though. The art was extremely simplistic...wouldn't you expect more detail when concerning characters?

I thought it was pretty good. I havent actually watched the last 2 dvds yet, but I plan on doing that eventually.
