Yes but do you understand the Golem part? Near the beginning a Hitler refutes a head Nazi's suggestion that "The Bear Jew" is perhaps a golem.

That's mediocre.

I think I have the record for most roundabout name comes from my Gengar, Power Ranger.

In the Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger theme, the song states "No one will ever take them down". Takedown, the move, is a normal type, and since normal moves do not hit ghost types, with the exclusion of the ability Scrappy, no one will ever Takedown my Gengar. Therefore, Gengar is a power ranger.

I also wanted to make an ambipom with only the move Last Resort (Which I found out doesn't work) named Steve Brule.

My Gyarados switches in to a Electivire named Ackbar. Because it's a trap, and all.

Not exactly clever, but I doubt anyone will get the reference of me having an Alakazam named Thufir, and a Gallade named Halleck. One that is kinda clever with the same reference is my Muk named Tleilaxu.

Wow. You guys have me beat for clever nicknames. Though I have a few inventive ones myself. The most related to the topic would be my Electivire named AC/DC. It has multiple meanings, as A, C, and D are types of batteries, and the band AC/DC has a song called "Thunderstruck", which is just plain awesome. I figured it worked well for him. Aside from that, I have a bunch of legendary nicknames (thoroughly explained in another nickname thread running around here somewhere), and a number of Organization XIII related nicknames and anagram names. Lexocter is the most recent of them, moving the letters in Electro around and adding an X. The pronunciation makes it sound frenchy. What do you guys think?

I mean, beyond the obvious Alternating Current/ Direct Current thing.

I have a Meowth named Fortuna. First, the obvious, it means "fortune" and Meowth is pretty much just a Poke-version of the Maneki Neko, otherwise known as the "Lucky kitty" or "Fortune kitty". Second, taking the name apart into two pieces, you get the words/phrase: For Tuna... being a cat and all.. without spelling it out any more than that, the rest should make sense.

I named my Mismagius Chuck since I kept saying "she" when it was a "he"
Named my Gyarados JIT since I tapped 3 random letters.
Ive been doing 3 random letters ever since (only rule is it cant be reused and needs a vowel in its name)

I just use names from Shakespear's plays, stories, and poems! I think they sound the coolest! But I do kinda try to get the pokemon to match what type of character they are!
