Vashti ventured out of her father's den on her never ending quest for skills. She had learned several things already, but it just wasn't enough for her. Vashti wanted to be the greatest banu there ever was. One her future pad could be truly proud of as he has her show off her skills.
The small banu licked at the smooth waters of the lake while taking in her appearance. Her hair was a bit messed up but she really did not care that much today. Suddenly an odd feeling over took her. She closed her eyes, it was happening again! Vashti did not know what kept happening to her. She would feel sick and then she would see images she never understood. In her mind she could see a lioness wrapped in clouds.
"Geez I hope I'm not crazy." She mumbled to herself.

 Though they were not allowed to wander too far, that same lake was near where Nyline and her family were staying for now. So it was a somewhat normal occurrence as of late for the budding young lioness to go down and get a drink in the morning.
She wasn't paying all that much attention as she walked, thinking about who might possibly want her as a Banu - who her father might choose, what he would be like...
So she blinked in surprise when she looked up and saw a younger female there too. "Oh! Good morning."

Vashti turned to the voice and just stared at Nylina. The little banu Vashti looked like she had seen a ghost. Could this be what she had seen, but how was that possible? Vashti did not know this lioness so why had she seen her like that?
After a few moments she blinks and seemed to snap out of it. "Good morning Banu." Vashti said smiling trying to cover up her moment of shock. She admired the Lioness's coat it was like the sky was just dancing on her pelt. She wished she could look like that sometimes she worried her looks were do drab and she could not glow like her father did. "My name is Banu Vashti by the way."

"Good morning, Vashti," Nyline answered warmly, dropping the title more out of habit than anything else. After all, she'd never used it with her own siblings so it was... simply how she was used to talking. "I'm Nyline."
Bending her head to get a quick drink, Nyline wondered who this little one was related to... not that Vashti was really all that much younger than she was. But soon she'd be leaving her family to go to a Pad, and that somehow made the gap in their ages seem larger. "Who is your father?" she asked curiously.

"A pleasure to meet you." Vashti did not mind the title drop she wasn't fond of saying titles all the time, but in her quest to become the perfect banu or beybanu she made sure to stick to it.
Vashti got to her paws and traveled over to the other lioness wishing she was the same age as Nyline. She would get to go to her pad soon, maybe she even knew who it was already.
"Oh my father is Nywele the god of manes." Vashti chirped looking very proud. She felt like being the daughter of a god gave her some sort of edge, maybe even though she did not know she was a seer. "Who is your father? Do you have a pad picked for you yet?" Vashti asked looking excited she want to know what pads were getting chosen for the in pride females. After all no father would send his daughters to a bad pad right?

Indeed, Nyline's eyes widened a bit at that. Her father was a god..? She had heard of such things, but had never met someone who was the child of a god before. She wondered if Vashti's life was any different from her own because of it... but the other female had asked her a question first.
"Achal is my father. He's very nice... I've met a few Pads, but I don't think he's chosen one for me yet... he probably will soon."

"Achal Achal...." Vashti tapped her paw to her chin. "Yes I know the name of the pad though I have not met him. He is Banu Thuraya's father to is he not?" Vashti asked with a grin she prided herself with remembering names. "I know Banu Thuraya through Banu Kifa, they are good friends now in Pad Kwea's harem." Vashti giggled a little before speaking again. "I'm asking you so many questions, would you like to ask me any? One can only learn when both sides are questioned yes?"

Nyline had thought that everyone at least knew of her father, so hearing that Vashti did know his name was nice. "I don't mind answering questions, really," she told the younger lioness with a quick smile.
Ah, but there was something she could ask. "Are there any Pads that you would like to be with when you get older?"

Vashti gave her paw a quick lick but as Nyline asked her question she kneaded the ground with some excitement.
"Oh I just don't know yet. I like Mirsajadi but he is so young. Then there is Egeman`Psyche, but his father Kwea is said to have a heavy paw, but if I behave which I will that will never be a problem if he is the same. Ive considered Atash from a far but he does not even seem interested in anyone. Riad'Naim is also and impressive looking pad but I nor my father know anything about him. Do you have any suggestions? Brothers maybe?" Vashti giggles a bit enjoying this conversation very much now.

Wow, she knew of lots of Pads... even though Nyline was older, she hadn't met that many. "I feel kind of silly because I don't ... have a lot of choices in mind, really," she admitted with a little embarrassed duck of her head. "But I'm sure that whoever my father picks for me will be wonderful..."
She smiled then, and thought for a moment. "Most of my brothers are really nice..."

"Maybe we could go about and meet some Nyline? Knowing the pads family helps you to choose too I think." Vashti tilted her head a little. "My father is pretty much letting me choose which pad I want. Though he says he had the final say which I respect."
Vashti's ears perked with interest and she leaned in just a bit. "Please do go on, I am not sure I have met any of your brothers."

"Oh, I'd like that! If you want to, that is," Nyline replied with a quick smile. Already, even though Vashti was younger, Nyline felt almost as if the other female was another sister to her.
"And well... Namir is really the only one I've talked to a lot. I know that he would be kind to any Banus that belonged to him."
