Somewhere on the beach his sister was playing Volleyball with a bunch of kids her own age and his Mother was seated under an umbrella with a snoozing toddler upon her lap. Wolfram decided to go exploring on his own since there was no other reason for him to not do so. He stared about the mostly vacant area pondering to himself as his golden eyes flicked from one side to the other before he looked down. It was one of those days where Wolfram just wasn't sure what to do just yet other than finding something neat that he could take home and add to his 'treasure' pile that he had in his room. It was slowly growing but it never seemed enough!
He knelt and picked up a couple of shiny seashells and a couple of pebbles, he was enthralled in looking them over and for now Wolfram was very much unaware of what was going on around him. If he had realized that he was treading somewhere possibly dangerous perhaps he would have avoided the area all together, but that was very unlikely.
He was a thief that laughed in the face of danger.

There were two crudely made signs on either end of Leviathan's territory that proclaimed a certain stretch of beach as being his and that trespassers would be eaten. Not that he had actually ever eaten a human but that threat seemed to work out rather well as only the very occasional person came to invade and thus far both of those people, Vance and Bug, had amused him enough that he hadn't bothered to eat them like the sign said he would.
Maybe he should add a side note that said that uninteresting people would be eaten but then again anything and everyone that thought themselves interesting would then be trekking all over his territory and he didn't want that. Bad enough he had to share it with the fish brain kid that came from the sapphire he'd stolen. The sea serpent opened his eyes and looked around for a moment, rolling over onto his stomach and pushed off the ocean floor to move toward the surface, peeking out toward where someone small was wandering through his territory. What was it with kids wandering into his space? More over what was it with parents letting their kids wander about in his space? They really needed pummeled!
He couldn't be bothered wit yet another lost kid he thought to himself, sinking back under the water, "Hey! Pinky, go and deal with the invader on the beach." He order, his tone giving no room for argument, not that the Zora had it in him to raise a fuss when it came to his 'Lord's' orders. Instead he abandoned the task that he'd last been appointed so that he could swim toward the shore, peeking out to see what sort of person he'd been told to deal with, then pushed up to his webbed feet and started out of the water toward him. Hopefully this would go well, he doubted his Lord would be very happy if he were unable to banish this kid from the beach.

Wolfram turned over his newest acquisitions before he deemed them worthy of taking and tucked them into a pouch at his hip. He stood and dusted off his jointed hands and his crossbar adjusted so he wouldn't bump his head as he stood up. He happened to gaze out toward the water when he noticed a head floating about in the water and coming toward him. He tilted his head and rested them against his hips, "What's all this about? Am I gettin' to see a legendary mermaid too?" he asked with interested as he watched.
Obviously the marionette didn't know a Zora from any other aquatic life on the beach. Still he was interested in seeing what would come of this so he waited. He had planned to leave after he got a collection of things but now things had gotten interesting!

Guppy paused when the other turned to look at him and referred to him as a 'legendary mermaid' which had him eyes going wide and his fins twitching a little. It was a nice thought to be called a 'legendary' anything when more often then not he was called things like 'servant' and 'minion' and the like. He glanced toward the water before shaking his head as he recalled what it was that he was supposed to be doing, "I... I am supposed to chase your out of my Lord's territory." He told Wolfram, sounding as though he weren't exactly the best candidate for being a bouncer but he was trying his best.
"There are signs at either side of the beach where his territory ends... so anywhere outside of them are fine for you to go to." The Zora said, motioning in either direction. He could only hope that this would be easy... if he were able to do this maybe he would rise to a bit higher then just 'minion' in Leviathan's eyes.

He stared at the being and tilted his head and grinned a bit when he was told that he was being chased off and then was 'informed' of the signs. Wolfram glanced over at them and reached up to rub at his jaw, "Is that what it said? I could barely read them, Friend. They weren't very legible at all," the Marionette tasted metal in his mouth and decided now was a good time to try and keep his silvering tongue hidden before it was figured out that he was telling falsehoods. He had read the signs clearly and with disinterest.
Keeping his head tilted back a bit so that the other couldn't peer into his mouth, "I guess I'll leave then...Surprised you'd let someone boss ya around like that, bein' all awesome and such."
Truly Wolfram admired the being in the water for various reasons.

He could barely read them? He would need to make sure that Leviathan didn't hear that as he was rather proud of his signs that he'd made and put up to keep people out. He gave a glance toward the water before looking back to the other boy and gave him a smile, "Thank you, its most appreciated." He said, looking a little surprised that the other boy was going to listen so well and leave so easily. He wasn't quite sure what it was about what he'd said that helped in making the trespasser leave but he was happy to hear about it. It was a good sign and he hoped that it meant that his Master would be pleased with him.
The other boy's next words caught Guppy a bit off guard, "H-Huh?" He murmured, looking a little confused over being called awesome, that was a far cry from what his Master called him after all which to him was more then a little startling, "I... ahh... well... its just how it is, Leviathan is my Master." Not by choice but because the guy had been the one that had woke him up. Not to mention that Leviathan was so much stronger then he was which meant he was unable to stand against him when any of his orders were issued. He shook his head to clear his racing thoughts, "T-Thank you for the compliment though." He said, his little fins twitching in delight at the thought that there was even one person around that saw him as awesome instead of just as a servant.

Wolfram grinned cheerfully as he watched the other take well to the compliments and praise. At least he wasn't being unfriendly! He shifted his weight side to side a bit, "Do ya gotta go back right away, Friend? We can wander away a bit so that I am not on yer Master's territory and we can play a game or somethin'." It seemed that this tightly wound boy needed some fun in his life. Wolfram was just the one to provide the fun or so he told himself.
He shifted his weight as he waited for a response to his offer. It was win-win. He would get off the territory and the 'servant' would get a bit of fun in his life which was sorely lacking if he was running around and telling people to go away when the master couldn't do it his own lazy self.
Seriously, this was no way to defend something!

Guppy's eyes went wide and then he seemed to debate over the idea. It would be nice to get to play with this boy since he seemed so nice... and if he went along with him they would no longer be within Leviathan's territory which was the idea so... he should do that, shouldn't he? It would clear his Master's beach of invaders which was what Leviathan had wanted. It did seem like a good idea if you asked him.
"S-Sure... I think I would like that." He murmured at long last. While it was a touch daring to go outside of his Master's territory without permission he would still dare to do so if only to spend a few moments with someone that wasn't ordering him around and giving him new and odd nicknames every time the Zora was addressed.

When the other boy agreed the marionette beamed at him and nodded, "'Atta boy," he cheered and then waved for him to follow, "we will play games or some such, Friend. We will be kings for a day you and I." Wolfram chattered cheerfully making things sound like they will be wonderful so long as Guppy remained at his side, at least for today. Wolfram made no promises about tomorrow when he wasn't there. He couldn't make any such promise after all for he came and went as the wind did.
"M'Name is Wolfram. What is yours, Friend?" He asked genuinely curious. As much as everyone in the world was Wolfram's friend he still liked to know the names of his friends so that way he can properly address them when needed instead of Friend #293.
There was another issue of what to do now that he had his 'friend' to himself for a bit. Perhaps they could play a game of some sort? Or he can treat Guppy to some food-type things. The world is their oyster.

Kings for a day? He wasn't sure what he thought about that as he didn't want to seem as though he were infringing upon Leviathan's territory when it came to titles such as that, "Games sound nice." There wasn't much playing to be hand here after all, he was supposed to just behave and follow orders, such was the life of a servant though or so he had been told.
"I don't have one technically... I go by Guppy though since its the first nickname Lord Leviathan gave me." And it was preferable to some of the other ones that the guy came up with. His fins gave a little twitch before he moved to follow along after the other boy without really thinking about it. He had a rather strong and confident personality and as such he seemed easy enough to follow around.

Wolfram nodded enthusiastically as he started to lead the way away from the territory that he was supposedly not allowed to be on to a more neutral part of the beach where they could goof off in relative peace or play a game of some sort, "Ever play a game, Friend? Maybe we could play something that just two people can play, hmmm," his mind rambled through their choices in games.
"Guppy?" he echoed back with a small furrow to his brow. That seemed like an odd name for the boy to go by. He tilted his head a bit thoughtfully before he shrugged, "Not that it isn't a good name, Friend, but it seems kind of...Odd on the ears~." Something about the word just was blunt, short. Like it just flopped there as if it was a dead fish.
