I went out and bought some munchies and found a candy that I haven't seen since my age was still a single digit.
Ooze Toobz.
OMG I loved this stuff when I was younger. So I went and bought it. And its just as good and cavity causing as I remembered.
Any wayyyy, Forum has been chirping quietly with crickets, so I figured I'd post something.
So, Anyone else ran into a nostalgic food lately?

Oooz tubez were even too much for my sugar fiendness. xd
I had fun dip on the weekend. heart Sooo good. Lik-a-stix! hehe. Yeah, I added more sugar on top of an already boozy-sugar-filled evening. I made jello shots that night and daiquiris (which were aaaawesome). Mmmmm

Ah, I think I remember all of those! We actually have a pack of Nik-L-Nips on the counter right now, though they aren't as good as they used to be. The wax isn't really chewable anymore, just crumbly. Blech.

I've never heard of Ooze Tubes before, but Fun Dips! Hurrah! Fun dips and Rockets are the only candies I eat. Wait, I lie, I also really like those sour gum pieces that look like vomit you get from .25 cent machines. And Chocolate bars don't count as candy in my book (even still, I prefer just buying a package of 80% cocoa than a Snickers).
Does anyone else remember a pellet candy that came in a black hockey puck like container called T2 SOUR MELTDOWN? They were sour when you started and sweet at the very end. I remember the neighbourhood kids and my brother and I would buy those and put the whole contents in our mouths, in contests to see who could last the longest without spitting them out. Our eyes would water! It was hilarious! heart

Omggg, the sour candies that look like vomit! Those are the ones that are gum too right? I never used it as gum though because they lost their flavour almost as soon as you started to chew, haha.
I had kettlecorn all weekend in Calgary, but that's not as junkie. It's pretty addictive though. I had like a bag a day. I didn't really care the cost, plus it was at a lemonade stand so...kettlecorn + frozen slushie lemonades = heaven. heart

I just learned something trying to find the name of those vomit colour gum candies. (they are called Chews Sour Gum http://www.allstarvending.com/gum/chews.asp ) That the "Rockets" I was talking about are called "Smarties" in the USA with the exact same packaging. XD For a Canadian Smarties are a candy coated chocolate like M&M (only with more colours and in sadder vibrancy) I remember getting shredded gum in a pouch with Garfield on the package too XD When I was in Vancouver with my dad we went to a candy store down town. There were candies in boxes shaped like old school Nintendo controllers and Atari Joysticks. Nathan wouldn't let me buy them crying

Yummm!
My mom bought me some of that gamer candy and gave it to me on the weekend! I got a one up mushroom full of hard candies. xd Though, my dad is a huge sugar fiend too and was all "I'll take some of these, heh heh hehhh" every few minutes.
