Which is better Skyscraper or skyscraper 2? or is it user preference?

Skyscraper > Skyscraper 2

In an anti-meta deck such as this, you want to capitalize as much as possible from a single monster. Have it deal as much damage as possible, prior to summoning its replacement. Not to mention that Skyscraper 2 uses the chain, allowing it to be negated by Royal Oppression.
