Help Valkyrie find Skullduggery!

Valkyrie Cain waited patiently, outside Gordon Edgley’s estate, but she already knew something wasn’t right. She had promised to have a chat with her dead uncle a while back and had managed to get her parents to drop her off this morning at his house, to ‘do some cleaning.’ Skulduggery was meant to pick her up for a bit of training afterwards then return her in the afternoon before her parents took her home. “He was supposed to have been here an hour ago…” she muttered to herself “It’s not like him to be late… Some thing is wrong…” Making a few phone calls she realised no one had seen him since the day before yesterday, when Valkyrie had set this up; and Valkyrie couldn’t get though to Chinas phone. Fearing the worst she asked Fletcher Renn to teleport her to Chinas library as she pulled her reflection from the mirror; so her parents wouldn’t notice she was missing.
Fletcher Renn gave Valkyrie a small smile and a peak on the cheek. “Sorry” he said “but I got to go… stuff to do”
Valkyrie’s eyes narrowed in suspicions. “What kind of stuff?”
A wide grin spread across his face. “My stuff; See you later Val.” Valkyrie shrugged as she entered the library, ‘It doesn’t matter what he’s up to anyway…’ she thought ‘I’ve got my own investigating to do; Starting with China Sorrows.’
