So hi, i thought i should introduce myself. I am princesslymle89 (lymle is the name of a character from Star Ocean the Last Hope my fav) and i currently seek help. I have asked others on CB for help, but since this place prob has all the info i need....Ill ask here! My ex bf (nerd...but a cute one) talks trash to other duelists about how great he is and stuff and how no one can beat his gladiator deck. Well, me and my GFs thought, "what if he got beat by his EX?" and does this idea blossomed. I am currently playing the game on DS Yugioh 2010 and have watched the official tutorial video, but i still need some help. As this will be the first time I duel in real life! I get nervous. I will write down my zombie deck soon, but for now, any pointers?
ok so i have an update! 7/23/2010
well, me and my ex set a date to duel, which thankfully gives me more time to practice. we are set to duel on 8/03/2010. He still uses the gladiator deck but when i try to get a peek of what he uses....he keeps his cards close to his chest. XD oh well...guess i have to rely on how much i learned over the past week. And well a lot of you have contributed so many good ideas but since it seems these ideas all will work out i really only have to build one deck: remember people...im actually going to buy the cards. for the most part, zombies are my fav but a lot of you suggested E-Heroes or other paths all together. so...that being said...tomorrow i will try to post the final three decks and the cards i will use. please vote as a pm and let me know which deck to duel him with. i will purchase the cards on monday and hope for the best. sweatdrop

I know Reaper has been helping you out, but I need to ask if you're going to be using real cards or the DS to play him.
Also, first opportunity, memorize certain cards he is playing. Know what deck he uses will help us out significantly.

Considering your opponent is playing Gladiator Beasts, I sent you a decklist for Little City. Believe it or not, but E-HEROs beat Gladiator Beasts very easily.

Without power, what future can you claim? Really? I am surprised to hear that, as I've been living under the assumption that E-Heroes are terrible. Never woulda guessed that they could take GB's What good a kingdom you cannot defend?

During the Gladiator Beast/Tele-DAD format, Little City was one of the best anti-meta decks you could have run. Mind you, that wasn't the initial reason I created the deck in the first place. It was initially a counter to Light and Darkness Dragon and Perfect Circle Monarchs way back when.

Lol hey. Can I get that list? I've been getting pounded by Gladiators. I've been running a little somethin I call fury. Works very good against most types. Only trouble I've ever had is against E-Heroes and Fiend decks.

Know what deck he uses will help us out significantly. well this is for real life and its the first time ima duel at all! i havent bought any cards cause i dont want to spend so much money on this...its just for payback lol but actually, zombies have been good to me and well my friend uses elemental heroes and so i think he can give me some pointers but so far everyone here has helped a lot! ty

What with Mezuki going to one and all. yes this is true in my game, i downloaded the latest ban list (which i forgot to do) and mezuki...well...I CAN ONLY USE ONE NOW! crying crying crying but i havent given up hope!
