Basic Information
The weapon is essentially a Essentially a Mk. 14 Mod 0. Battle Rifle, except with a few major improvements to the barrel, bolt, and parts of the firing mechanism. The weapon sports a heavy, free-floating match grade 18 inch polygonal barrel, with 5R (5 grooves, rounded) rifling and a barrel twist of 1:11.25 (1 turn in 11.25 inches / 286 millimetres). With match grade ammunition, the weapon is capable of getting 1.25 MOA, even while firing automatically (although it is harder to control under automatic fire). The weapon is also designed to use 7.62mm x 51mm 11.2 gram 175 grain boat tail match grade rounds, greatly increasing the accuracy and range of the weapon.
It is very odd that the weapon uses Sniper rifle specific rounds and is capable of fully automatic fire; however, becuase the weapon is specifically tailor made for a specific kind of role, this mostly being to engage multiple quickly advancing targets while being a Designated Marksmen, coupled with the fact that the weapon is technically designed to fire 7.62mm x 51mm NATO rounds, makes it completely applicable for standard NATO compliance. It is still, however, a very odd gun, and still contains the tag of "Battle Rifle".
