On nice summer days, you'd either go to the beach or you go to the park. Luska didn't like the beach since she wasn't particularly comfortable being near anybody while wearing a bathing suite. And she probably wasn't fond of looking at others in their swim wear either. Luska thought it was a bit indecent...and would be embarrassed.
So they went to the next best thing; the park. Rein and Aaren didn't have work today so it seemed like a perfect day to have a picnic with Luska. The blanket was spread out on the picnic table and Aaren slowly placed the heavy basket of food down in the center before setting up the plates and cups. Now, what or who was missing in this picture?
"Tch. Where did that girl run off to now?" Rein muttered, crossing her arms.
Aaren laughed before saying, "Ah, she's just having fun. Besides, maybe she's learning to be more independent. I thought you wanted that." When she had gotten no reply, Aaren smiled with satisfaction and urged the other to finish setting up.
Luska swore she had stuck close to her mother's side. So close, in fact, she didn't leave any space between the two of them. But then, maybe something had caught her eye and it caused her to detach herself away from Rein and over to the object of interest.
It was a bunch of clovers and wildflowers. Luska set her parasol down and kneel down by the plants. She gingerly pluck off a clover off it's stem and closely inspected it. "...Eh? Only three leaves?" She tossed it to the side and begun searching for more. "Where are those four-leafed ones?!"
