Rules of the Guild 1.) Owners - The Bunit is the creator and main master of this guild. Syn55, Aeon-of-Eclipse, x-EternalAlice-x, Selena Lucania, and )(Over.Dose.On.Cyanide)( are her wonderful mods. 2.)Our Powers- We reserve the right to add or subtract rules as we see fit. But we'll be fair. I can attest to this. 3.)Posting- We would like to see at least two good chunky paragraphs per post. Our definition of a paragraph is at least five decently lengthened sentences. Of course, we won't put a maximum on the amount you may post, but at least two paragraphs is required. You may decorate your posts if you wish, but it's not a requirement. However, we ask that if you do decorate, please don't clutter it up too terribly bad to where we can't find your post. Please don't use any fonts smaller than size 10, or larger than size 12. We also ask that you post at least once a week. Also, put at the top of your posts your kingdom, status (heir, royal, etc), the location and a brief blip of what your character is doing. Remember to only refer to the character who is next in line for the throne as an 'heir'. The younger siblings are royals, princesses/princes or what have you. This helps alleviate confusion. If you have more than one character: You are required to do one post per character per week. Bit off more than you can chew? Talk to us, and we'll see if we can help you. 4.) Profiles- Use the provided skeleton.. (We like pictures, a lot) We would like for your Bio to be at least a paragraph. Bare minimum. Pictures being said. Unless you are using the same model with different poses... PLEASE give The Bunit a heads up. Switching your model actually requires her to do work. It's rude to blind side her with this. 5.) The ToS- The Gaiaonline Terms of Service. Obey them. They're in place for a reason. This role play, because of that, is rated PG-13. If you don't know them, go read them. 6.) Out Of Character Posts- We would like to keep all OOC posts restrained to the OOC forum. 7.) Quoting- Don't do it in the IC. I'll edit it out. 8.) Disappearances- Any disappearances for more than one week will result in you receiving a PM to find out if you'll be returning. There is a Leaves Thread in the main forum area. If you know that you're going to be gone, post there so that Bunit won't go on a gaia hunt trying to find you. ^.^ If you would like to drop out from the role play, just let one of us know. 9.) Romance & Violence- Romance and violence both are greatly encouraged. Do not cyber in our role play or you will be reported for breaking the ToS. If there's violence, keep the gore from becoming too excessive. 10.) Questions, Comments, & Concerns- If you have any questions, comments, concerns, suggestions, annoyances, grievances, etc, feel free to PM one of us. We'll work it out to the best of our ability. Don't be afraid that it will piss us off or hurt our feelings. It won't. As stated before, we have our big girl panties on. Well, except for Aeon-of-Eclipse... who is in big BOY undies. 11.) Puppeteering- Any puppeteering, should have permission obtained before hand. The Bunit should receive this permission from the person giving it, regardless of whom it's for so that we know it's being allowed. There will be absolutely no god-modding, auto-hitting, power-playing, or anything of the sort. Period. 12.) Joint Posts- MUST be approved by The Bunit 13.) Strikes- Just like in baseball, you get three. I will only warn you in regards to the rules twice. The third time I feel the need to say something to you, you're out of the role play, and depending on the offense, reported. If it's a reportable offense, kiss all three strikes good bye. You wasted them all at once. Good job. 14.) Enjoyment-Please have fun here! The mods wouldn't go through all of this effort, if we didn't want you to enjoy yourself.

It sucks that we have to hash this out, but in light of recent events and people not at least informing the mods that they were going on leave... It needs to be done. I hate cracking down on rules... rp is supposed to be fun. So long as you give us a heads up, this shouldn't be an issue. Unexcused Absences. We've a few people that decide to pop in and out of the thread, without giving warning to those that were interacting with their characters. While we understand that life gets in the way of rp, we do want you to be courteous to your fellow players. It's not fair to hinder their ability to post if they think that you will be giving them a response. (This being said, it is also courteous to give the person a day or so to post.) If you come back from an unexcused absence without any excuse as to why you deserted us in the first place, you will be on probation for the same amount of time that you were inactive. i.e. If you don't post in three weeks, you'll be on probation for three weeks. Probation in the guild has these consequences: If within that time, you take an absence without posting in the leave forum or telling one of the mods(barring extenuating circumstances), then you will run the risk of being booted from the guild. Any contests and such, you will be barred from partaking in. You may vote in contests, but your vote is only subject to count if you've made post minimum. Any big events and such will make us hesitant to make you a main part if you have one of these in your record. If we can't depend on you to post, why should we put your character in the spotlight for the arc? Also, if you go on probation, you will be barred from creating another character for two story arcs. No ifs, ands or buts about it. You will then only be considered for a second character if you've made post minimum every week since returning. (Minus any excused leaves) Guys. It's really not that hard. There's a leaves forum. If you aren't going to be able to pump out a post.... Let us know! Please do it there instead of the OOC... as the ooc is sporadic in conversation, and I will forget to move it over to the leaves.

In light of two situations, I'd would just like to make this clear. Plagiarism is no way acceptable.
This is includes, but isn't limited to, making a parable scenario of any of Silver's story lines, taking character concepts from another role player, taking side threads outside of the guild without having mod approval.
Such instances will land you an instantaneous ban out from the guild.

~Silver’s Absentee Policy~
Here’s the Gist:
Every member is expected to post once a week for each of their characters. Weeks will start on Monday, 12 am EST(eastern standard time) and will end on the following Sunday, 11 pm EST.
Things You Should Know:
Best Moderator to Contact About Leaves/Posting Issues: x-EternalAlice-x
The consequences for not making minimum:
Those who fail to make minimum (or post in the leaves thread) for the week will receive a warning. After two warnings in a row, their characters will be put on the inactive list. Characters on the inactive list officially qualify for probation when they return, which will last for the same number of weeks as they were considered inactive (i.e. A month of inactivity= a month of probation. See details on what that entails in the Rules thread).
Three warnings for failure to make minimum, whether given in a row or not, will count as an official ‘strike’ against you. As stated in the rules thread, three strikes and we reserve the right to boot you from the guild. x-EternalAlice-x will be keeping detailed track of this, and the moderators will of course review issues on a case-by-case basis.
One month of inactivity without word, and we also reserve the right to boot you from the guild and to add your characters to death row. If you want to re-apply with your old character/s (barring that we’ve not already “disposed” of said character/s), you will have to make an official appeal to the mods. If you would like to re-apply with a new character, you may do so.
What you should do if you're stuck waiting on a post:
If you are waiting on a post, and therefore don’t think you’ll be able to make minimum for that reason: Contact a mod, preferably x-EternalAlice-x, (as this pertains to her job and the other mods and Bunit are busy enough with their own given duties), and tell her so. It’s would be way too difficult for her to sift through every post and decipher who’s waiting upon who, so it is your responsibility to let her know about it.
If you don’t inform x-EternalAlice-x, we bare no responsibility for your being warned and then added to the inactive list. Do not inform her through the OOC, because those posts are easily missed. PM her about these issues, as they are a sure fire way that your notice will be received.
Taking Leave, and how you should go about it:
Do not just post about it in the OOC- it won’t count. Post it in the leaves thread, or contact x-EternalAlice-x or one of the other mods, so that we can post for you in the leaves thread…obviously, doing this on your own would eliminate a step for us, but either way is acceptable.
If you take leave for the week but find the time to post anyway, that’s totally okay. We understand that life can get busy without much notice, but also that one can find free time when they didn’t imagine they’d have any. Don’t be afraid to post if you’ve taken leave for the week, and don’t be afraid to take leave for the week if you’re only mostly sure that you won’t make minimum for that week. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
All about Extended Leaves:
When you post in the leaves thread, and you don’t provide an indication as to how long you’ll be gone, it will be assumed that you are only taking leave for that week. If you think you’ll be gone for two weeks, say so. Three, say so…and so on. If you think you’ll be gone for more than a month, or for an undermined amount of time, say so, and we will put your characters on the ‘excused absences’ list. You can remain on the extended leaves list without word for eight weeks, at which point we will contact you to see if you are still interested in the roleplay. If we don't get a response to this pm within two weeks of it being sent, your character will be added to the gallows and you will be removed from the guild. If you come back, you're welcome to re-apply with a new character or with an appeal for your old one/s.
Please…if you are going to be gone for a while…pleeeeeaaase write some sort of exit post for your character (note that if this isn’t going to be something run-of-the-mill like ‘he went to his quarters to sleep, sulk, etc’ but rather something climactic, which could involve other characters, you may want to run it by the mods first). If at all possible, please don’t leave someone hanging amidst an interaction. It not only makes it incredibly difficult for that person to post, but it will also probably make people hesitate to interact with your character in the future for fear of a similar situation.
If You Have A Problem, Contact me!
Talk to us about it! If you’re having issues keeping up with minimum because you have a lot of characters, talk to us about it! If you’re having writers block for a specific character, talk to us about it! We may be able to hash something out with you so that everyone is happy! Don’t just leave us hanging- we want to help, and we want to make sure that you have fun! That’s why we’re here!
And Last But Not least, I Am Only Human:
There may be times when x-EternalAlice-x or another moderator might miss a post, and send you a warning when you don’t deserve one- if that should happen, calmly tell x-EternalAlice-x about it (via PM- do not do this in the OOC thread), and she will locate the post and edit her list.
Please don’t throw a fit about it; the situation is easily remedied. Make an a** out of yourself over it though, and the process might become more difficult.
There might also be times when we fail to account in the leaves thread for people who have told another moderator, other than x-EternalAlice-x, in person or through tinychat or IM, that they will not be making minimum. She will try very hard to keep up with that, but she might occasionally forget. If she or a moderator makes this error, don’t get upset- if it really concerns you, inquire about it through a pm, and we promise to let you know what’s up and to update the thread accordingly.
~That’s it, Folks!~ Any more questions about how the absentee policies work? Please contact x-EternalAlice-x, or one of the other mods!
