 Xyneus was out in the early evening. She had only been up for a few hours, but she felt this was close to the time when many carousel animals went to sleep. She liked to be ready on stand by just in case she was needed.
She stretched her long tiger body, even her wings. She found evenings the best lately. It could get really hot out in the forest during the day. She really didn't enjoy that at all. Oh yes, she gave a roll on the ground in each direction. When she was ready, she sprung to fly up into the tree.
What a year this had been for her. Not only did she come off the carousel, but she found a husband and had children.

 The night was coming on fast, as the goddess stretched her front legs out and flexed her paws. As the sky grew darker, Faer's fur seemed to give off a gentle glow. It would be a beautiful night, staying warm but not overly hot like mid day. Spring was over, summer in full swing and Faer's duty to awaken the world from the deep cold winter was over for another year. She still helped, keeping flowers in bloom and sometimes brought warm gusts of air to those places who forever saw the winter.
Now, the spring goddess decided to take a leisurely stroll through a small, quiet forest that she had passed over a few days ago. She was keeping her promise that she would come back, and she had. Faer's white and pink form moved elegantly through the forest, the setting sun dappling the forest floor. With each step she took, a small batch of wild flowers and grass sprung up under her paw. But when she stepped away, it wilted into a brown clump of floral death before slowly fading into no where. Around her, cherry blossom petals floated in endless loops around her body. Slowly, lazy showing that the tiger was calm and at peace.
Faer slowly brought her nose up to the closed bud of a casablanca lily and a smile crossed her lips. The petals slowly opened at her touch, expanding outwards. A few other buds on the same bush did the same, slowly awakening for the spring goddess. The newly opened lilys filled the air heavy with their floral scent.

Xyneus in the meanwhile had already visited upon her first of the evening. It just so happened the poor dear was sleeping in the hole in the middle of a nearby tree. It was an easy fix. No nightmares. Just inability to find a way into a good sleep. Luckily, the dreams Xyneus gives usually help almost anyone to sleep well.
She pounced off the tree's trunk and down to the forest floor. She was smiling wide as she normally did. She enjoyed the feeling of doing something comfortable for someone else. She loved to serve others.
She was enjoying the merriment of such contemplations when it was she was trotting by. She caught the glimpse of glowing sakura petals. She paused in motion. She sat on her hind legs as she rubbed her eyes with her front paws. She knew full well that she wasn't dreaming. It was possible for her to almost enchant daydreams on others, but the idea of that sort of thing happening to her was absurd.
Then, she turned her head to look again. This time, she noticed more than not only were some of them glowing, but they danced around another tiger. She cocked her head to the side as her eyes stalked the glowing petals.
Xyneus crawled into some brush nearby to grab a closer look. She thought to herself perhaps hiding wasn't any good. Surely the other goddess being a tiger would pick up on the fore sense of another animal nearby, so she slid out from the brush on the side closer to the goddess of the glowing petals.
