 Kina slept quietly in her room snuggled up to pillows. The day before had been rough and a little exciting at the same time. Her and Freyr had gotten a little closer over the past couple weeks and found herself wanting to be around him the whole time. She had talked to her daughter asking her what she thought if they were to per say... get together and she seemed quite fine with it. Thinking about that she wasn't able to sleep. She sighed as she stood up and looked out the window. It was still dark out and the moon was high in the sky. Not being able to sleep she thought she would take a nice little walk around the castle. Maybe it would make her tired.

 Frey took a deep sigh and looked up at the moon. He had been coming out here recently to a medium sized tree in the courtyard and looking up at the night time sky. Tonight was especially beautiful because the moon was only a couple of days from being full. Then it was about time for another sigh. He had been doing that a lot lately.
He had come across this group of foxes a couple of weeks ago and surprisingly gotten along well with him. He was even becoming closer to his sparkly violet maiden. ((apparently she's violet this week)) Of course there lie most of his problem. Most foxes thought he was rather on the eccentric side so he hadnt really been one to make friends or more. So even though he wanted to ask to go further he was scared. What if he messed up, what if she didnt want to be around him anymore. Thinking all these wasn't like frey at all. Thus all the sighing.

She stood and stretched out her body. Once stretched she made her way quietly out of her room leaving behind Farah and her two kits resting quietly. She had forgotten that all the girls and boys slept in separate rooms. Quietly she walked down the hall making sure to make no noise. The last thing she wanted was to wake Altair or the boys. She trotted along the hall and soon stepped out into the courtyard. She looked around. It was beautiful at night... especially when the moon shined down on all parts of the castle.

Frey was pulled out of his musing as a noise caught his attention, the sound of padded feet walking. He slowly turned to look in the direction to see his sparkly grape maiden standing in the courtyard. She looked very lovely bathed in a slight glow from the moon light.
He coughed to alert her of his presence before speaking. "you are up awfully late grape maiden. Is everything alright?" He asked. his tail lightly waving back and forth in the air as he rested in the branches.

Kina jumped slightly and quickly looked to her right. She hadn't expected anyone to be out here around this time a night. She sighed as she noticed the height liking fox in the tree.
"Oh... Frey... its just you." She closed her eyes as she let out a breath she had kept in. "You scared me." She looked back up at him as she trotted closer to the tree he was in. "Heh..." She giggled at his question. "I should ask you the same thing... how long have you been up there..." She turned her head to the side to stare at him.

"ah sorry grape maiden It was not my intention to do so." Frey stated looking down at her. He lightly blushed glad he was far enough up the tree it wasn't recognizable. "Well I was unable to sleep and am often up this late. Um up in this tree? well five hours 23 minutes an 57 seconds." he said sliding down carefully from the tree.

"Its alright..." She smiled. "I'm actually glad i'm not out here alone." Her tai gave a gentle wag. "Oh wow... You really did keep track." She chuckled as she watched him descend from the tree. "Well since were both out here... would like to walk with me?"

" Ah keeping time is sort of a litte habit of mine." Frey said looking over towards the side. He knew that being able to be precise as that wasnt exactly normal. "well its good then I was out here. I'm glad to be of assistance. A walk? yes I would love to go on a walk"

"I see." She smiled. "Well that can come in handy at some time." She watched him walk up to her. "It is a good thing you were out here." She chuckled then turned. "Off we go then." She began walking toward the gate.

"ah yes when I get rather worn out or troubled I just like to look up at the moon when its full." Frey admitted. "some places you only get to see their true beauty under the moonlight and others the soft glow enhances it. Its very calming" Frey nodded and quickly fell into step with her as they walked towards what seemed to be the gate.

"The moon does feel calming when you look at it..." She watched him listing to every word he was saying. "Oh my... that sounds beautiful Frey..." She smiled. "I'm really glad I get this time to spend with you..." She trotted out of the gate. Normally one fox wasn't aloud outside the gate alone but with Frey with her she would be fine.

"ah really..." Frey looked over to the side a light pink dancing over his muzzle. "I also thank you for spending time with me lately. Its meant a lot". As they entered the gate some of his attention stayed alert on their surround areas.

Kina smiled as she closes her eyes and nodded. "Yes... I'm quite happy... I haven't been able to spend time with others that I care about..." She blushed as she looked away. "You know... On account of how were always busy... it seem's like the only free time we get is late at night..." she looked back up at him. "And not allot of us are awake at night..."

"yes that can be frustrating a times but it also helps people get through the work knowing they are doing the work for their family. Hopefully one day we will have enough that we can take more breaks but for now.... yes it does seem that all our free time is at night but thats suits me fine. Before I came here I was a rather nocturnal fox."

"Your right... I do like working with my family and knowing I can make a difference in others lives."
She walked down the small hand made path. The cooled earth felt good beneath her paws. The forest was beautiful at night. The moon beams dancing in and out of the gaps in the leaves of the trees.
"Really?" She turned her attention back to him. She had no idea that he use to me a nocturnal fox. "I didn't know that..." She frowned a little. "If being awake in the day time is hard for you, Altair can give you a night job instead. That way its not too hard on you."
