Adelle's pink satin ribbon-wrapped wings flitted behind herself as she drifted through her sanctuary, better known as Durem Mall. A broad, fanged grin was painted across her face. She was planning on adding a certain new... decoration to her naturally decorated body, something to celebrate the newly-noticed visibility of her ribcage. Not the healthiest thing to be celebrating by a long shot, but she knew that it wasn't healthy, knew that she wasn't healthy at this point. Regardless, she could only see herself getting prettier and prettier as the thickness around her bones fell away to reveal more dramatic curves than she even knew she had.
"Quod me nutrit, me destruit," she whispered to herself, clutching her purple corduroy handbag to her chest as she spun in a circle. It was the smartest-sounding phrase that she knew, and she could actually say it right! No less, it actually meant something to her. It was of course while she was spinning that someone ran into her and she managed to slip and fall to the floor. The girl squeaked unhappily and wiggled, glaring daggers at the female -one from her school- after she huffed and walked off.
Sighing softly, Adelle stood, dusting off her purple beaded skirt, readjusting the the ruffly, showy purple half-top she was wearing. Today, the short-cut hairs on top of her head were dyed a purple-magenta-pink fade, half-spiked and pushed forward. She still worse those signature braids of her's, which she threw over her shoulders before continuing through the mall, brown eyes peeled for a three-eyed boy with a pair of angry red tentacles...

This place was horrifying he thought to himself as he approached the mall, all three of his eyes going wide. There were... so many people. His tentacles were displeased with that, he could feel it the way that they were twitching but if nothing else at least they were behaving themselves for the moment. One of them was draped around his waist like a flashy, over sized belt while the other was playing the part of a scarf. They seemed as though they were laid back enough at the moment but that could change in an instant as they were prone to attacking things that they saw as threatening... which was mostly anything that came within their reach most days.
"T-Try to b-behave yourselves, this p-place is going to be c-crowded and most of the p-people could c-care less about me." He told the pair in quiet, ever stuttering voice.
It was actually a bit of a lie, it was hard to ignore good looking people, especially those who seemed to give off an air being detached like he did. It was likely the latest vampire fad that made people seem to take notice when a quiet, withdrawn, and good looking person walked by. Not that he could know that, he hadn't gotten into that sort of thing since he was more interested in watching Animal Planet. Something about the lives of animals, the way they lived and died, seemed to perk his interest. When it came to attention grabbing it didn't help that most of what Iah wore lacked a midsection to it. It was easier for him to wear cut off, belly shirts then anything because of his tentacles and due to being to lazy to cut actual holes in his shirt. Besides it was warm enough outside that anything more wasn't needed.
He looked from side to side and then continued forward, wondering where Adelle was. He was rather surprised to get her notes about meeting her here but he'd jumped at the chance to leave home and find something interesting to do. Staying at home like he was supposed to do, being a good kid like his parents wanted him to be, it was making his rather restless though he couldn't have known that was his own strange mix of two sins causing that sensation in him.

Predictably, it didn't take Adelle long to notice when Iah appeared among the normal, boring mall-goers. It also took her a moment to stop staring at him with wide brown eyes; Jeeezus, was she really related to him? 'Please, God, say it ain't so!' her mind cried as she chuckled only weakly, genuinely wishing that there was some way to get around the fact that the both of them shared a... an Adriel. She stared a moment longer, trailing her tongue over her lips longingly before she shook herself out of the haze, swallowing down how attractive her half-brother was and skipping up to him, the ribbons tied to her wings fluttering in the slight breeze she created.
"Boo!!" she squeaked as soon as she was close enough to be within his line of sight, giggling happily and waving in excitement, very happy to be able to spend the day with her half-brother. Like spending time with Mommy, it was a valuable experience that she didn't get to do too terribly often. Smiling brightly, she waved and tried to keep back those happy giggles, Kammy and Sutry clinging to each other behind her back for the sake of keeping away from his much angrier tentacles.
"Well look who decided to show up! Finally as old as I am, no less!!" she teased sweetly, sticking her tongue out at the boy before straightening up and gesturing deeper within the mall. "Nice to see you again, though, Iah," she added sweetly, taking any bite out of her last statement as she started forward. "So any plans for what you want to get here? Like, clothes, food, piercings, tattoos... something else?" she asked with interest as she swayed her steps forward at an easy pace, winking as an added comment to her latest statement before falling into the giggles again.

Iah gave a jolt of surprise when the one that he was here to meet with was suddenly right there near to him, crying out 'boo' at him. His entire tensed before he turned to look over at her, hands lifting instantly to catch hold of the angry tentacles that were rising up and writhing in a manner that seemed unamused by her scaring him in such manner. He sighed as he set to work trying to keep them in line before he looked over at his half sister, "S-Sorry... that it t-took me a b-bit to get here." He said in an apologetic manner.
He felt his cheeks color slightly at mention of how old he was now, it wasn't exactly something he was proud of since the older he got the stronger his tentacles were getting and the stronger they got the harder it was to get near to anyone, his family included, "Y-Yeah... b-bigger..." He said, his disappointment clear in his tone as he looked himself over. He gave a half shrug then looked at his half sister again when she started as him what his plans were for what he wanted to get at the mall. He had a bit of money but as for plans...
"I... I d-don't know... m-maybe I will f-figure something out w-when I s-see it." He said after a moment of though, moving to fall into step side her and just out of tentacle reach. Said red tinted, angry limbs were once more settled down and wrapped around him quietly though the way they seemed to twitch and tense now and again said they were still on guard.

Adelle was happy to skip beside her brother, making sure to keep herself at a good enough distance that she wasn't going to be attacked as she had been before. She frowned softly at how disappointed he seemed to be about the fact that he was bigger, but she gave him a slight smile. "Well... I guess it does make them bigger, too, but at least now you can kinda control or hold them a little better, too, right?" she offered hopefully, giving the boy the bright sort of smile that always came from her. "'Sides, maybe you'll get lucky and when you start getting even bigger, they'll stop being so angry, or they'll do what you want or something, right?" she added, still smiling as she always seemed to be.
"Well, no plans is alright, too~ That just means that we don't have to think too much about what we're gon'na do next. Ohright- and keep in mind that I've got one'a my Grandpa's credit cards with me, so cost isn't an issue," she said, giggling sweetly as she rooted around in her purse for a moment before pulling out the silver piece of plastic and flashing it at the male before slipping it back out of sight. "Also, I hope you don't mind, but I did have one plan at least; I was going to get a tattoo at one of the parlors here that my friend said that I should go to. So... you can come with me if you want, or you can go explore, or you can do whatever else you want to. It shouldn't take too long."
