Gluttony and liberality, old blood at last. She was beginning to think they had all grown up or decided not to take anymore classes or something. Still, this one wasn’t exactly young OR a returning student as far as she knew. Pity. The experienced ones were far more fun to mess with than the beginners. Oh well. At least there was a rumor roaming around, not that the event had occurred a few hallways away from her room, that this particular spawn had been involved with some sort of fight with Vampy. Probably an uprising against the boss, but nothing ended too well for anyone.
Ary snorted. Silly children thinking they could beat up a big bad man like Vampy. She wouldn’t have taken him on whether they were in Antarctica or in the middle of a store that sold holy enchanted weapons. However... “Oh shut up,” she grumbled aloud to herself, glancing irritably up at the clock. “He better get his a** here soon.”

Returning the facility was not something on Dane's list of 'Things I'd Like to Do' unfortunately he didn't have much of a choice in this matter. He knew he was skating on thin ice as it were, and if he decided to completely disobey Vampy's rules then he might as well kiss his home goodbye. Still, walking into the cold white sterile building sent chills down his spine, remembering where he first got a hold of Jhor as he was heading to confront Vampy, then the hall and the fight, none of it sat well with him.
His flip-flops slapped against the tile as the bulbous green teen made his way toward the classroom he was instructed to attend. He had just finished a large lunch, very large. Dane was bloated and was chewing on a tooth pick in his mouth, hands crammed into his pockets he sure didn't look like he was taking this very seriously. He had nothing against this teacher, he'd never met her and to be quite honest he didn't mind learning how to fight better. It just so happened that when it came to having anything to do with Vampys wishes Dane was rather reluctant these days.
Finally arriving Dane knocked on the class door before opening it a very evident air of apathy surrounding him.
((By the way skits, Dane still technically had other melee classes, he'd be just as up to date as any other students that did. Buying them off just meant that they happened...I just didn't rp them out XD; ))

((Oh... Well, lets just assume Ary got faulty records and also goes by those that have taken her class before. YES. I LIKE THAT IDEA. LETS GO WIFF THAT TO HIDE MY OBVIOUS IDIOT MOMENT. I can change the title too...))
Well... Dane was definitely a gluttony child. And apparently didn't look to be taking the entire class thing seriously. Well, he would soon regret that. Unless he did in which case she didn't care anyways, he was still going to endure her class like it or not.
"Dane, I assume? M'name's Ary," Ary greeted coolly, thinking up half a dozen things for him already. "So, since this is a melee class, anything you really want to learn?" she asked, crossing her arms.

"Yup," He affirmed his hands still in his pocket. Dane wasn't being directly rude but he sure wasn't going out of his way to be polite either. He continued chewing on the toothpick moving it from side to side in his mouth.
What did he want to learn? To fight, or at least he thought that's why he was here, "To fight better?" He said with a facetious attitude.
((Haha XD alright, that works))

Ary scowled, crossing her arms to keep herself from lashing out at his attitude. A funny guy, eh? Great. "Well obviously after you got your a** kicked by a guy in a suit. And rather easily if I remember right," she replied coldly, not a hint of humor in her tone. Already the teacher could tell it was going to end up being a long class. And not an easy one either.
"What I meant was a style of fighting. Something with weapons or your bare hands? Would you rather slice open someone's throat from the shadows without making a sound or would you rather knock them out with a well-aimed blow to the face?" Ary continued, not actually expecting the boy to do well with the whole sneaking around silently thing. Not unless he suddenly decided he wanted to take the class seriously and proved to be more stealthy than he looked.

Dane sneered furrowing his brows as he chomped his toothpick in half, "I'd like to see anyone do better," He muttered. If Jhor wasn't able to take Vampy down Dane seriously doubted anyone would be able to.
"I'd rather snap someone's spine in half with my own hands, I'm not gonna rely on some weapon that could s**t out," He replied leaning against the wall. He was not happy, he figured he might as well try to get through a class as painlessly as possible but if she was going to pull out that card on him, Dane just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible.

Ary frowned, tempted to take that as a challenge. And she probably would march right down to Vampy's office with the intention of kicking his a**. Or die trying. "There are weapons enchanted to neither break nor dull. But, if you'd rather fist fight I'd be happy to show you a thing or two," she replied, cracking her knuckles.
"Besides, snapping spines are easy. It's splicing them in half vertically that's the real challenge. Very messy, but fun. Now, do you want to start with the basics or showing me what you already know?" she asked, readying herself for any sort of attack. Dane was older and pissed by her earlier comment so it had to be good. Or really pathetic.

Dane wasn't entirely sure how to react, he knew that the 'proper' thing to do was to sit back and let her go through the motions and let her 'teach' him. However...she did ask him to show her, plus it was probably better to learn my doing rather than by being told. "Alright then," Dane said standing up from leaning on the wall and getting into a fighting stance. He was pretty quick for his size, a little surprising. He was just as good as anyone his age from the facility and tricky too. Dane went in from a direct angle and used a fake out, before going in with his left fist, being left handed had it's advantages if someone were to automatically assume the right was more dominant. Dane's biggest problem though, he wasn't going into the spar trying to actually hurt Ary, he didn't have true intentions to seriously hurt her.

Dane’s speed was indeed surprising to the woman, especially so when he started using his left hand as his dominant one. Definitely threw her through a loop as she went to block the attack. Saying nothing in response, a pale fist mimicked his move and faked a punch to his shoulder. So his attacks were good, but what about his defense? How many holes could she find and exploit before calling quits? So many questions, so little time to answer them.

Dane used the outside of his forearm to brush away the incoming fist to his shoulder. He wasn't bad at blocking his face and shoulder area, though he held himself like a boxer and had tons of holes in his defense. He'd mainly focused on his attacking abilities, while slacking on his defense which showed. He could block basics but to anyone with a trained eye his entire torso, sides, and back was riddled with holes. His feet were planted firmly which gave him a good solid foundation which was great for charging and standing his ground but terrible if someone came around from the side of behind, he wouldn't be able to turn soon enough. As for his torso he held his arms too high and too tightly to be able to help more then just diverting a blow by grazing it if he were lucky.
