
The day was still in its prime as a breeze swept through the treetop canopies that shaded the forest below. The kings and queens of the forest shaking their long arms as if greeting the summer breeze while their loose leaves lightly danced their way to the forest floor where creatures big and small went about their days.
A long little filly blinked when a leave found its way to her muzzle. With a simple shake of her head it flipped back up in to the air and went on its way, but Nikita had found her attention locked elsewhere within those close seconds. She knew at the moment she should be training, running, as her mother told her to do, but was the mare around to yell at her for stopping, nope. So for all she knew she was safe.
"Come back here you."
The bright orange foal used her hoof to try and steer a lone beetle back to her, but the insect had other plans as he flew a few feet away and went on with its scuttle self, but alas, Nikita followed with her eyes locked and head close to the ground.
Bad idea if she were to run in to anything...
