how come they do not remake final fantasy VII!!! they have these great graphics in all the other FF VII games. VII is one of the most important parts of the FF VII string of games and it's is so painful to play and watch the sences inbetween. coments?

Personally I Love ff7 how it is, its great as it is and there is no need to remake it.

Most likely because FFVII already have other better looking crap made after that game already. If there are games that need better graphics it should be the ones before FFVII. Those need more shine, then one already milked.

When FF7 was still being made, Square created a video clip with FF6 characters in FF7 graphics. And fans of my generation (I feel old) raved about it. "An FF6 remake!" we exclaimed. And then FF7 was released and people started shouting foul. "Where's our FF6 remake?" They demanded. But they were ignored anyways. The only remake they ever got was an FF6 with FMV sequences.
So with this, I think it will never happen. I for one want to see FF7 in better graphics, but I think the title is already ruined enough after the spin-offs. If they are to do the remake, they have to adjust to the things they added like Zack's death and whatnot and even if that WILL look awesome, it will only leave a bad aftertaste on my side. Seriously, Zack's death in FF7 was more meaningful than it was in Crisis Core; which IMO was nothing more than fan service.

There have been rumors that a FF7 remake is on the way on the PS3, but mind you, they are just rumors.

Yeah, I don't much buy into rumours, mainly because an FF7 remake has been rumoured to be happening since the dawn of man. Well, the dawn of PS2 anyway.. It would be nice if they remade FF7, but I doubt they ever will seeing as they have other projects to deal with.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who noticed. I was like they look like legos but worse but also I really like the game but they are milking it bad. I mean if anyone should have a franschise it should be ff9 seeing that it is really popular.

I don't think they should even consider a FFVII remake. Sure, it has a lot of fanboys/fangirls, but that doesn't mean it should be redone with today's graphics. FFVII was fine how it is, and should be left alone. Besides, VII wasn't even THAT great. It was good yes, but not as good as people try and make it out to be.

Guilao Rian Personally I Love ff7 how it is, its great as it is and there is no need to remake it. This. Plus, I saw what they did with Advent Children finally. [I'm usually late to the party on these things, in this case, five or six years late.] I HATED IT. Great actions scenes, very visceral, but my god, the story was crap. I think I've lost faith in the writers of FF. It was that terrible to me.

I just wanna buy the FFVII and play it would it be the old lego look or new shiny one! i just cant find it anywhere!! -.- best would be the old one so i could play it with PS2.

Remake would mean they would make changes. Those changes can either make or break a game, and it's almost always break, since it wont be the same game we all remember. Not only that, but VII doesn't deserve a remake any more than the others do. The only reason it got to be so popular and wide selling was because it was the first FF with 3D graphics. Without that, I doubt it would have sold a 1/4 of what it did.
