Forest of Death

The Forty-fourth Training Ground also known as the Forest of Death, is where the second part of the Konoha Chūnin exams, proctored by Anko Mitarashi. Its primary function serves as a testing ground for the survival and fighting skills of Genin trying to become a Chūnin. It was a very dangerous place, filled with hordes of flora and fauna; often gigantic, poisonous — or even more likely, both. Other Ranks of ninja can come into the forest to train as well besides genin, they usually come in singles or pairs to hone their solo skills.

Satoru walked out toward the forest with his hands in his pockets. His white eyes scanned the area and saw a girl, from her appearance she looked to be 16. The young Hyuuga approched her as she was completing her combo, as she raised her leg Satoru was almost hit in the face. So he quickly removed his right hand from his pocket and blocked with the palm of his hand. He took three steps back and place his hand back in his pocket with a grin. "My, that's some kick you have there. You know its dangerous to be in this forest alone." He reached out his right hand to greet her properly. "My name is Hyuuga Satoru."

After Satoru shook Akiko's hand he crossed his arms and softly smiled. "There okay, but could be better. Truly I can't measure my abilities to anyone elses until I fight them. Judging from your movements and the power of your kick, I'd say you are probably stronger than me... Though that wouldn't be much of a surprise.." His eyes drifted to the lower left corner for a moment, but then quickly looked back up at her. Satoru didn't think much of his abilities, even if he easily defeats an opponent he still sees his abilities at average and sees them as equals.

Satoru smiles at Akiko's enthusiasm for getting stronger and wanting to learn new jutsu. "I feel the same, though I can only learn my clans jutsu from another Hyuuga. But when we get put into squads we can all get stronger together." He said as he got about five to six feet away from Akiko and got in the Juuken stance closing his eyes. "But for right now we just have each other and should make the most of it, lets see what you got..... Byakugan!" Vains were now visible around Satoru's eyes and the area where his pupil was suppose to be was visible as well, but still white. He was determined to find out just how strong Akiko was and help her become stronger.

Satoru grinned as he narrowed his eyes, being able to see Akiko's chakera flow. "You haven't seen anything yet.." He said, reffering to her statement. He ran toward her, when he was about a meter or so away he thrusts his right palm toward Akiko's left shoulder. Satoru aimed for the shoulder because he didn't want to cause to much damage if his attack was successful and risk hitting a vital organ.

Satoru caught himself as soon as she move, getting back in his stance quickly. Even though he was not facing her, he could see the attack with his Byakugan. His reaction was to counter, so he connected his two fingers and thrusts them toward the leg that was flying at time aiming for one of the chakera points in her leg. If hit, it would cause her to temporarily lose the chakera flow in the leg and cause some other internal damage to the leg as well.

Satoru smiled at the comment, he felt his skills were still basic level. But it was still nice to get a complement like that. "Thank you, your very talented yourself." He readied his stance once more. I know not to hit any area with vital organs, but if I can get one arm and her left leg I will most likely be able to win. He thought to himself, then he ran toward her once more. He was about one meter away, then he thrusts his left fingers toward Akiko's right shoulder, attempting to hit the chakera points there as well.
